Dir En Grey「mode of Withering to Death」@ Islington Assembly Hall 2024

After almost two decades of being a fan, I finally had the chance to experience Dir En Grey live over at the Islington Assembly Hall 🙏
Deffo glad I had the chance to get a ticket before this show sold out, I ended up choosing the "mode of Withering Death" day over the UROBOROS one mainly because two of my fav songs by them (Kodou & The Final) were in that iconic album so it was a great nostalgia trip to experience live! 🤘😁
Only complaint I have was the sound mixing for the venue (thankfully the mic worked somewhat well in this regard) that and wished the set was a bit longer with more extra encore tracks lol but either way I'm happy to have finally seen them live, and it was fun hanging out with some friends and making new ones at the show!
...oh and apologies on the ear damage from the screaming fangirls around me 😅 even my mic had issues filtering that out lol crazy fun night for sure =P

It's interesting they did the original version of THE FINAL. Usually they'd go for the 2013 remake version but still can't go wrong with the original and it is a part of Withering to Death so it fits.

I enjoy every gig I go to but I also like to document it into a Vlog for others and as a memory for me, but I always try and record between songs as to not bother those behind me too much 👍
