Since this was posted a year ago, you may know by now… but it is called a “Pig Rail” because mother pigs are notoriously horrible mothers. They often lay on babies and so rails are added to help prevent.
I had thought that might be the case but thanks for confirming it! Poor little piglets having such terrible mommas. 🐖🐖🐖 Thanks so much for watching and contributing comments!!
I know! We loved the random yellow one too! We kept her and named her Nala. She's an amazing dog and at 17 months competed at the national level. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
I made them on Word. As breeders, we felt it was nice to provide a certificate to our clients recognizing their individual puppie's completion of the ENS program in their folder of information that they received, along with their puppy, at week 7. (I show the folder in week 7 video). So, it's not an "official' certificate.
The recipe is as follows: 1 tsp corn syrup, 4 Tbsp boiled water, a few grains of table salt (sodium chloride) and a few grains of salt substitute (potassium chloride). I'll attach the article I found this in: gordonsetterexpert.org/tag/glucose-solution-for-puppies/ The entire article has a lot of great information.
Hi Rebecca, thanks for the question. Typically you will only need the glucose drops for the first 24-48 hours. As soon as they get a strong suck you can be done. Here is another video that covers this time period. Thank you for watching, and feel free to reach out again! ua-cam.com/video/cwTfT8TaywE/v-deo.html

Where do the collars come from
We use Rik Rak. You can find it at most fabric stores.
What material do you use for their collars?
Hi! It's rick rack. I purchase it at the fabric store by the thread and seaming items. :) It's so cute, isn't it? Makes me happy.
@@TheRetrieverNation it is!! Thank you!!
No teeth when born
You are correct! Thank you for watching!
They do not have any teeth when they are born, like newborn humans. And all of there eyes will be a dark brown color.
