Great video, love watching this channel. McLaren said if you look at this car with one eye, they will charge you $20k, look with both eyes and they will charge you $50K.😂🤣😃. The pricing on the options are just outrageous
What I don't get is someone spending all that extra for a bespoke spec' and then not keeping the car long term. Their money of course, but seems a massive waste for a short period of time
Hang on a minute... 4500 to paint some brake calipers! You can get a whole car sprayed for that! Once again the more you spend, the more they rip you off!
Most of those options are crazy prices. £150k of options that are worth about £15k now. Nice to have bespoke car but a base spec car drives exactly the same Don't waste your money unless it's an essential option like lift
Logically I agree but if you can afford a car like this you aren’t going to worry about paying £150k for a £15k option are you? At this price the look is just as important as the performance otherwise you would choose a more mainstream vehicle.
Is that proper Alcantara or just racetex? Also, the steering wheel looks pretty used, the parts where the hand holds the wheel looks scrapped and the ohter sides of the seats on lower torso looks wrinkled and not streched nicely anymore, it was doing a lot of in and outs and I'd suggest also it was driven on short distances, also from steering wheel signs, bot with racing gloves that reduce wear and tear in steering wheel by 99%, and also could "hurt" a car nore than "track" use or proper use where mechanical parts are brought to temp and used with car in motion with constant amount of air flowing over components, opposed to city (center) driving where a car needs to do 100x more gearchanges and other actions in not perfect conditions resulting in much higher wear and tear just due to owner not having every time a chance to bring a car with mechanical parts and fluids to operating temps and later the same before shutting off the engine... Was in that business for quite a long time and have seen "beautiful low mileage cars" that were in such a bad shape, on the other hand, I got the ex company car a4 b7 avant 3.0tdi multitronic with full s line interior exterior and "undercarriage aka suspension, etc ..." That was bit under 3 years old, regularly serviced but had just over 100k km and was almost loaded to full, also had leather/Alcantara interior with swear to God no signs of wear at all, even that being company car, used exclusively on Autobahn Berlin Munich Frankfurt, did the preventive fluids change and dynoed it before/after and was practically no loss, did few mods and gradually bring it to 340hp, 2 years later sold for almost 10% higher price of what i paid for car, import fees and all the mods, the owner still uses it, commutes mostly for 100km+ in one way and back, doing all regular maintenance with quality parts and did 2 or 3 interior refreshings in about 12years mostly for the leather because a lot of times it's exposed to the sun and the car and its still like it has less than 20k km, not more that 320k... On the other hand I've seen imports of 2, 3 years old cars with 10 to 20k km that were looking like they've been running daily for 25 years to get in that condition...
I love this channel and especially the spectacular videos, but sorry, all this money for options on a Maclaren,on a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, yeah £150k for the car Yup in a New York minute 😅

Agree
Its to also increase resell value,
@@rtmanyemba not by the amount spent though
Empty consumers
What I cannot understand is why would you go to the expenses of building creating this lovely car and finishing it then SELL IT ?
The base car costs £1 and it’s all the add-ons and options that bring it up to £400k! I normally have an aversion to red cars but this looks amazing.
I have lots of these types of cars (24) I never buy new, i always buy up to 12 months old I save a fortune plus there's no waiting list
Romans setting the levels now 👏🏾
beautiful amazing car, the carbon fibre option prices is ludicrous! at least the new owner will get that £100k saving😊
Mad spec, I love it...!🤑
Amazing spec on one of my favourite cars. One day 🤤
Madness, but fantastic….. 👍

Owner: gimme 150k worth of carbon fiber options to reduce a little bit of weight
McLaren: say less
