The solution is to build the building that provide the resources you need, resources in this mod isn't specified into the region you have to build them yourself. I played an Oda campaign with this mod Ive never had so much fun with Shogun 2 I love the fact that the Samurai units are considerably smaller than the Ashigaru The professional Yari-Ashigaru were the workhorse of my Armies
One thing to note is that there's an expanded resource list in the mod, and some technologies and buildings are locked behind such resources. To access the resource and unlock progress, you will either need to have the appropriate region under your control or be trading with someone that does. Sometimes neither of these are possible (more so for some clans), and thus you may find yourself blocked for long stretches or until you take drastic actions like backstab your decades-old ally to get that stone or whatever. 1. It's MASTER, not masters of Strategy. 2. Last mod update was in distant 2020 or even 2019 on main mod parts, so mod is abandoned, so welcome to the party lol(no pun intended). It is one of the best mods, yes, and I played it like 4-5 years ago, but it has its set of problems because of the well known bad core AI, that even this mod can't overcome and that killed it off for me like it did in every other TW game however good mods were, and no matter how much work and love modders put into it/them. CA just wasn't capable or cared to make semi-decent AI for this franchise to be what it should have been, unfortunatelly. Shame really. That goes for every single TW title. I wonder if someone would be able to use modern AI like Open AI, or ChatGPT and likes to work with TW titles, that would be interesting and maybe save TW as a whole, as bad CAI and BAI is core problem with it for most part. Lack of options and features is 2nd.
What about the naval side? Ive recently been playing Darthmod Fall of the Samurai campaign and boats don't explode all of the place. Making longer more engaging battles. Still not perfect but ive actually wanted to angage in naval battles. Cant remember vanilla but ive also had lots of land armies invade from the sea, making bulding defensive fleets extremely handy
This looks awesome, do the new battle maps have sufficient pathfinding? That was my issue with Strongholds of the Samurai, the maps were not designed for ultra unit sizes I think and were also easily exploitable.
Unfortunately the wako pirates are still bugged. When playing as Korea, when the wako pirates land an army in the south, they then will not move and cannot be attacked. When clicking anywhere near them it lag's to hell. Last time I got to this point before the update it would just crash the world.

Imo this is more realistic. A large army wouldn't just chill in a stronghold, they'd defend it from outside with support from the walls

A really good review of a genuinely interesting mod for a truly great TW game. I WILL check it out. Thank you.
Seeing alot of posts about this not working. Can anyone confirm? I want to play S2 for first time and this mod sounds like a must have!
I just bought shogun 2 on my M chip MacBook Air and have 90 hours on this mod it’s amazing and runs super well on high/ ultra graphic settings, I’m really confused about people saying it’s not working for them.
@@lemonyboi5844 the mod page is pretty confusing. There's so many sub-mods that I'm not sure if they're required or not. I just gave up in the end.
really like your presentation format
Could someone please post a collection with new instructions?
ghost of tsushima soundtrack, i don't mind :)
That ghost of tsushima soundtrack tho
Dev: "Okay, first, we remove Yari Wall."
*Screams are heard in the far distance*
Dev 2: "Did you hear that? It's as if millions of scrubs suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."
Now I need a Ghost of Tsushima OST mod for Shogun 2
also
>realism
>samurai don't primarily use bows, yari, or guns
>"katana samurai" is still present
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Is still working though? A lot of comments saying it’s not on Steam..
It works, I just strated playing.
@@TheMisiewicz it didn't for me. Everytime I start a campaign it will crash it out of the game.
Same, u found a solution?
@@frederikfoss4594 what is your mod order?
@@frederikfoss4594 no. It’s not working anymore.
And there goes my space on my SSD. Nice^^
Felt lol
Like the new format
Tried to install it cause it looks fire but anybody has the problem of most text not showing. Send help, please.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. 🤘
I’m just waiting for a mod that lets you use your custom general in the campaign
Been playing it for years (I was part of mod group for 2 of its predecessor mods Ran No Jidai)... but cant get it to work anymore. Any ideas?
What about the naval side? Ive recently been playing Darthmod Fall of the Samurai campaign and boats don't explode all of the place. Making longer more engaging battles. Still not perfect but ive actually wanted to angage in naval battles. Cant remember vanilla but ive also had lots of land armies invade from the sea, making bulding defensive fleets extremely handy
This looks awesome, do the new battle maps have sufficient pathfinding? That was my issue with Strongholds of the Samurai, the maps were not designed for ultra unit sizes I think and were also easily exploitable.
Pathfinding is decent enough for me :)
@@TheTerminatorGaming Thanks. I was a bit surprised that Steam says the last update for the mod was 2020. Maybe it was patched though.
Unfortunately the wako pirates are still bugged.
When playing as Korea, when the wako pirates land an army in the south, they then will not move and cannot be attacked. When clicking anywhere near them it lag's to hell.
Last time I got to this point before the update it would just crash the world.
Time to play shogun again
installing it! Thanks
I just wish all the clans were playable with this mod
how do you get mods to work at all, after that steam update to Shogun 2? i got the itch for some Shogun 2 last year ( so after the patch) and could not get any mods to work
Oh ? Very good want to come back to shogun but I also want something else from Darthmod which is nice but I also think some things are not compatible anymore maybe 🤔
Morning Sun mod keeps crashing once the wako pirates appear.
A real shame too. Such a great idea to include china and korea.
Woah, I just recently Bought Shogun 2 and I'm playing only the Expanded Japan. Now I'll just have to replace the mod from Expanded to MoS. Don't get me wrong even if I'm new to Shogun 2 but I'm not New to Total War. I've been Watching Pixelated Apollo's and Terminator's Channel
I watch Mr Smart Donkey when it comes to Shogun 2
he's a genius in this game. Thanks for recommending him.@@rainz4599
sick video! will give it at try! do you play normal or hard ? in the campagin ? what you recommend ?
