There are quite a few people who doesn't like this for some reason. Seeing new future units does kill some hype for them, sure. When ur a f2p player tho it's so much worse to see a unit that you a lot like comes out after someone who you thought you liked quite a bit.
I disagree on livestream. I never watch livestream. I get all of my data from their YT's posts & Twitter. I just have no desire of watching it when I can quickly read all official posts.

I think unlike other companies they rely on basic leaks and post on social media platforms, u notice how with every patch it’s almost like we get the leaks in steps, like what the character looks like, the play style, possible role, as it gets closer to the character release we get the possible damage calcs and if that character is one they really wanna sell I notice the buffs get changed based on the reactions of the leaks
Bro when I see people say they want to S6 a limited 5 star character I cannot comprehend that. I am willing to spend hundreds of dollars a month on a gacha to get as many new characters and their weapons as I can. But to S6 one character is a multi hundred to a multi thousand dollar investment. That is insane to me.
For reference. I heard someone spent $5,000 USD to S6 Jinhsi and R5 her weapon. And since weapon pulls are 100% guaranteed once you get a 5* weapon. I'm sure most of that money was spent on Jinhsi herself.
1.2 is a skip for me neither character is for me personally. Glad we get the guy for free because his play style is cool. For me I’m waiting till shorekeeper.
just my opinion but i enjoy the 5min presentation of their patches much more then a 1 hour livestream its short sweet an it gives me what i want without a bunch of cringe chibis trying to be funny

It's all about taste in the end... I mean I have 2 team right now. 1. Sword team : rover, sanhua, changli 2. Broad blade team : calcharo, jiyan, taoqi (I skip jinshi for getting changli) And after getting xiaolin yao, I'll get my 3rd team.. gauntlet team (xiaolin yao, yuan wu, ling yang)😂😂😂

glad xiangli yao is free (i need more men in the game!!!) so i can save in 1.2 since i’m really not interested in zhezhi . i might pull for his weapon but my pull luck hasn’t been good since jiyan so😢 the second they announced shorekeeper i knew i needed her, so i’m glad 1.2 is kinda break for F2P and those who do pay as well lol im currently saving to get jiyan c6 if they do a rerun for him. and genshu lin since i’m so DESPERATE for him to be playable…lol
I think they are still trying to figure out the livestream aspect of the version because how horrible the english counterpart did. They might also be short staffed because how big the game became. Let's hope they get better from v2.0 onwards

Ngl, I think Zheshi won’t sell well as Shorekeeper isn’t a glacial DPS where she will have the most value outside of Jinshi when Yawnwu is good and free. 1.2 will be a chill patch imo and low or stable on revenue and that’s okay. I’d be shocked if many whales s6. Shorekeeper will definitely be an S6 for me

I've never watched a gacha live stream in my life. They r such a waste of time, i like the way Kuro manages their marketing. Maybe add a few more minutes to actually explain the characters and patch, but a full live stream? Nah

Information about upcoming units can be delivered in many ways, doesn't have to be livestream. One alternative is leaks.

i'd recomend saving for shorekeeper and her weapon. first limited healer will be busted and her weapon will be too
