Lana is so laaaame, Clark definitely shoulda thrown her horse. - song is white flag by dido - The voices are so high because of the screen recorder I used to get this clip.
No one can touch Smallville. Hands down greatest show. These videos make me sad to think how much we as well as "Clark, lex etc.." have gotten. Wish we could go back 😞
*Smallville had so much going for it, great main actor, great supporting actors, good stories, good acting, great music, great on screen couple, good special effects, good action, good writing, and so on. This series is one of the only ones that make me feel Nostalgic.*
Great scene from smallville. Clark was ready to raise the white flag because he loved her so much he had let her go knowing he could never reveal his secret to her. Its such an heart felt part. Thanks smallville for giving us such great entertainment for 10 years.
I had the biggest crush on Tom as Clark Kent...Tom Welling has aged very FINE and seems like a great guy all around. His future wife Jessica Rose Lee is very lucky to have him as a husband :)
This relationship was so frustrating, I don't think I can remember any time they were actually together. Just like 5 years of this frustrating bullshit.
I feel like if people didnt already know before hand that Clark was going to end up with Lois, then fewer people would be looking for petty excuses to hate Lana. Sure Lana isnt perfect, but neither is anybody else on this show
Okay, and I'm sure some people can relate to Lana's imperfections too. My point is people judge her for stupid reasons and yet still love other characters who make the exact same mistakes that she does
This show is so good, as a kid I only watched S1 and S2, but now as an adult I realized the show becomes top from S3 when is about Clark, his secrets, the Luthors, etc
I'm their age, this takes me back. By the way this always pissed me off when Clark wouldn't tell Lana his secret out of fear of her looking at him like a monster. The irony of that is when Lana does find out she becomes even more devoted to him. Ayyy Clark 🤦♂
This was pretty much the end of the Lana and Clark relationship. After this episode it was very forced. I remember seeing this episode, feels like it was just yesterday. Here we are 13 years later. Holy shit time flies
Oh LOL,calling clark and lana forced is beyond blindness. I can understand u didnt like them, but saying their are forced is just trying to manipulate the reality of the show. Besides if they were forced, what about clark and lois? How would u call them? What term would u use for something that really is forced, since u said forced about something that is everything BUT forced.
Vincenzo Elias it was forced, you can deny it all you want but after season 3 they didn't have the same chemistry. The first couple episodes of season 5 you could see it once again but it quickly faded
Dude, chemistry doesnt change through the years, the relationship does. Maybe they werent close anymore like in the first seasons, but their chemestry was always there and wheter they were distant or not, anytime they had a scene it was genuine and sure things it was not forced. TW and KK even got nominated for their chemistry. I think ur most likely referring to their relationship, and yeah in season 3 they are distant and same for most season 4,but the character are written like that, the actors still had the chemistry simply cause chemistry does NOT fade away.
Vincenzo Elias chemistry does change I'm sorry to break it to you. When they got back together in season 7 that spark from the early seasons was gone.
The Oliver queen and Lois scene with the arrow and the soda can is by far the best scene 😩 this scene is nice but ugh I recommend y’all watch that one!
the thing is he broke up with her because he wanted to protect her,,, and hey look what happened later on???? oh yeah, HE STILL CHASED HER down and WANTED her! yeah, so his break up was only words !
i completely agree with you...i think not having clark and lana together in the end was a BIG injustice to the storyline of SMALLVILLE. if they didn't "have" to follow the superman mythology its obvious clark and lana would've been together...
jacksonfan4life123 I think the writers should've made Clark tell her in like season 3 the long stretch was annoying af like Clark knew he could trust her smh
Precisely! The fact that Clark "loved" her YEARS before they ever actually interacted with each other is a pretty big red flag. Love at first sight is great and all but it has to be backed up with really getting to know the person and loving them for everything that they are. Clark never did so. Lana herself first brought that up in S2, and it was mentioned again throughout S7, which is pretty concrete proof that this isn't just a short-term, easily fixed problem in their relationship. cont...
cont.. to friends-with-sexual-tension to lovers and eventually to husband and wife (almost, anyway). The shifts in their relationship were subtle but significant (see the end of Oracle, the end of Zod, their conversation in Siren) and to paraphrase Helen Keller, once Clark quit staring at a long-closed door, he found that Lois was more compatible in every way. Their morals are the same, they trusts each implicitly and believe in each other without any hesitance, and she makes him laugh.
The show itself literally tells you that she didn't choose Lex, she was just vulnerable and wanted to make Clark mad. As for Bizarro, she never picked him over Clark.
She was never worthy of him ... his secret isn't his darkness, we all have such dragons within, the secret is his alien-ness. He's not human, he can never be truly human. That is why the superman myth appeals to every generation.
...greatest, just look back at the first 3 seasons at what a great show this was, and where it could ahve gone, i wish the enxt 7 season had just been a nightmare, regardless of some of the good episodes, but regardless, no episodes were as good as the series' first 3 seasons. it had potential to have an epic ending, come on, Lex becoming baddie, becoming Clark's enemy, Clark becoming Superman, the epic ending, come on. And we got, Lex getting amnesia, and a cartoon Superman.
worst thing when clana leaves from smallvile (season 8) is nest episode is like nothing happened.i mean wtf clark should be devastated next 2/3 episodes
Gracias!
I agree, in superman they are soulmates. But this is Smallville and an objective person would agree that Lana is much better. Clois happened so fast that it seemed force. Clana was developed over time and were so sweet together :D This is my opinion of course. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Lois, I like her character but in SMALLVILLE with Clark she had more of a brotherhood relationship rather than a romance one.
...turned this way. even with the good episodes they had, none were as good as the first 3 seasons, but the show it turned out to be much later was no where comparable to what it used to be. and i miss it so bad. 10 years you know. that's heartbreaking. i bet the producers will feel ashamed for the rest of their lives.
@Supereyes27 might have taken itself a little too seriously, but i liked it nonetheless, however i came to loathe lana later. but take this scene for instance, in the video, this is essential Smallville, the cinematography, lighting, shading, music, and drama. that's what i missed about this show.
But eventually, he would have to tell her, so when that moment arrived, Lana would hate him for lying like that. What he SHOULD'VE done is tell her the truth sooner.
If there is a moment Clark should have told her everything... this was it ! we give a lot of crap to Lana because she wanted to know the real Clark... but we forget that Clark kept coming at her with his dreamy loving eyes and his obvious lies... bro was torturing her for month before that and he tortured her for years after...
@Supereyes27 really?? cuz the first 3 seasons was just about clark and lana.. and was pretty much just a dawsons creek with superman.. yea they were great seasons... but it wasn't really completely about superman etc..
I came across this video, it's really sad for me to go back and see what a great show this used to be and how it turned out, which was a total disaster, and man, did it never stop, it would always get worse and worse...i accepted lois, the justice league, and metropolis, working at the DP, but let's face it, the show didn't need that, they shouldn't have gone there. it was so much better like this, i mean the drama, not that i would have wanted the direction to go on Lana, but she could hav left
It's what happens on a pirated copy. Another theory is that they did it so that you can feel a difference in age when you watch this, then a scene from season 10.
21 years later and Smallville is still my favourite show of all time
Same.

21 years.... Am I so damn old?
No one can touch Smallville. Hands down greatest show. These videos make me sad to think how much we as well as "Clark, lex etc.." have gotten. Wish we could go back 😞
The acting in Smallville was genuinely good. I miss that series.
Yes, they had really good actors, and mrs. Kent was Lana Lang in the Superman movie.
Same 😢
@@michaelzimmerman8959 True. Christopher Reeve was also later in series.

This and Chuck have AMAZING soundtracks. If you haven't seen Chuck, I strongly suggest watching it.
You're absolutely right
Por esos años yo venía de ver la serie X Files,y cuando terminó,me pregunte y que voy a mirar ahora, Smallville llego a mí vida
Smallville very good show graphic good
They need to bring Smallville back on
Great scene from smallville. Clark was ready to raise the white flag because he loved her so much he had let her go knowing he could never reveal his secret to her. Its such an heart felt part. Thanks smallville for giving us such great entertainment for 10 years.
Well said!
My #1 favourite series of ALL time! #TakeMeBack
IMO, there has never been a human walking this Earth as perfectly beautiful as Tom Welling. Simply breathtaking. Could stare at him all day long.
Well put...I only watched Lucifer 3 because of Tom Welling otherwise the show's story line and writing was pretty silly and stupid. lol
I had the biggest crush on Tom as Clark Kent...Tom Welling has aged very FINE and seems like a great guy all around. His future wife Jessica Rose Lee is very lucky to have him as a husband :)

Miss this show

The early seasons were so "normal" yet not normal...
Which episode of Season 3 is this from? I know it must be right after Exodus.

That "You never had to try" Damn, right in the feels
Exactly
What she meant by that

Great acting by Lana.
The music…. This show had some of the best. Gives me nostalgia everytime

im in season 7 right now, STILL happening. i hate their toxic relationship

I’d forgotten how good Smallville is… great show!
tom is LITERALLY the most gorgeous and perfect human being
"this will never work"
"you never had to try"
I wish he said "OH B, YES I DID, REMEMBER WHITNEY?!?!"
Tom Welling has prettier hair than most women do.
Mr Pantene
Tom Welling is prettier than most women
Jajajaja stupid and sensual Tom Welling
The best scene of Smallville by the dialogue, environment, the moment, and beautiful song.
I feel like if people didnt already know before hand that Clark was going to end up with Lois, then fewer people would be looking for petty excuses to hate Lana. Sure Lana isnt perfect, but neither is anybody else on this show
Uhm Lois was perfect on this show...
Eve Sav i would still dislike lana if lois never showed up
Eve Sav In what way was she perfect? She even said herself on the final episode that she was imperfect
Her imperfections made her relatable
Okay, and I'm sure some people can relate to Lana's imperfections too. My point is people judge her for stupid reasons and yet still love other characters who make the exact same mistakes that she does
Every time I hear this song I think about this episode . Best show ever !
One of the best scenes from Smallville! What a show! Great actors, well made show!
This has been one of my favorite scenes for years. 😭
doo doo
One of the best scenes of Smallville by the emotions of each one and the song of Dido is great
Ayo, This Relationship Was More Frustrating Than Any Single One I’ve Ever Been. 6 Years Of Me Pulling My Hair Out Lol Smh
Clark had good parents no doubt. And he grew up well too. He became strong on the inside.
We all gotta make some painful choices every now and then.
Damn you nostalgia now I gotta rewatch a few episodes probably a few seasons.
Tom Welling, when Smallville started, was about 25 and was playing a character 10 years his junior. ;)
Literally used this to break up with a toxic girlfriend. Seriously his words word for word and it worked!
"I will go down with this ship". same girl same here
perfect title, truly.
This show was a masterpiece
"White Flag" song by Dido
"You never had to try."

my god they looks so young here! but still. he's bloody gorgeous.

LMAO, I just read the description. xD
"Clark definitely shoulda thrown her horse."
