No disrespect to RE but does anyone realise that RE had to go beyond 600cc to compete with the existing fast beasts in the market, varying between 200cc to 400cc 🤔😬🍺 Can RE refine the ongoing 350cc or 500cc engines? 😋
Royal Enfield doesn't make sports bikes bro idk what u talking about they r not competing with any bike brands they don't have any competitor in the market which produce these kinds of market there r just few bikes like these which are Triumph Street twin, Kawasaki w800, Nd Moto guzzi. Nd all these bikes r not fast they have more torque long stroke engine nd very compression ratio if u looking for fast bikes get something else these kinds of bike cost 4 times more
Rajender Thakur agreed bro. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 👍🏼🙂 I myself being a loyal RE fan and owner just wanted to bring up one point that in the cruiser segment as well RE lacked top speed and somehow to get the bar raised, increasing total cc and coming up with twin cylinder was the option RE must have felt.
Well, Honda actually makes a 670cc parallel twin engine that makes 52 horsepower - they use it on the NC700X. From what I understand, this engine is quite similar mechanically speaking to that. Low compression ratio means that the piston pressure is lower, and the higher bore means it revs lower. However, that results in pretty good torque output. Basically, RE can pretty easily increase power output if they trade cylinder bore for stroke (thereby increasing the redline), and if they increase the compression ratio from 9.5:1 to something higher. But, they don’t need to do that because this is adequately powerful given the market segment this bike is filling. Basically, it’s not that RE can’t make this engine significantly more powerful, it’s that they chose to make a horsepower trade off for increased torque, lower cylinder wear, and higher reliability and fuel economy.

Can you also point out the huge delivery delays that are happening in case of Interceptor by Royal Enfield. The company keeps saying that there is a huge unexpected demand but in reality either production is not happening or they are focusing on first exporting the product out of country rather than selling it here in India. I have been waiting since 4th December 2018 to get delivery of my bike. Please raise the issue of delay in deliveries on your channel.
Old time bulleteer here. Have one from the 70's. (Am not that old though). Then I added a modern B 500. I also paid an advance and almost made a booking for the Himalayan - after all the noise they made about how it had been tested in Wales and The Himalayas. Then saw the squeaking shocks, peeling plating, lackluster finish and things falling off and 'coming in your hand'. It was a huge disappointment. So, when the tank cap 'came in your hand' it reminded me of my experience with my B500 and the rides on the Himalayan (friend's)- things often 'come in your hand' if you have a bullet. Now, when this one has come with a bang, I hope the bang stays. Like Faisal said, the Japanese need to arrive quickly at the scene. It will benefit the industry, the economy and most importantly the bikers. All the best RE.

Still can't afford it! I'm BPL 😂😂
Don't belittle what you don't afford. That doesn't make a difference to the matter but it can affect your character.
@@aakashsandhu2165 lol, it was a complement to that bike. Second part of your comment, I couldn't understand
I love the enthusiam of the reviewer......Great looking bike and nice to hear they have got a lot of features in and the ride is good... ....great!
2:29 dope bike.
Were you talking about the TVS Radeon ?
@@DhanilVira yes. 😂
@@DhanilVira that bike is like *miracle*.
Its good for price but
For a 650cc hp in 40s
That's a shame..
Royal Enfield is a lifestyle and it shows in there showroom look how well it's designed with right placement of bikes and now the 650 twins are also just fabulous
Faisal sir when are you going to review the continental GT 650
Royal Enfield buyers will continue the legacy of buying unrefined bikes and sales figure prove so 😑 out of 45000 bikes per month 37000 are 350 . This bike will fail too RIP IN ADVANCE TO TWINS😥DIMAG SE SOCHO BIKE HAI HATHI YA KUTTA NHI😂
No dude, re sells around 44,000 classic 350 every month, and around 13,000 standard. Totall, they sells around 74000 units
hooka and khaat I am talking about there regular sales and you're talking about November sales which is actually 65744 check the article below:-P www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.thehindubusinessline.com/companies/royal-enfield-sales-down-to-65744-units-in-november/article25655695.ece/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwje96DS6pTfAhUKU30KHQKkAIsQFjAKegQIBRAB&usg=AOvVaw18pBL6QsBYJI-1D6L3o380&cf=1
I think this bike is designed with an eye on the export market US and Europe waiting eagerly for its release next year
@@captainaverage721 are there re dealerships in your country?
@@hookaandkhaat4041 Think i answered your question in a different thread yes RE have been selling bikes in the UK since about 1902!!!👍
For the first time, I couldn't see you rev the hell out of engine post red line. Thanks for the review. It was good.
Don't scream when you are vloging.
Bro, This is the next best thing in Motorcycling in India after the Ahead of its time Yamaha RD350. I did miss the bus at that age to own a RD 350 but this review of Yours has surely made up my mind to buy this... Thanks a lot for bringing back the biking enthusiasm in a 45 year old me. 😘👍

Booked i650. City commute is more then highway commute.
First time test ride & got in love with the bike.
So, should I go for it or cancel it?!?!?
