You're getting into one of the Cadillacs of US test equipment, but the problem, is those pesky custom ICs. Tektronix is just as bad, but you've got to love those boat anchors.
    Keep your fingers crossed.

What a sweet old sig gen! I've seen some mad old lads at the radio club use similar lower frequency one with a speccy to test their custom made antennas.

No. Those little solder in caps are not equivalent to the big screw terminal caps. The ripple current ratings will be very different. If you want long life out of power supply filter caps the ripple current ratings need to be adequate.

I have a similar one 8671A which covers 2-6.2 GHz, not as fancy as yours. These are excellent RF synthesizers!

They are great until you need to pick it up to move it LOL.

Love the vids BUT the red dots by the video titles are Horrendous..
Red is not conducive for chilling and watching a video.
    Psychology 101.

BUT the red dots help to draw attention to the video and get people to click on it in the first place, that is why I use them, youtube is a very competitive place and whatever video catches the eye is the one that gets clicked on, the others don’t get seen.

@@TheDefpom Personally I don't mind the red dot. When I watch the video the video content is what is keeping my attentionespeically in full screen mode.
