It can make you feel sexualized at a young age which can feel good at first, but then can cause feelings of being used later on. Of being exploited. It can also cause self esteem issues after a relationship like that ends, because why and how it ends will typically be much different than two teens splitting. Plus when you get to whatever age they were, and see people at the age you were, that can cause all kinds of fuckery also.

With the power dynamic being heavily in the teacher's favor, this is seen as coercion and is treated as statutory rape (same with inmates and prison guards).
It's simple, if it's not ok and illegal for a grown man to have sex with a minor, than it's also not ok if a women does this. Kids at that age during puberty have increased amounts of hormones and are easily sexual groomed, so the abusers don't need a lot of effort to get what they want. She crossed a significant boundary as a teacher. They are there to provide safety for the teens and kids. Imagine the backlash if a professor slept with a 16-year-old girl. As a freshman in high school in the United States, my English teacher took a particular interest in me, which some of my classmates observed. Throughout my life, when explaining this to others, if some men reacted negatively, I would suggest they consider the situation from a different perspective, as you recommended. I have lost my ability to feel a deep commitment to a woman because I lost my trust in the sanctity of a true relationship. As a result I have chosen to withdraw from social interactions rather than passing on the hurt and betrayal I felt as a young man to women who deserve better.
