I had tear in my eyes when I watched this, not only because it was obviously The End, but as an older self now, I could feel those childhood sunday night 8pm's eating dinner laying on my stomach in front of the TV, running to the bathroom in between breaks and coming just on time to not miss a single second, then later in the week rewatching the episodes with the same zeal and passion, I just miss those times...
When I saw this for the first time, I cried my eyes out watching the ending, especially when Jeremy disconnected his microphone and Hammond and May gave him handshakes. Truly the end of a legendary era in television history. 😢😭💔
May deleting their contacts while I'm still crying was the best way to finish this. Thank you, James. For one final bit of happiness in an ocean of happiness you've given us over the last 20 years.
I dont know what to say i jsut cant discribe how grateful i am for every second i had fun and laugh with them no words will ever be enough . Thank you ❤
The scene that left many a grown man crying. Even if they weren’t showing tears, they were still crying inside. For this was the end of the greatest trio……………………………………. In the world
I can only remember the last tent episode, where Jeremy cried... The fact that the bbc denied them a proper goodbye, and that somehow this was a wrap from all that... Man,that was hard
They inspired generations of car enthusiasts, myself included. We can never thank them enough. I grew up watching these 3, ill grow old rewatching top gear & grand tour. Cheers lads
The perfect send-off for the trio that inspired a gearhead like me to be as passionate as they are, from telling us about the best driving roads to friendly banter, to specials like these... truly rhe greatest trio *pause* in the world. Thank you, Clarkson, Hammond, and May.
This scene is heavy but it's a proper send off for the trio. Who has entertain and make us laugh hard for the past 20 years. Will miss them and I hope Amazon can allow those staying in Asia to rewatch Top gear.
I remember watching these guys when I was 4 years old with my dad and now they have ended an era thank you Clarkson Hammond and may for being a part of my childhood and making me love cars
Nothing will ever come close to this, best program on telly ever best three characters ever, a truly sad and touching time, thanks you for all the years of entertainment.
I remember being about 11-12 watching Top Gear for the first time and now being a 32 year old watching the last episode with the best trio………..in the world
This isn't just the end of The Grand Tour: it's the end of an unmatchable, untouchable and unrepeatable part of our culture, the likes of which we will never, ever see again.
Couldn't think of a better send-off. The special hit all the highlights of what they've ever done, didnt feel too overly produced, and ended where it all began.
What a great ending and a throwback to the top gear episode. There is one difference in this to the top gear for them driving across the salt plains. Hammond didnt like his car as much, he was actually willing to take parts of it.
Farewell James, Hammond, & Clarkson for all the motoring journeys that makes me interested May u 3 star legends not be forgotten the whole time & remembered
This should start with the intro of the song and the first shot of the cars driving across the deset. It's not the final scene, it's the final scene with the beginning cut out.
Love these guys♥️so so funny made me laugh till I cried😢the very best of tv entertainment👌🏼what a trio👱🏼♂️👱👱it’s been an absolute pleasure for us too👋
I loved the last episode so much I wanted to watch the Botswana special first and then watch the final episode just to see them go on the salt pans once more for possibly the last time
This is not only an end of an era for this show an the memories attached to it. It is the end of an era for real motoring, just as Jeremy rightfully states in 1.10.00 of the show. We will shortlly drive 'washing machines' instead of proper cars..I'm getting old...
@@solracer66when they left Top Gear, Top Gear was over for me. The Trio is what made the show… I personally won’t watch any future iteration of the show that doesn’t involve them. Not my cup of tea.
Hey. morning gentlemen's Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond and James May i'm Thankful for putting Top Gear on again on UA-cam because I did ask very much if There is more bring it on Jeremy look after you Health before working on your farm I don't know what Richard Hammond doing with he's life at the moment I no for sure with James May doing know exploring California road trip I must go to him now a fantastic day for your guys Want ever you're up to enjoy it a lot guys bye🙏😉
Must have been very awkward after this dramatic parting when they all met up at the airport the next day because they'd all booked the same flight back to England.
Who would think a man in his 40s would get a lump in his throat after watching the last episode of a show he’s watched over 20 years. It’s dusty in here!
It’s sad to know that they’re be no more Grand Tour. They’re all getting older, especially Jeremy and can mo longer do the things they used to do. I have watched every episode of Grand Tour more than once, still laugh at Fxxk ups 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 Hopefully Amazon continues with Jeremy’s farm
I'm not crying, you are 😭
😭
Me Too 😭😭😭😭
Me too 😭😭😭😭
Im crying because I'm the producer Jeremy punched.
Yes we are😭
I had tear in my eyes when I watched this, not only because it was obviously The End, but as an older self now, I could feel those childhood sunday night 8pm's eating dinner laying on my stomach in front of the TV, running to the bathroom in between breaks and coming just on time to not miss a single second, then later in the week rewatching the episodes with the same zeal and passion, I just miss those times...
What adverts on the bbc?
Even after watching this for the sixth time, it still hits hard.
This show means so much for me.
A simple thank you is not enough for what these 3 have done. They deserve so much more.
I dont know what to say i jsut cant discribe how grateful i am for every second i had fun and laugh with them no words will ever be enough . Thank you ❤
The comparison to the old Top Gear scenes is just perfect.
Those transitions are painfully beautiful
They inspired generations of car enthusiasts, myself included. We can never thank them enough. I grew up watching these 3, ill grow old rewatching top gear & grand tour. Cheers lads
This is the perfect send off.
The perfect send-off for the trio that inspired a gearhead like me to be as passionate as they are, from telling us about the best driving roads to friendly banter, to specials like these... truly rhe greatest trio *pause* in the world.
Thank you, Clarkson, Hammond, and May.
the flashes between the current scene and old Top Gear special made the water works come out 😭time really moves that fastt
Try not to be sad it's over, be glad you were able to experience most/if not all of it!!
End of an era.
*CLARKSONNNNNNN*
The three best and most iconic motoring history, and it will REMAIN that way. Thanks boys! 😢
That was the hardest 2 minutes of TV to watch that I've ever experienced... well earned, well deserved
Crazy
This scene is heavy but it's a proper send off for the trio.
Who has entertain and make us laugh hard for the past 20 years.
Will miss them and I hope Amazon can allow those staying in Asia to rewatch Top gear.
This hits hard, end of an era that gave so much beautiful memories...
Ok.. it’s been weeks and still get choked up.
When their did the first episode. You see Hammond and may join him. For the grand tour. And seeing then spilt at the end made me tearly
Thanks gentlemen for everything you guys ever did for motoring and for TV.. thank you all for everything!
im crying so hard Right now, they were my childhood, adolescence and now that im rewatching everything they will be also my adulthood
Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened
I remember being about 11-12 watching Top Gear for the first time and now being a 32 year old watching the last episode with the best trio………..in the world
I can't stop watching this AND crying. Thank you Brotherhood. Brothers In Arms❤❤❤❤❤
This isn't just the end of The Grand Tour: it's the end of an unmatchable, untouchable and unrepeatable part of our culture, the likes of which we will never, ever see again.
Cried when they repeated the scene where they first appeared on the flats all those years ago
this scene hurts till this day
Loved this scene. Thanks for sharing the memories with us!
i rememeber i didn't cry until they parted in different directions, there i completely lose it, and i think ill never recover
One last time 😢
Almost teared up at the end of this episode. Watched every single episode of Top Gear and Grand tour. They will be missed. Farewell! 🇺🇸😉
One of the most soul-crushing things I've ever watched. But stiff upper lip lads, thank you for the past and all the best for the future.
watch this like 10 times still not enough, really miss the trios
Couldn't think of a better send-off. The special hit all the highlights of what they've ever done, didnt feel too overly produced, and ended where it all began.
A truly inspiring and depressing scene all together! 😢
What a great ending and a throwback to the top gear episode. There is one difference in this to the top gear for them driving across the salt plains. Hammond didnt like his car as much, he was actually willing to take parts of it.
This final episode was FOR US, just brilliant 🎉
I miss them. 😢
When it first flashed back to the original Top Gear footage at Kubu Island, I felt a physical drop in my stomach.
Just perfect, the whole way they finished this era
". . . . And on that final and emotional bombshell, goodbye!!"
It was a sad day when I watched this scene, and a very difficult rewatch. The soundtrack was the final nail in the coffin
Wow… that got me all over again 🥲🫶
two songs I want at my funeral, Hot House Flowers I can see clearly now, and Brothers in Arms
Farewell James, Hammond, & Clarkson for all the motoring journeys that makes me interested
May u 3 star legends not be forgotten the whole time & remembered
Not sure what was more emotional. The Grand Tour opening scene, or the closing.
Thank you the 3 greatest car show presenters of all time they where the best and where the last to fall of the all time greats
I was holding it together until the handshake. That broke me
The end of an era, car programme wont ever be the same without them
The climax was tough to watch as this was a perfect finale. When brothers in arms dropped it really hit me in feels😢.
Many thought their shows would end before they split. I'm glad they get to end their partnership in their own terms.
This should start with the intro of the song and the first shot of the cars driving across the deset. It's not the final scene, it's the final scene with the beginning cut out.
The best programme in the world
I'm not crying, you are
Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 was the perfect ending...😢
Love these guys♥️so so funny made me laugh till I cried😢the very best of tv entertainment👌🏼what a trio👱🏼♂️👱👱it’s been an absolute pleasure for us too👋
They surely must have felt it.
all I can say is thank you.
Thanks for the memories guys we gonna miss this idiots together
I loved the last episode so much I wanted to watch the Botswana special first and then watch the final episode just to see them go on the salt pans once more for possibly the last time
Should of had James yelling "CLARKSON!!!!!!" at the end as the screen faded
They're not just a production team, they're a family.
This is not only an end of an era for this show an the memories attached to it. It is the end of an era for real motoring, just as Jeremy rightfully states in 1.10.00 of the show. We will shortlly drive 'washing machines' instead of proper cars..I'm getting old...
Wow just Wow
so does that mean they're not coming on?
I hope Richard will continue to work with Prime
It’s hard to say goodbye.
Please don't say bye 😢
Jeremy couldn't say it, just unplugged the mic ( absolutely devastating moment for him, and for everybody) 3:30
Vin Diesel: *One last Ride*
Jeremy Clarkson: *One last bombshell*
Motoring shows will never be the same now
Best era for motor vehicles-1989 to 2011
E34 5 series first year-e90 3 series final year.
I still haven’t watched the special. Not because I don’t want to… just not ready for the Tour to end yet 😢
The show isn't ending but Amazon has its work cut out for them in how to continue it without the Trio...
@@solracer66when they left Top Gear, Top Gear was over for me. The Trio is what made the show… I personally won’t watch any future iteration of the show that doesn’t involve them. Not my cup of tea.
The end of my childhood😞😞😞
The Last One EVER 😢 absolutely heartbreaking 😢
And, who will do the best introduction for Aston Martin now ? Guys you’re selfish lol
Hey. morning gentlemen's Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond and James May i'm Thankful for putting Top Gear on again on UA-cam because I did ask very much if There is more bring it on Jeremy look after you Health before working on your farm I don't know what Richard Hammond doing with he's life at the moment I no for sure with James May doing know exploring California road trip I must go to him now a fantastic day for your guys Want ever you're up to enjoy it a lot guys bye🙏😉
Well done fellas🤝
Is this really the end guys? Very sad to see you go!!! All the best for the future!!!
Must have been very awkward after this dramatic parting when they all met up at the airport the next day because they'd all booked the same flight back to England.
I miss the crazies
Hope a grand tour reunion 2025 in a clarkson farm special
I feel a little empty from within.
They were presenter on Top Gear Before right?
What does that tree mean?
I'm sad because i wasn't that generation 😭😭😭😭
Who would think a man in his 40s would get a lump in his throat after watching the last episode of a show he’s watched over 20 years. It’s dusty in here!
Now it looks like we are in the era of EVs.
Until then.....
