    I'm glad that you made it to Japan, a place with such beautiful aesthetics and so amazingly different storically and culturally speaking, but at the same time, a place and a culture we find ourselves - at times and on certain aspects - unexpectedly rhyme quite closely (and we cannot figure out why, how). Saluti affettuosi dall'Italia.

    Hi, I lived in Japan from 2003-2004 teaching English as a Foreign Language. I lived south of Kyoto on the train line between Osaka and Kyoto. I spent my weekends going mostly to Kyoto. The Path of Philosophy Walk is delightful with the cherry blossoms and maple leaves. when my friend and I walked in the Cherry Blossom Season we went up to Ginkaku-ji (The Silver Pavillion) as well. At that end part of the canal the blossom had collected in the canal forming a pink carpet. That was wonderful. The fall I experienced was a dry season so it was very pleasant indeed to have still bright days. I'm going to check out your other video with Chion-In Temple and the evening hanami parties. I loved Yasaka shine as well.

      Yeah, I just thought I'd try something new. I think it might be a little unclear for new viewers when they click on my videos expecting a walking tour, and then they hear music and see drone video. I thought I'd try to make it clear from the beginning, that this is a walking tour video and that my intro was actually just an intro, and not what the entire video will be. What do you think? Intro or no Intros? Should I just go straight to the walk?

    I have walked this path two times now and I see new things each times. Love the cherry blooms, it is such a favourite sight. I enjoyed seeing the shines too, so much history. It prompts me to investigate the history of the region. Glad you got some lunch too, the beef bun sounds yummy.

      I posted a second version of the walk up for members. I filmed it a few days earlier. It is a nice walk as well...although, just about the same. :) Yeah, I needed some food at that point. I always just grab something quick and keep going. Although, when I got my coffee, I sat by the bridge with my legs hanging over the canal wall and just relaxed for a bit.

      @@ProWalks I couldn't believe how much you had already done before this filming of Philosophers Walk. Glad you took in the ambience of it all; blossoms, people, food, ancient bridges and provided details of the rituals involved, (I really liked the lion sculpture you zoomed in on). The blossoms are really pretty. I hope some petals fell on you for good luck. Lol.😁

    Japan like a girl: young and beautiful..
    I'm pretty bored by Rio, so I surprised to see here new video from Japan!
    This is my dream to visit and to live in Japan. I love people, culture of this country. After all what happens in the world, I just want to disappear or just to escape to Japan. To see this nature beauty, to feel this calm, to walk on the streets, to see sakura at spring or temples in the orange forests... It's better than live in Ukraine now...
    It's pretty exhausting.
    But more over I'm suffering by my own life and mental problems.
    I really tired. I just need to breathe...I'm tired of my loneliness. I'm tired of mess all over my life. I can't finish this pain, thoughts, I can't handle with my life...
    I don't know what love is and I'm tired by my anxiety. Just want to disappear...
    At this moment, I want to thank you for this calm video...sometimes we need this.. even if it calm us only for a time... Japan I need every time...

      @@ProWalks For me, it would be better if you used your own voice, if you want to do a spoken intro. Is this new one AI or real?

    • @ProWalks
      @ProWalks  27 днів тому +2

      It's AI. Originally, I used the AI voice just a model to hear how it would sound and give me something to work from. I tried for over an hour to record my own voice but it just wasn't going well. In the end, I just went with the AI voice because I thought it sounded good. I will try my own again on the next video.

    • @nebbs
      @nebbs 27 днів тому

      @@ProWalks Either your own voice, or just let the intro video do the talking (which has worked great till now). AI voice sounds a bit weird, but quite realistic for AI (the pronunciation of 'canopy' was what threw me off.

      @@ProWalks another fun option (that unfortunately requires more work) could be finding a local willing to do so and able to intelligibly read English, have the intro read to "you" (her/him in front of the camera, "live") at the beginning, and then start the explorarion. Maybe, from time to time, it could be feasible

      Well, after an hour of trying to do it myself and getting frustrated..I went with an AI voice that reminded me of the guy from How It's Made. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it though. I'm going to try something similar on this next video. The main idea is, I just want it to be clear to new viewers that this is a walking tour video and not some music video.....since my videos almost always start with music.
