probably what we love the most about the queens market is that you are able to see how every cook from every culture makes magic in their stoves bringing the world a little bit closer to everyone
Although i havent been to very many i just love international food fairs/markets. So much diverse food cultures in one place. Another great vlog guys x
We love them too Kellie! It’s neat to have all the different cultures under one roof 😄 thanks for watching and commenting mate, so happy you enjoyed this one. Cheers, Sheena
We truly didn't want to leave MsKestrela! The night market was brilliant- loved seeing all those happy faces enjoying the food. Thanks for watching this one and we hope you enjoy the rest of the series 😀 Have a brilliant day! Cheers, Sheena 😘
😍😍😍 awesome Wouter Veraart! Did you have a great trip?! We loved NYC so much- it had been so long since our last visit that everything felt new. So happy you enjoyed this one, thanks for watching mate! Cheers, Sheena
Chasing a Plate - Thomas & Sheena Still in NYC, so I have still time left to enjoy some wonderful food! For me it was also a long time since I was in NYC. Nice to see the changes and try out new stuff!
😍😍😍😍 so happy we finally got to visit guys! And it was the perfect end to our first day getting to hang out with you guys! 👊 hope you enjoyed this one! Cheers, Sheena
You guys did an incredible job capturing the vibe of this wonderful night market that we go to so often and you chose some of the best stalls out there that night! Loved that we met you here for the first time, too!
Thanks so much guys! It was such a fun one to film even though we were slightly loopy from jet lag 😝 we can see why you guys love it- what a cool thing to have in your neighbourhood! 😍
Wow! An incredible vlog and introduction to the Queens Night Market. I’ll surely be adding it to my list of must-do’s for my next trip to NYC. Thanks for taking us along. 😃
So glad you were able to check it out via our video Michael! It was such a great night- everyone was so happy, all the vendors were friendly and the diversity in food was brilliant. Thanks for watching and commenting mate. Cheers, Sheena P.S I am totally making Marie’s Crisis a tradition each time we return to NYC- what a cool place! 😍
Chasing a Plate - Thomas & Sheena Oh man their mohinga is next level!! They only sold it during a special Winter pop-up and we went twice because it was so good!
Thank you so much for first featuring Queens, which is under represented in food media despite its higher concentration of varied and dishes more likely eaten by the corresponding ethnic communities, in your first ever video of New York City. Although I am technically a Manhattanite by birth, in my heart, I will always be a Queens girl and proud of this New York City borough and the collective goal of the Queens Night Market. Great choices of stalls selected-- Burmese Bites, Cambodian Now, Hello Moon Man, Karl's Balls, and Treat Yourself Jerk! I hope the trek was worth it.
More than worth it Julie!! Thanks so much for eating with us that night 😍 we had such a great time filming. We were so blown away by Queens, we really don’t understand why it’s under represented- it seems ludicrous to us! Can’t wait to return to explore more of the borough- we’re well and truly addicted! Thanks for watching and commenting 😘 Cheers, Sheena
Loved this video and can’t believe we have never visited this Night Market even though we live on a subway ride away in Manhattan. Those Takoyaki @ Karl’s Balls looks amazing! Can’t wait to try them!
We didn’t want to leave Kevin Velasco!! We had an incredible time eating and filming! Thanks for watching and commenting on this one, hope you enjoy the rest of the series mate! Cheers, Sheena
The vlogger @5:00 appears to be the one and only person not enjoying the market. 😂 Hope the takoyaki tasted as delicious as they looked. Damn. Excellent video, guys. New York is impossible to cover in one visit obviously but I have a feeling you two gave it a good go. Your research and instincts are top-notch. Really looking forward to seeing what you were able to discover and crossing fingers you hit up some of my favorites!
Loved your comment. I actually out of curiosity had to go back to 5:00 to see what you meant. His lady friend holding the camera is definitely not enjoying her time there!! Well spotted 👍. I second your appreciation of the research and history these two put into each video, it is very well done.☺
🤣🤣🤣🤣 we had a giggle over that too Tosh! Those takoyaki were brilliant- Karl was saying he massages the octopus for about 45min so it was tender as anything 😍 thanks so much for the kind words mate- we were tearing around town trying to get to as many spots as possible 😆 hope you enjoy the series- we can’t wait to get back to NYC- what a city! Thanks for watching and commenting 😄 Cheers, Sheena

You know Lesley...... when I cark it one day, the last thought on my mind won't be about chastising myself that I didn't vacumn, clean, and wash the dishes promptly! My house is kept so it doesn't look like a total train wreck to the naked eye!
But young single people choose BK or Manhattan for some reason when it's so much cheaper safer and convenient to midtown than even far north and south of the city!

Hey guys. This Queens night market looks buzzing. Awesome that there is so much choice of food from all over the world. The dish that stood out to us the most was the kuih - looked delicious 😎😍
It was awesome guys!! We loved the diversity and the atmosphere- such a neat place. Thanks for watching and commenting- hope you enjoyed this one. Cheers, Sheena
Yea not bad at all mate! And the flavours were all so on point. Our favourite was the Cambodian- that fish amok and the beef skewers were phenomenal. Thanks for watching and commenting on this one 😄 Cheers, Sheena
Hi Sovan kesey, thanks for watching mate! DEFINITELY on the list mate- we can't wait to return soon. Eating the fish amok in this video transported us right back. Big love! Cheers, Sheena
Great video, and it was wonderful to meet and chat with you both there at the night market! My girlfriend and I had about four of the same items you did...that greatly bolsters my confidence in my own food-selection-abilities. Haha.
😂😂😂😂 Mark!! It was awesome meeting you guys! Thanks so much for coming up and saying hi 👋 We loved the market so much- the vibe was brilliant. Did you have the Cambodian? Omg those beef skewers and the fish curry 🤤 hope you enjoy the rest of the series mate, thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers, Sheena
Excellent vlog. One thing I miss is when you both reviewed the same food. Saw reviews saying not to understand that. You both both have different flavor tastes, loved that extra review. Need to visit Queens before that night market ends this next month. Absolutely love that you're found the groundwork for epic food. Cheers. Hope you're having a blast in Mexico. Try cochinita pibil there, also carnitas, birria and barbacoa.
Yay so glad you enjoyed it Rebecca! Ahhh yes, for a while there we each spoke about the same food, we're always trying to change things up a bit so maybe we will try it again one day. We tended to do that when we were making videos where we focused on just one dish as opposed to a few in a video. We're having the best time in Mexico- we will definitely be eating what you listed- have a special carnitas place to film this week in fact! Thanks for watching and commenting! Love to River x Cheers, Sheena
Yes!! NY vid is finally here 👍NY is one of my fav cities cuz of its diversity, but its also one of the most expensive! Great vid Thomas & Sheena, everything looks droolilicious 😋😋. I chuckled at Thomas's end vid expression, its not a blooper right? 🤣🤣. Cant wait for the next NY vid guys! Take care & cheers 💜💚
😂 Thomas was chatting to our friend who was with us about how we film 😆 You’re not wrong mate- it is a pricey city in which to travel but like you say I reckon the diversity and the quality of the food makes up for it. We ate soooo well! Hope you like the rest of the series mate- we had a tonne of fun filming this one! Thanks for watching and commenting Ar Em 😘 have a great week! Cheers, Sheena
wow...!! I didnt know NYC Queens night market are so diverse with so much of variety...!! they even have murtabak... holy moly eat from day till night! Big like to Thomas and Sheena~!

Another awesome video.👍. The selection at the market is outstanding, diversity well represented. Totally jealous you got to meet some of your fans that night! How do you know your making it as a big time you tuber? When fans recognize you!! The only down side is (like in Australia), are the prices. I know you emphasized that the prices are capped at $6 ($8:80 AUD), however l still think to get the full experience and try many tastes of the world it would be a costly (but awesome fun) night of eating. Cannot wait for the next one!!
Thanks so much for watching Brilliant But Blue 😍 It’s so neat when people come up and tell us they watch our videos- we love meeting our viewers- it’s so cool getting to chat to people who are just as food obsessed as us 😄 we totally hear you on the $$$ front! Before we arrived in NYC we said to each other we’d just focus on good food and having fun and try and not dwell on the price of things- we’d go crazy otherwise 😝 Time to start saving so we can get back there again soon! Hope you like the rest of the series mate 😄 Cheers, Sheena
Hey you guys, welcome to New York City known as 'The Big Apple! It's home to the Statue of Liberty and it's my dream place to live. The foods in America looks so good here, amazing......... lovely food adventure video! 😉
The Big Apple is so dreamy! We loved our week there 😍 we ate so well too- the food culture is so diverse!! Thanks for watching and commenting Jade, hope you like the rest of the series! Cheers, Sheena
Hi TICO, thanks for watching and commenting! The Food Ranger has grown himself a big channel! Hope we can get there one day. Hope you like what we have coming up on the channel! Cheers, Sheena
This Palata looks like Turkish "Gözleme" but we do inside Cheese or mintbeef or spinach with Cheese etc... but with Chicken it will be interesting to taste it ;)
Totally! We found of the things we ate that we've eaten in their country's of origin really stacked up. The flavours were completely authentic. It was neat to see the diversity at the market. Hope you enjoyed this video mate. Cheers, Sheena
😍😍😍😍 Chicago is on our list for next time Sandra! We would love to visit 😄 the food scene looks awesome 🤤 hope you enjoy this short series in the USA- we can’t wait to return! Thanks for watching 😘 Cheers, Sheena
I don't think I've ever seen somewhere as ethnically diverse as this market in terms of food. I could spend 3 days there eating non stop. Next time I'm back in NYC I'll be paying this place a visit for sure. Great start to your New York series guys.
It really blew us away too Hrundi V Bakshi- it was awesome! And there were so many foods we didn’t get to sample! So happy you enjoyed this video mate, thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers, Sheena 😄
🤤🤤🤤🤤 Burmese Bites do a chicken curry too- we should have ordered that on the side also!! Thanks for watching and commenting John, hope you enjoyed this one! Cheers, Sheena
Totally Honee2 Short! They were soooo tasty. Super gooey 🤤 hope you enjoyed this one mate- it was such a fun video to film. We were so excited to be in the USA! 😍 Cheers, Sheena
😍😍😍 totally Sam 13! It was awesome flitting from one spectacular city to another. Thanks for watching and commenting on this one- hope you enjoyed the video mate. Cheers, Sheena
We'd love to Alfredo Iganz! Eating the kue in this video took us right back! Thanks for watching and commenting, hope you enjoyed this video mate. Cheers, Sheena
Wish we could have!! It won’t be long before we return to the US hopefully- the small taste we had only whet our appetite! Thanks for watching and commenting dswetz1, hope you enjoy this series 😘 Cheers, Sheena
Yes!! 😍 it’s so interesting to see the crossover in cuisines countries that are in the same geographical region right? It was sooo tasty- not as intense in flavour as an Indian keema but the subtle spice was beautiful. Thanks for watching and commenting mate, hope you enjoyed this video! Cheers, Sheena
If you want good West Indian food, the best thing to get is Curried Goat or Bone-in Chicken Roti from Trinidad-Tobago in Brooklyn. Also Oxtail Stew is very good.
Awesome recommendation Matthew Cho! Thanks for that 😍 we can’t wait to get back for more eating. Far out the food scene is mind blowing. That curried goat sounds well worth hunting down. Thanks for watching and commenting- hope you enjoy the rest of the series! Cheers, Sheena
Wish Dunedin had a international food market. Wellington had a good food cart market but not as much as that market. The Cambodian food I can eat at home, so would go for other cuisines I am not used to.
@@ChasingaPlate I can't cook lol 😂 Baked beans on toast is my specialty 🙂 My mother can cook it, she has passed away 4 years ago though. We are Cambodian Chinese so we eat Cambodian and Chinese teo chew food.
I like you guys a lot and I enjoy your videos too. But it almost seems like every second word both of you let out was "really". To the end of the video I could hardly concentrate on the content, because the "reallys" were so distracting...
Hi Fiona, thanks for watching and commenting! We totally agree with you 🙈 I don't know why we do it- lots to think about you know? 😆 Also we find when one of us starts saying a particular word the other person starts using it lots as well. It's really weird. Definitely something we'll try and improve on although you may have to suffer through a few more "reallys" for the next couple of videos which we've already filmed 😜 Have a good day! Cheers, Sheena
Thomas here - laughing that Sheena used really to describe how we say really too much 😂 Working on our delivery is something we're always thinking about. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers, Thomas 😀
😍😆😍😆 awesome right?! I think this is the only one in NYC- I’m not sure about other cities though. It was super fun- like being back in Asia 🤗 thanks for watching and commenting guys! Cheers, Sheena
Hi Kawaii Squish Ips :3, thanks for watching. I’m not really sure what you mean, we’re just enjoying the amazing food. If it bothers or annoys you perhaps find another channel in which no sounds are made when eating? 🤷🏻♀️ Cheers, Sheena

Keema Palata!! Always love how Myo is so focused when patting out the dough. Definitely one of the best dishes at the market
We want to try all his other dishes now 🤤🤤🤤

Those Cambodian beef skewers are really next level! The lemongrass and lime leaves on that crazy tender beef
Ummmm how do they even get the meat that tender???!!! Next level!! 🤤

Queens: most diverse town (city) in the world 😍
It’s magnificent 😍
But young single people choose BK or Manhattan for some reason when it's so much cheaper safer and convenient to midtown than even far north and south of the city!
The most attractive thing about this market is that it has amazingly various foods from all around the world. Thank you for sharing!
So neat right?! The diversity blew us away! Thanks for watching and commenting, hope you enjoyed this video! Cheers, Sheena

Loads of choice!! It was such a neat vibe too Pheng Ov- lots of people! Thanks for watching and commenting, hope you enjoyed this one! Cheers, Sheena
so cool ! never knew this existed in NY
So neat right?! The vibe was awesome and the food was great. Thanks for watching and commenting Alina! Hope you enjoyed this one 😄 Cheers, Sheena
Totally! We found of the things we ate that we've eaten in their country's of origin really stacked up. The flavours were completely authentic. It was neat to see the diversity at the market. Hope you enjoyed this video mate. Cheers, Sheena
Oh my goodness y'all made me so hungry. Amazing!!! Are y'all by chance coming to Chicago? This is where I live!
What is the name of this street market?
Thanks for watching this one. It's the Queens Night Market. All details are in the UA-cam description box. Cheers, Thomas 😀
@@ChasingaPlate thanks Thomas
Looks amazing .... the chicken murtabak/prata could use a good fish or chicken or mutton curry though 😁....looking forward to ur NYC adventures
🤤🤤🤤🤤 Burmese Bites do a chicken curry too- we should have ordered that on the side also!! Thanks for watching and commenting John, hope you enjoyed this one! Cheers, Sheena
Awesome 😎
😄😄😄😄 we loved filming this one! So happy to be in NYC! Hope you enjoy the rest of the series Abel Campos! Cheers, Sheena
Those octopus 🐙 ball looks so appetizing, looks just like the ones in Japan.
Totally Honee2 Short! They were soooo tasty. Super gooey 🤤 hope you enjoyed this one mate- it was such a fun video to film. We were so excited to be in the USA! 😍 Cheers, Sheena

i enjoy it very much...make me hungry. :)
That jerk chicken looked SO good. God bless and take care. On your way to Mexico you should have stopped in San Antonio!
Wish we could have!! It won’t be long before we return to the US hopefully- the small taste we had only whet our appetite! Thanks for watching and commenting dswetz1, hope you enjoy this series 😘 Cheers, Sheena
Auckland has a night market in a carpark now, but not tried it, only seen it on tv.
Ahhh yes, is it the one out east? We’ve never been but have heard it’s quite popular! 😄
@@ChasingaPlate yes the new one in underground carpark 🙂
👍👍👍
😄😄😄😄 thanks for watching Emil Kiskinov! Cheers, Sheena
I just realize Burmese Bite's keema palata is actually roti prata stuffed with keema (mince meat curry).
Do you make fish amok at home Pheng Ov? 🤤
@@ChasingaPlate I can't cook lol 😂 Baked beans on toast is my specialty 🙂 My mother can cook it, she has passed away 4 years ago though. We are Cambodian Chinese so we eat Cambodian and Chinese teo chew food.
Approved for 30k.
Thanks for watching! Cheers, Sheena
Jerk chicken with disrespectful sauce?? oh no! hope you have some milk near you
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
USA also got pasar malam????I can't believe!!!I talk Asian only have!!!but look the pasar malam much cleaner and look more better 👍👍👍👍👍
😍😆😍😆 awesome right?! I think this is the only one in NYC- I’m not sure about other cities though. It was super fun- like being back in Asia 🤗 thanks for watching and commenting guys! Cheers, Sheena
Why so much noise when eating it's way over the top please stop that!
