I'm legit not worried about the Celtics losses. most of them are teams who have career nights and just winning by 6 or less. The loss to the Thunder showed they got lethargic in the second half, though they tried to make a run but failed. We know what they can do in the playoffs and they can fall to the 4 seed for all I care and I'll still trust them to make at least ECF.
It wasn't lethargy, it was playing a 3rd road game in 4 days in the afternoon. The 3 in 4 is something the league said they were trying to get rid of, but not for the Celtics in premiere matchups, I guess
the "career nights" thing is actually the "champs are visiting" thing. every team wants to see how they measure up, and "circle" that match up on their calendars. @MelGrossmann is right about the Sunday afternoon game. the Cs had a back-to-back against 2 top defensive teams in the WC, one day off, and a 3 o'clock start. they kind of ran out of gas late in the 3rd.
For me, the Celtics have shown they legitimately reached “flip a switch” ability… they have legit championship pedigree. I wont go for the sorry ass “they’re bored and waiting for the playoffs” . I truly believe they love the game more than that … but I will say, not only do I believe they’ve earned games off (D white off when they’re in his native Colorado? 🤔 👀 😂) but I really think these Celtics have shown they have a whole other level to tap into and they know damn well when to do it 💯 ☘️
Agree with everything you said except for one thing you doubting that it’s them being bored and waiting for playoffs while I won’t say that’s entirely true I believe it’s simply a subconscious thing that floats around in each of their minds since they know they won a chip it’s only natural to assume you have every right to win th game no matter what even if you lack effort because you just won the whole thing and the fact they are doing this good whilst having all that hype and still being able to be this focused? But okay everything fell on his own place, they won they seckond year with Joe, and yup , lot off people cant notice but they fors sure have a switch for MARATHON and for SPRINT mode. people living to much in the momment so they keep forggeting that this team can play everything not just 3s, chucking 50 3s per game is the best way to finish this 82 games marathon run, and stayed frashed and healthy.
Tatum needs to cut down on the 3s to at least 7-8 a night and he’ll be fine but honestly he’s fine let him shoot weather it goes in or not let him shoot at least he has the balls to shoot em unlike Simmons .. he won’t even attempt a 3 him and Gianni’s. Tatum is our best player playing point as a 215 lb wing .. stretch curry is what we call him and without Tatum or leader we are nothing dam sure not 2nd in the east without him he’s our young goat! We as Celtics fans are lucky to have such an amazing player leading us in the trenches every night!

When i watching Celtics , from time to time i wants everybody from the roster to stop chuking bricks except JT, you remember when he didnt stop shooting on the off night in game 6 against sixers in the 4th quarter, than continue with same pace in game 7 and now he holds the record. He improved his shot, he is silent assasian , i want him to shoot. Like this guy said in the video, Celtics playing with their one hand and one leg tied, becouse they must to keep their body safe for the run, this is just a marathon, goal is to get their safe , and with descent seed. People calling JT a choker, becouse he lost against better and experienced team in the finals, better coached teams but he is clutch as they can be. KEEP ON GOING JT. YOU ARE MVP
The C's are cruising to the playoffs instead of grinding themselves down, we all get it. And yet, their record and point differential is almost the same as this point last season. They're doing fine. The Cavs are surprising maniacs, and who knows how that plays out, but there's nothing wrong with the Celtics.
Cavs record, is much better than they are. For real , both games we played against them, es a ex basketball player, i coudnt see them as any potential threat to our run for a repeat, i dkn about numbers but for me, my guts never lie.
Cavs are gonna realize what winning 70 games feels like in late may... :) And to be clear: Cavs are playing amazing and are gonna be a huge challenge for Boston. Their double bigs are gonna ask a lot from KP, Al, Luke and Neemie. Anyone notice that Mazulla has been playing more double big line ups?
