- This video is a response to the most common criticism I received in the comments of my video "Should Christians Support Donald Trump?"
It goes like this: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone! God used King David, and even though he was an adulterer and a murderer, he's described as 'a man after God's own heart'! And God has anointed Trump in the same way.
If you've watched my other videos, you probably realize I consider that borderline blasphemy. In this video, I explain why.

A breath of life you really are in these chaotic times in our country. If I call myself Christian then I must follow God’s word.I must be faithful to God and trust his will not anyone or my own self. Trump was once asked if he had ever asked God to forgive him. Trump basically affirmed that he was mostly a good person, but that if he did something wrong, he would just try to make it right in the future, and not get God involved.

This is the second video from the channel I've watched and I've got to say thanks very much for putting these out and please do more. Too many non-Christians only hear from those Trump supporters on the far right who identify as followers of Jesus, and can't square the circle between what is said and done. They equate lack of internal consistency and hypocrisy with Christ. Content like this help to redress the balance, and show what it's like to truely be an ambassador for Christ, focused on Him and not on party politics or nationalism.

God bless you, I agree with your view completely. I marvel at the hypocrisy of evangelicals today. These are the same people who were all over Obama, not that I agree with Obama's policies. Some of the distaste for Obama was because mostly racist as some started their criticism of him was even before he had become president

And then Jesus, also known as Jesus Christ, (from whom CHRISTians take there name and religion) was sent to tell you there is a new way to live and behave. And of course there were the "10 Commandments" given to Moses. And no where do they say, "thou shalt not commit murder...or adultery... or steal, except if you are PRESIDENT!" It specifically says thou shalt not take the name of God in vain! Which is what Trump and any other official, who has sworn their oaths of office on a Bible, have done if they fail to uphold that oath.

The problem with voting by political party is that no two people within the same party think exactly alike. You'd be surprised by the number of Democrats who OPPOSE abortion! I've also encountered an equal number of Republicans who SUPPORT a woman's choice! I believe that's America's biggest political problem. Far too many voters allow political parties to do their thinking for them. Remember: it's government of the people, by the people and for the people, not government of the parties, by the parties and for the parties. Look beyond the party and at the candidate, then ask yourself if this person truly represents your values and America's best interests at heart.
I completely agree my husband is pressuring me to vote republican for all the reasons you mention i think he is googleling now if he can divorce me for my political views lol anyways. I told him all the things you mentioned. I told him that our representatives and senators are closer to the people than the president and that the people could change the laws if there is enough support. He told me that if i consider myself a democrat i cant even have communion and that i have the blood of thousands of unborn babies in my hands. Its hard to talk to people who are one issue voters. He said that i shouldnt vote for a President whose agenda fits mine because Republicans are pro-life. I told him that being republican does not make you pro-life but he cant see pass that. Thats why i strongly feel that church and government should never muc because those in power can easily manipulate people by telling them what they want to hear even if they have no intention in ever doing what they promised. He told me if a priest who said that if Trump is elected abortion will end in the next year and im amazed on how church can also manipulate people. I feel like im losing my faith.

One thing people need to understand is that Roe v. Wade doesn’t legalize abortion. It only makes it illegal for states to make abortion illegal. If Roe v. Wade is reversed, it won’t criminalize abortion. Abortion will still be legal in most states, and people living in the other states will only have to drive to a nearby state to get an abortion.

After seeing "Should Christians Support Donald Trump?", I finally realized the Number One reason why I can't support him. He not only wants to abolish the Affordable Care Act, but also defund Planned Parenthood. Poor and middle-class women rely on them for low-cost or even free prenatal care. Trump is simply trying to trade one form of infanticide (i.e., abortion) for another (i.e., miscarriages and stillbirths. I know that if it hadn't been for prenatal care, I wouldn't be here. I suspect that Trump only wants to save babies of rich, Republicans families, preferably white ones.

Do you believe we should support Biden then? Or an Independent candidate? Or would it just be better altogether to not vote for president this year? I don't think Christians should vote for or support Biden for obvious reasons but certain independent candidates may be reasonable choices even though they'll lose.
Dear Nas Brown, it think the 2020 election is too big a deal...to skip by abstaining from voting altogether. Not voting means your vote goes to the opposition. I think you have to choose the lesser of 2 evils. Biden may not be perfect (but who is?!). And voting for an Independent candidate...doesn't get you very far in 2020, as you yourself have already hinted at. Because the Independent Candidates are already giving their voice & support to Biden, in an effort to keep President Trump out of the White House for another 4 years. @@janehollander1934 It's a decision that surely requires a lot of prayer and godly discernment no doubt. While I am no Trump supporter, I have convictions regarding Biden's social policies, which will surely support abortion and advertise LGBTQ as well. While I understand that these things cannot necessarily be legislated by government, I feel it would be wrong to vote for a candidate who publicly supports these sinful practices while claiming to be a follower of Christ, as he's basically lying and saying that it's okay to commit these sins when we as Christians are called to hate our own sin first and then the sin of others. However, Biden has been acting more professional then Trump has recently, so I'll give him credit for that. On the other hand you have Trump, whose behavior does not reflect that of a Christian, as he has made unbiblical statements before. But I'll leave the state of his salvation between him and God. However, Trump's policies don't appear to be in direct opposition to the Bible like Biden's are, so it makes the choice very difficult.

You mentioned narcissist, and i have wondered if it is a true disability . We know, i believe, that a sociopath is disabled and a narcissistic, but is the inverse also true? I have not studied this stuff in years, but i have known all of the above but am still dumbfounded when i realize i just ran into another, as i have recently. They can seem very interesting, adventuresome, and very authoritative. Gradually you discover the missing screws. It would seem trump is like judas or Pharoah, and i have often wondered, believe it or not if judas was saved since he so regretted what he had done. You don't see that with Pharaoh and trump, for starters. Judas did seem to operate in a different plane missing the point. I wonder if we will learn more after we leave here, or will it be self-evident...or will we even care any more. As i am now, i am hoping we just keep learning from the Lord Himself. Do you think we will really meet Him? I dream of just touching his cheek and then i just weep. Such joy.

There are many videos of Trump praising God and giving thanks to the Lord. He's even spoken about Jesus being the most famous person in history and that Trump himself wasn't even close. I'm not a Trump fanboy or anything but I certainly know God put Trump where he needed him.

A number of half truths here brother !Many of us see Trump in power as a specific answer to prayer & not just prayer in general! This is because it has allowed christians in US extra time to spread the gospel before God's impending judgment comes on your nation! You may not agree with me - that's fine! Why Trump you say? Simply because he stands for freedom of speech & freedom of religion - particularly Christianity.There are forces out there that will take these things away once he is out of power!
Actually, Donald Trump himself is interfering with spreading the Gospel by making Louis LeJoy (or maybe DeJoy) the Postmaster General, who's now removing mailboxes and dismantling mail-sorting machines in order to make voting by mail even more difficult than ever. Not only that, but it'll create unnecessary hardships for those who can only receive Social Security checks and medications through the mail, yet worst of all, many Christians support missionaries through the mail, too, by sending Bibles, Gospel tracts, etc. For that reason, I feel very, VERY sorry for Donald Trump because he's going to have to answer for interfering with The Great Commission which Jesus Christ Himself ordered all Christians, regardless of political affiliation or none, to do. Let's all pray that Donald Trump will do some serious praying and repenting before it's too late!
Correction: Trump only stands for freedom of his supporters' speech. Trump only stands for freedom of the press so long as it sings his praises. It isn't bad enough that he appointed Louis DeJoy as Postmaster General so he could destroy mail-sorting machines and remove mailboxes in order to make it as hard as possible to vote by mail, but Trump is actually encouraging his supporters to break the law by voting TWICE, the very same thing he accuses the opposition of doing! Not only that, but I recently read in the news that voting places are disappearing and Trump plans to have various forms of law enforcement at the polls to make sure that everything's "fair", i.e., intimidate voters to elect him. If he was a true man of God, then he wouldn't act like a despot.
