How to Make Rice Porridge in a Zojirushi Rice Cooker

I accidentally became a rice cooker recipe influencer about a decade ago when I uploaded a random video of me trying out my new Zojirushi rice cooker. People were mad that I wasn't explaining how to use it!
Well, now I've made it right. I hope you guys will forgive me for neglecting my responsibility to only provide informative content and not just random stuff off my phone.

Highly recommend putting about a tablespoon of chopped ginger in to cook, and after I finish mine in the bowl by drizzling some sesame seed oil, a little chili oil, and some chopped scallions. So satisfying!

@@SuperpopeGaming my wife’s Asian, half of my family are Asian. They all wash their rice, even for porridge. I don’t know of any Asian people who don’t wash their rice. Main reason: dust and other impurities you don’t want in your food. Have a look at the rice production and packaging process; not the cleanest of environments.
