You were my inspiration to build something similar in my basement. I copied everything you showed here down to the nut and the washers. My kids love it and it’s their only activity in this Canadian winter. ❄️
Any reason those obstacles are not directly hang from the joist, while carefully checking your video they are all hanging from additional 2X4 stud screwed to the floor joist?
I ended up using the 2x4's screwed to the floor joist so I could use the bolts with washers and for certain spacing of the obstacles. So far so good with nothing falling so far!
Thanks @@WhatWeDid365 for your feedback, 2 x 4 are screwed to the joist assume at each obstacle spacing. Further to screw the stud what screws need to be used and can that 2 x 4 stud be directly screwed on the bottom flage of the I joist of the basement ceiling? Appreciate for your comments and guidance
@@WhatWeDid365 as said earlier construction screws #10 x 3-1/2" didn't work for us with 2 X 6 stud. Email you too, do advise with your comments. Thanks
Yes, it’s just one of those wavy plastic slides. I found it on Facebook marketplace and it was perfect for a height between floors. Two screws at the top that screws into the landing with 3” lag bolts.
You are good father. Kids will remember when you be grandfather amd make for their kids
Thanks, appreciate the kind comment!

Thanks, appreciate that!! Hope they get lots of use out of it...which I'm sure they will as ours still use it all the time!
I’m thinking of adding this to my garage gym for the grandkids- I started off looking for just a climbing wall and u have inspired me!
Thank you so much for giving me ideas.
Trying to find a video for an apartment friendly version 😊
This is amazing. Donyiu mind giving the link for the ninja one and the bkue one please?
Hi Remya...the links are in the description at the top...thanks!
Can you please make a video about how you have your kid's slide area setup? or share pictures of the area via emaill?
@@inderjit9691 thanks for the comment…I’ll make a video of the slide area and get it posted next weekend.
@@WhatWeDid365 thank you.
@@inderjit9691 did that video of the slide help or do you have other questions?
Hello. Awesome set up. We are thinking of doing something similar in a 12x12 room. About how large is this area? Thank you!
Thanks...they're hanging in a 10' wide x about 12'...you should be able to make that happen.
Until how old? Trying to convince the hubby to make one for our little guy. 😂
Our kiddos are 9 and almost 8 and still use it with their friends. I suspect I've got a couple more years with it.

@@ndusa07 I used 4 - 4” screws for each of the 2x4’s…with the exception of the longer board that has 2-4” screws at each floor joist location.
Thanks however construction screws not working for our 2×4

Can you show the slide? Was it diy?
