This simple hot tub was great until an internal part of it broke and basically it became unusable at that point - and was just outside of warranty by a few months. I would recommend steering clear of this one! Great idea, but needs some improvement.

    good reporting,and a true account of the diffuclty of this procedure,but what most people fail to mention is that if you dont have this procedure the disease is terminal,1 to 2 years life expectancy with severe aortic stenosis,so its a life saving operation and all the pains and discomforts is worth it to extend your life

      No, just had a birth defect on the aortic valve that finally started to restrict blood flow enough to cause symptoms - if not replaced can cause a heart attack.

    I’m 56 and having trouble with my aortic valve also with regurgitation plus LVH. I’m being monitored every six months by my cardiologist so mine isn’t bad. But I really like your videos. I appreciate your honesty and if I need surgery in the distant future I’ll refer to your videos.

      If you're under warranty, do the process now...don't wait as they're no help. There's no way to rectify the problem as it's inside the walls with no access. Ultimately what we did...took it to the dump and bought an actual hot tub. Great idea though to see if people really want to invest in one - which we did.

    Hi hope you’re doing well. Thanks for the 7 video series, I also have a bye cuspid valve surgery scheduled for 8/4/24 now I know what to expect. I’m 65 I’ve had no go for years . I’m ready to get this done can’t wait to feel better. I know I have to wade through the bad to get to the good. My dad had the same surgery when he healed he said he didn’t know how bad he felt until he had the surgery and healed up. Thanks again. Jim 😎

    How long did you wait to see the doctor after the symptoms started ? And how long after the test results did you have surgery ?

      @@bigjm3143 hi there…I didn’t wait. I actually caught the symptoms early from riding my road bike with my brother and seeing the difference in heart rates. I ended up having to wait about three years of watching tests and until having major symptoms.

    Great video. Do you think adding a ledger board between the brackets and the wall can work? I have a stucco + plywood wall. It is hard to find the studs behind the wall in the right position for the brackets.

      Ledger board would work just fine as long as it's secured to the house.

    Hell from the uk I’d like to ask your advice please ….it’s actually about the retractable awning …..we had one put one up a week ago but there is a problem the rollers seem to be too high and causing the material to pucker both winding out and in so much so it looks like it will rip the material ……the only thing I noticed is it’s been put on over so past the bolts in the middle could this be the problem .going by how it looks I can’t see it making much difference it’s at the right height and angle looks just like all the ones iv watched on UA-cam but something is not right .have you any idea please thank you

      Truthfully, I'm not certain. Ours does touch the fabric in the middle and hasn't caused any problems yet.

      It was just so uncomfortable to me to lay that flat...I slept more upright in a recliner for about a month.

    Glad ur driving and doing good. I had my aortic valve replaced seven weeks ago. I have had pain really since leaving the hospital. I pretty much do normal things, just don't go crazy. I was A simpatic so I don't need rehab I was told. I walk a mile and a half most every day with no issues. It was really not a big deal and pain was minimal, so I hope this helps people facing surgery. I wish u well and a long healthy and happy life! Thx for the video. I'm 72.

      @@Nature_with_Peter_Kane It was no strenuous activity at the beginning, but wanted me to move around though with the therapy group - did a lot of bike riding and walking. Once I was through with therapy got the all clear for anything.

    Good video.. what is the make and model of this one.. I installed a 10 x 8 that looks like the exact same instructions and parts as yours. I noticed that every time I roll it it up the fabric starts to bunch up in the center of the roller. Does your do the same?

      Thanks for watching...I don't recall which make and model we purchased...it's been a minute or two or how about years now. The fabric bunched up slightly and I just had to adjust the front bar connections. After that everything has rolled up nicely ever since. I haven't touched it in three years now.

    Professional awning installer here. Your front bar connections are misaligned. To correct this bring the awning approx 90% of the way in, loosen both front bar connections (not too far), adjust the position of the front bar centering it on the awning. With the front bar connections still loose, retract the awning all the way, then retighten the front bar connectors.

    Walls are too close for the vents on the side of the grill. This isnt a great way to build the cutout for the grill.

      No doubt in my mind that it would help to do that. With the heat coming from the sides, the closer to the surface the better.
