Hi! thank you! During this crazy time, we are going to try this out! We may have some questions but we have identified the space and the measurements. Thank you
Thanks! A couple years later (and a couple pounds heavier) i still use it almost every day. I am going to build one at my brothers house this weekend, i was thinking about making a video out of it!
@@NothingToDoCrew i will be building one at my backyard soon. it will be super helpful if you could share schematic diagram (if you have one), i wont have to start from scratch and waste time and materials.
this is wonderful! I am planning on working with 11, 12, and 13 year old boys to build this course. Can you send me the blueprints and any other tricks and thoughts you might have to ensure they are successful? With thanks.
That's what i ended up doing a few months after i made this video. The pipe grabs are still my favorite part of this ninja setup. They are great for building grip strength and learning how to grab on the fly
i love the video! however the only thing I've noticed is that it's a little bunched up. So i was wondering what other obstacles you would add to make this a longer and larger course?
Did you see our other video? We ended up adding in some more balancing obstacles and barrels and a rope climb.it all depends on how much space you have.
It's actually 3 sheds. The one with the stove pipe was where the previous owner would watch tv and work on his train sets. We ended up taking out the stove pipe and turning it into my wife's "sheshed" bar not long after i made this video
@@NothingToDoCrew Thanks! Bought most of the lumber today, and am looking forward to creating an awesome ninja gym for my 10 year old! Thanks for the helpful video!
Yea..pretty much. You can make a few obstacles using stuff you find in the trash (like the barrel and bucket obstacles i used in the main video), but anything using a lot of body weight has to be pretty secure...and secure=expensive. I bet if you just used 2x4's you could probably make something equally as good/strong and 2x4's are pretty cheap.
just a few days ago i bought a few 4X4's/2X4's and i was surprised how cheap it actually was. Im thinking of building a salmon ladder in my back yard maybe its a start to my own course
@@davidmcaninch4714 I dont hate the wall as an NW obstacle, i just hate it as an at home obstacle. My friend built one and it's huge/takes up a lot of space in the backyard. For the first few days we ran up that thing about 100 times, but after we figured it out we stopped using it. The other obstacles really help build your grip/muscle strength, but the warped wall is more of a finesse obstacle. The warped wall cost ~60-80$ to make and for that price i think there is better options
We had built steps, but like the warped wall... once you figure out how it's done the fun goes away. We like to use buckets as the steps to help work on the balance.

I love this video. Big time can of American Ninja Warrior! Now I can train for it! Thanks!!!!!
Thanks! Trinna! I love my little setup and it's been getting a lot of use lately (since all the gyms are closed)
In the planning stages of mine. Your vid helped out so much, thanks! Looks amazing btw! 👍
Thanks i'm glad it helped!
That's a great idea! I had thought about doing a floating board, but I forgot all about it
That would really help me get healthy and fit and help me accomplish my dream of being in American Ninja Warrior!
freaking awesome backyard diy!

Thanks for the ideas and blue prints! Looking at building one for my 12 year old.
JP Birtz no problem, he will love it.
I'm sure he will......and I'm sure I'll give it a whirl myself. Thanks again and keep up the videos.
JP Birtz if you need the blueprints send me your email (pm me on fb)
OK..... I'll do that. Thanks.
You should try building the obstacle called flying squirrel
Great vid, space efficient design
Diamond Wolf thanks! Yea it definitely fits perfect where it’s at. I think this year I am going to expand it
This is amazing. Would you mind sharing the blueprint?
I love this obstacle course and would LOVE to build it! How do I get the blueprints????

Message me over on facebook and i'll send you everything
what kind of poles did you use for the pullup bar and the other stuff? curious so i can adjust the size constraint for mine
i used half inch steel pipe
You can just get a wooden dowel for the pegs

thats amazing
Wow! Tank you so much.
2018 someone
nick_ f c thanks! I’ve been updating my course, I should make a new video one of these days
Please that awsome
What is the distance in feet from pole to pole on the salmon ladder and the rest of the obstacle structure?
Thanks

Benjamin Pucci I like it so much I watch it all the time
What is that long shed with the stove pipe for?

@@NothingToDoCrew okay I thought it might be some sort of meat smoking operation. Thank you tor responding. Nice ninja course too.
Those first 8 poles that you put in, what size are they? 4x4x 12?
Kim Culbert they are 4x4x10. I Burris’s mine 2ft deep, so they are 8ft off the ground
@@NothingToDoCrew Thanks! Bought most of the lumber today, and am looking forward to creating an awesome ninja gym for my 10 year old! Thanks for the helpful video!
@@KimCulbert Coolest mom ever, he's going to love it!
Ok thanks
How long did this take to build
Benjamin Pucci 2-3 days, a few hours each day after work
Great!
awesome
Hey, I'm interested in building this! Can you send me the blueprints?
Would you mind sending me the building plans?
Awesome job. Could you send me the blueprints?

So summed up to build a ninja course you need money to spend

This might sound noobie but what does DIY mean lol
+Kaila Turner DIY ------- "Do It Yourself" . DIY is basically the modern version of "how to"
What, no Warped Wall?
The warped wall kind of sucks. Once you figure out how to do it, it becomes really easy and just takes up a lot of space
NothingTo DoCrew how can you say the Warped Wall sucks? It’s one of the core Ninja Warrior obstacles.
@@davidmcaninch4714 I dont hate the wall as an NW obstacle, i just hate it as an at home obstacle. My friend built one and it's huge/takes up a lot of space in the backyard. What was the total price
twigs ~150
Do a video where you try to do parkour
We thought about doing parkour but I don't know of any good spots in mi, or anybody that's a little bit more skilled that could show us the ropes
I'd be stoked to show you some parkour moves if you want!
Do you live in Michigan?
I live over in CT, however I have relatives in Lansing, or we could meet up in NYC they have great areadfor parkour
build quintuple steps there is a another great video on how to build them type in American ninja warrior blue prints

WATCH THE NEW SEASON OF AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR TO GET IDEAS
POV: You aren’t actually going to build this.
I can do it😂😂
down one everytime he says 2by2
yea..i think this was my first video with me talking to the camera, it was a struggle. Some of these older videos are tough to watch
@@NothingToDoCrew nothing wrong with a good ol 2by2
