- It's been a good while since I took a crack at something scary. How did I do?! LOL
Caught the Infection Trend on TikTok and I got Nostalgic over those old Grimdark MLP blogs on tumblr. Man, I used to LOVE those. Did you guys know that those where kind of the main reason why started drawing ponies? Haha.... oh man, those days.
I made these in two days. Used some stock backgrounds I found online and thought of how to dress them up!
I made my own audio with some sound effects I got from Epidemic and meshed them together.

I really like the amount of creativity this Infection AU is bringing. I saw one interpretation where the Tree of Harmony was the source of the infection. It started to release spores and began infecting ponies so they eventually turn into "imperfect" versions of the Tree of Harmony. It took inspiration from that one episode where Fluttershy almost becomes a tree.
Oh yeah that ones nifty its called devine swamp fever. In the show it was Zecora who got regular swamp fever, which has a cure

The fact that these zombies can fly, teleport, and have superior strength without holding back is beyond terrifying.
You actually have a point. In that cause, twilight would most likely survive because of 2 reasons.
1: Forcefield
2: Owlicorns are immortal

All the ones I see so far are ones where he got infected/killed. Especially early on.
There is one version of the Infection AU that I know of where Spike is immune, but his current whereabouts are unknown. My best guess is that he’s in hiding for what happened to Twilight in the AU (She was Patient 0). The specific AU is called “Everfree Infection” and I have mainly seen it on Instagram.

i love how we’re bringing mlp horror back with these infection au’s (i’m especially biased of these because i LOVE apocalyptic situations!)
God DAMN! This is so well made. The audio you chose worked well to build a sense of dread. Your animation and art style amplified it too, with Redheart dragging herself away, Twilight rocking back and forth in clear horror, and that entire phenomenal ending sequence in black and white. I also must praise your tactful use of gore and blood, only showing it when necessary and letting the imagination fill in the gaps.
As for criticism… honestly I just wanna see more. I wanna learn more. I don’t exactly have much if anything to quibble at; I’m no animator nor visual artist so I’m not qualified to talk about that. As said above it looked good to me.

you rally make a good job with this AU. I love stories that involve monsters with nightmarish designs, and lately I have also wanted to learn how to design creatures of that type that are really scary.

Por lo general los zombies son humanos zombies y, fue divertido, las primeras 20 veces, pero ya estoy cansado.
Sobre todo porque se supone que zombies humanos lograron acabar con máquinas de guerra, humanos convertidos en armas y Dios sabe qué más (recordemos que la única razón por la que no usamos cosas peores es que no tenemos un enemigo contra el cuál usarlas).
Pero luego la serie, película o lo que sea, trata sobre cómo un tipo sin entrenamiento, ni idea de cómo es el mundo, más allá de dónde él o ella vive, acaba con cientos de miles de zombies humanos con armas improvisadas.
Cómo que algo no cuadra ¿No?
Pero MLP con zombies ponies ¡Sí! ¡Nena! ¡Sí!
Sobre todo si es con la G4 que es la mejor generación, porque aquí los personajes son entrañables (por lo que nos vamos a preocupar por ellos, en caso de que les pase algo malo) y no son inútiles (¿Qué se supone que hará el niño que las ponies no puedan hacer?).
Por lo que, si estos zombies mantienen sus poderes, da igual quienes sean los protagonistas, lo van a tener muy difícil para salvar el día, porque se van a enfrentar a seres que pueden barrer montañas de un solo ataque.
