Using its old 2016 model and its been 3 years great performance great value for money..
To tell you the truth this is a 1.8 ton and not a 2 ton unit. The cooling watts state 6200 watts on the outdoor unit. When you convert it to tons it comes to 1.8. I too got misled by Lg a year back having realised this a few days back I can’t go back as it’s too late.
Hi , Its not about mislead every company is having their different calculation of tonnage and BTU. Based on that they rate their product. I have not seen any world standrad document from any approved body for this.
Anyway...I like the product its doing the job which is supposed to do without any hiccup I believe that is most important.

Using 16 always cost you high but trust me you can't feel comfortable in 16 and its not even good for body.

Sir many of them are telling that lg ac has PCB problems? Are you facing this problem.
Bhai trust me if you are looking for AC purchase only LG. I have purchased Daikin as well video is available but break down in 3 times just in a year. Daikin has fixed it but don't know for how many days it will run.
My LG is beast , in 2019 I used it switched off in 2020 I have to just switch on the power and started using it no service nothing required.
Anyway LG is coming with 5 yrs PCB warranty I guess go for it or try extended warranty.
if its 6200w cooling then its 1.75 ton not 2 ton. 2 ton is 7033 watt. many companies did this trick and sell 1.75 ton ac as 2 ton. 1.5 ton is 5275 watt and 1 ton is 3516 watt

LG is also super in cooling. You have to just start the AC and enjoy the sleep. Not like Daikin that in every some minutes you have to switch it off because of extra chillness.
Who said I have faced any problem I have not faced any single issue with LG.

May be your unit is having some issue. Please complain to LG service center.
My Big Mistake selection of LG 1.5 ton dual inverter 5 star AC.. With in 25 days AC not working it's automatically Goes to Himalaya high Cool and next display show 10 degree and within 5 sec AC goes off automatically..LG service very poor..

Cooling performance is good and satisfaction. For my room around the 150 sqft it takes around 20 mins to 23 from 32.

@@ashishniet my room size is 185 square foot, open roof, one side half open, one side fully open. When outside temperature is 45 degree centigrade, I set my Ac temperature 16 degree centigrade, after 2 hours room temperature was 26 degree centigrade. Is my Ac performing good or not
In your case its normal. Cooling depend on these points.
If in your area Daikin is available go for 2.2 ton Daikin.

Yes...there is no inside filter in this model.

My point is why to purchase that product that may have quality issues.Plus Daikin cooling is also not comfortable its like you're sleeping in fridge it caused knee pain to me.
I have around 3 LG ac in my family. This 2 Ton model I am using in Hyderabad. In Hyderabad weather is working perfectly and giving comfortable cooling without any single hiccups. I am using this one in second year.

Hi...Based on my experience I can say it will stay longer. LG is giving 10yrs warranty on compressor if it will work for 10 yrs its also good for me.
Please note at my relative place they are using LG non inverter like some 15 yrs.
Anyway its depend on your usage condition as well. If you are changing AC place frequently then it will not long lasting for you, additionally how you kept outdoor is also important better keep it in some shade to prevent from Rain and extra sunlight.

O general ac is accepted as best here,but o general inverter ac is not available. But other inverter ac like,lg, panasonic, Samsung,Mitsubishi etc are available.

Check LG other products range as well...like inverter linear compressor for fridge. Charcol based microwave etc.
You will feel how this brand is innovating.
where as I have not seen any significant update in Ogeneral and Hitachi.
Anyway if you want cooling only cooling then you can try these brands.

Hi, I have purchased 1.5 ton dual inverter 5 star lg ac on Amazon. May I know if all the parts are already delivered with the AC product or should I purchase anything outside? If yes, please specify what those parts are like drainage pipe, split stand for outdoor unit etc that are not included with the ac. And also please tell the installation charge of this ac

For stand you need to ask them in advance.

The split AC vertical flap dosen't go all the way down like how it does in Himalayan cool mode(Happens only when HC mode is turned-on and turned-off) The Least downward angle of flap starts from the middle and goes up. IMO, this is just a bad design of air throw by LG.

Even sometime I also face the same when I sleep just under the AC. Its really a design issue.

I paid for it at Croma and croma delivered it to my place with my AC.
Yes its necessary , don't place AC on plain floor or rest in wood etc .

Cooling me bahaut jyada farq nahi hota. But installation ke hisab se Split AC jyada theek rehta hai. Split AC ko har bar nikaal ke doosri jagah install karna problem aur costly hota hai.
Bas area , tonnage , floor yeh sab dhyaan de ke lijayea ga.
