They are nice and local to me and a really fabulous place to go for a walk. They have recently spent quite a bit of money on the lakes initially doing some work on the Dam wall and other things including all the new fences, fishing platforms and the paths have been redone. The nearby Manor House Tea Rooms at Earlsweod Lakes Craft Centre is nice to pop into where there are also some interesting Craft Shops amongst other things. Earlseood Motor Yacht Club at Lady Lane Wharf used to be my local from 2010 onwards until it closed down. The old building there has since been knocked down and a new one built with facilities for the boaters but it isn't open to the public anymore. The area is a lovely corner of Warwickshire that is just over the border of the Solihull Borough boundary of which itself was at once part of Warwickshire.
