The young man was 18 nearly 19..he has told several people that..both at the show at the time and since. He voluntarily took a payout and signed a Non disclosure agreement. For his sake I hope he doesn't jump on the media bandwagon cos it may backfire and destroy him. They will offer him outrageous money but will just as quick throw him to the wolves and if he's seen what they have done to Phillip he might think twice.

Dear lord. Many of us grew up using the sniff test. I agree that too many people throw away milk because of the "best before" date. It's "best before" not the "rotten after" date. I even tasted milk that has gone off and stopped drinking it - all on my own! Without having to be told! Surely governments have bigger problems to address.
I do the same with all food, I’ve drank milk two weeks out of date and it’s been fine, I work with a girl who throws so much out, I was trying to explain to her how can she think something is fine one day before and then suddenly at midnight it goes bad and she has to throw it out the next day 🤦🏾
People used to make cream cheese and butter out of oldish milk, so it was not wasted.

In Belgium, when temperatures rise, the government reminds us that it is important to take care of the most fragile. Mainly seniors, many of whom live alone. I am happy that this reminder is systematically issued because our society has become very indifferent to the elderly.
Funny thing is the elders are used to coping with temperatures, it’s the younger ones that get a shock and blame it on climate change coz they’re not used to temperatures changing

@@TayWoode Sometimes the elders don't feel thirsty. It's the main issue. Elderly people used to cope with high temperatures. But in the cities the situation has really changed. Here in Belgium, periods of heat wave cause temperatures to rise to 45° because the vast majority of trees have been felled. There is concrete everywhere and that is a big change.

@@TayWoode All geriatric nurses and all children who have very old parents know that old people often no longer feel thirsty. This is one of the major points of attention when the temperatures are high. I witnessed it with my parents.

I´m in Portugal and brits come here for our lovely hot summer. They look like lobsters because they don´t take care of themselves staying all day in the beach instead of avoiding the dangerous hours,that´s why they peel and get insolation.We don´t need our government meddling even more in our life than they already do - but we don´t have "betters",we are not subservient,we don´t bw and curtsy to anyone.

Many TV Stars aren't particularly nice people off camera, It's their job to come across as all sweetness & light, that's what they get paid big money for. But I understand the "Toxic Atmosphere" thing, been there, done that & complaining get's you nowhere because the heirarchy all have each others backs & best thing you can do is just move on. I'd love to meet Kim, I believe she say's what most of us think.
I think the audience keep the those people on air . All we have to do is not watch the program and once the ratings dropped so are the scumbags. It's the public who keep those false people on the show as they continue to watch them.
I cannot remember a time where there hasn't been a best before date on it. We currently have a milk shortage in the country (South Africa) because dairy farms have been run into the ground by the government and cronies. We need to rely on well pasteurised milk that have exact dates on the containers, otherwise we throw away gold. I'm buying long life milk at the moment because I cannot afford to waste a drop.

Oh what I would give for 30 degrees centigrade. That's a normal day in February or March for me. Scorching in Palm Springs, CA area is 120 F (48.888 centigrade) or higher. It's almost here. I need to go spend the next 3-4 months at a beach. Why I live here, I can't explain. I obviously need my head examined.

Fearne's earnt her stripes.

The Holly episode is hardly surprising. I'm actually baffled at everyone's shock. I worked for several local radio stations in the 90s and they are filled with aspirant Phil and Holly's. It's the norm. Hard working, ruthlessly ambitious narcissists (maybe with a journalism qualification) who are prepared to stab in the front, let alone the back, to get on. If glory and fame is to be had it attracts them like bees to honey. Nice, sweet, kind people are probably working in accounts or the local florists.
