Fable II was such a good game... The shock of the realisation that Oakvale had become a haunted marsh was something that I still remember clearly. At first I hated Reaver, but at some point he became my favourite character and then I had a huge crush on him (I was a silly teenager back then). You know the crazy Reaver fan from Fable III? That was basically me. I learned how to have lucid dreams so I could meet Reaver while dreaming and we'd go on an adventure. It almost worked; only, the Reaver I met was a huge disappointment, because he appeared a lot like Reaver, but had the face of my ATK teacher and acted like him too. I tried to hide my disappointment and ditched him by walking through the wall. Fun times.
Never played Fable, just randomly came here after learning Stephen Fry voice-acted for this game (he is Reaver). I swear, knowing Stephen's normal personality and way of speaking, this character must've been written FOR him lol.
It's definitely because I love Reaver. I play Fable 2 over and over again JUST to enjoy the Reaver missions! It's a shame you don't do a mission with him in Fable 3.
"If there's one thing I hate, it's an unfair fight." You mean like when you shot Weaver in the head without the proper duel that he challenged you to, Reaver?
14:32 I had ran ahead of him and on instinct shot them all. Reaver shot at the air and told me to tell my grandchildren, and that they would never believe me. Great game, 10/10, Reavers the best.
I only did the aging thing for my main (evil) character because it really adds to the evil demon look. With my massive, hulking white dreadlocked form.
If you listen to reavers diary by buying his mansion you'll find out about his quite tragic past I didn't mind him at first but I actually like him now in one of the diary pages he mentions this exact scene and the character you play and how he sent you to the shadow court
It's sad that I do not know enough people that have played this game. At age 25 I'm still saying Tatty-bye to everyone and they all look at me with utter confusion 😔
Gotta love that section of the game! :D Always admired Reaver for being the scab he is. Pityful that he and his village are have not to be visited until the end of the main story. Could have been material for genius moments! BTW: I never traded looks to help the woman (even playing good) in the cave, because my eyes turned red afterwards and I swear, that the Xbox's performance got worse by that. So, f'ya girl I don't know, take the seal and see what happens :D
Why does the middle Shadow judge have the same silhouette as Theresa? The same shifting of weight from side to side, the same hand motions and dress. Probably not related to the story but just something I've noticed..
There's been many theories on that & creepy pastas have been written. I thought it all made sense since she was a child in the first game & this took place 600 years after. But the creator actually had to come out & say that it was merely a case of copy & paste.
this part of the game would've been better if it wasn't for the fact that that the game was bugged for me and i had to spend hours looking through internet forums on how to fix it
Reaver was entertaining but I always wished you could screw him over in this mission. They kind of rob you of any real choice here for a very binary decision.
In my opinion, Fable 2 is the better one. Although I love the industrialized Albion and the story, Fable 3 misses some things that Fable 2 already had. As a long time PC-only player, I had Fable 2 after Fable 3 and I was thrilled about the possibilities and the dynamics of the game. Why did they go more than one step back in the next chapter? My theorie is, that the End of Lionhead (May it rest in peace!) already knocked on the door then...

What an insufferable twat. I love him. Best character in the franchise.

Huh... I've never heard Reaver's speech if you already have enough Renown on your first meeting.
Anyone else go absolutely feral when he says “there’s a good girl”?
No..?
Just me? Ok…
Far from alone lol
I just found out about Reaver after fawning over Gortash. Hearing good girl fucking sends me 🥴🥴🥴
Ayo chill everyone

Main reason I've played through this so many times tbh
Love Reaver so much. He might just be up there as my fave "villian" of all time. He's just so fucking extra.
I never noticed that Stephen Fry vocies him

when Reaver is a better villain than the actual villain, although he does have the natural character enhancement that is Sir Steven Fry
Stephen Fry was such a good choice
I literally play fable 2 and 3 OVER AND OVER AGAIN lol I did it for years and to this day I still do it lol

What does that mean, can’t be a misspelling can it?
