Thank you - there should be more coming soon assuming this weather improves…I think that’s the first time anyone has ever said my voice is soothing 🙂 The positive comments make making the videos worthwhile…
Stunning video - I really like the way you show the whole walk - great for seeing whether I might be able to do it before I start and for getting to know the route before I set off. We walked Pen-y-ghent last week - amazed that Hull Pot with the size of it could fill up!! that must have been one heavy downpour.
Glad you enjoyed our Pen-y-Ghent walk video - always good to get some positive feedback🙂 It was amazing how Hull Pot filled with water earlier this year…
We have just completed our hike up Pen y Ghent. Your video & description were really useful. We were lucky to be able to walk it in sunny mostly dry conditions! Just like to add, after our walk and returning to the Lion pub carpark a group of lovely ladies were serving tea and cake in St Oswalds church 2.30 - 4.30.
Glad you found the video useful and actually got one of the rare sunny days…there’s not been many of those of late! I’ve not been when they’ve been doing tea and cakes, but if I can find out whether it’s a regular thing I can add it to the walk on the website…
So glad you enjoyed it - always good to hear what people think of it 🙂 With the recent good weather I’ve got a few more filmed recently, so there should be more being added soon…
Thanks - Glad you are enjoying the videos - Pen-y-Ghent is a great walk. Hoping for some decent weather in the next 2-3 weeks so that I can do the whole Yorkshire 3 Peaks again…
Thanks and thanks for subscribing. It is a great area - should be back out there hopefully in the sun this weekend taking in Ingleborough and Simon Fell from the Hill Inn side…
Loved the video and the way you have done this. We are walking penyghent next week as part of our training for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks - just hoping this rain stops!
well done sir i aim to do this climb in the near future, have watched a few other videos but came accross your video it was brilliant jotted down all your comments and i am looking forward to the climb. many thanks
Beautiful video, I’m planning to do this walk this weekend and this is excellent for running through whilst looking at my OS map and making notes so I know where I’m going and what views Ill see (weather permitting) thank you!
Glad you enjoyed. The weather is looking pretty good for the weekend, so you should get some decent views. Horton can get quite busy weekends in June. Besides the pay and display car park, there is some additional parking behind the golden lion, in a layby about 100 yards before the golden lion (coming from settle side) and some roadside parking just over the bridge near the crown heading towards the station.
@@walks4all thanks for your text sorry to say due to a family problem unable to climb penny y gent, tried again later in the month but could not move In Horton Car park full cars every where lots of fell runners so thought we would go to the hel with bridge tavern for lunch. Struggled to park car called into pub was told no tables available till 7.30 PM so thought head back home on way called into a pub in gargrave had a nice meal Home to Halifax. Back from family holiday 22nd August determined to climb before end of month. Will reply to your text and hope to send a photo or two. Many thanks take care Darrell naylor
It might have been the pen-y-ghent fell race, that's in June. Hopefully you'll manage to climb it next time. If you are heading back down the a65, the gamecock inn at austwick does nice food as well.
I think there’s about 20 on UA-cam - I’ve quite a few more video’d they need editing though before I upload. There is a map view of them here: www.walks4all.com/walks/ I’ll hopefully start uploading quite a few Lake District ones early next year.
Hands down the best walking channel, with genuinely useful videos. They’re beautifully made and the narration is really soothing 😊

Some say the crown isn’t people friendly never mind dogs, great video.
Glad you enjoyed the video. I couldn’t possibly comment…but maybe a reason I haven’t been in for a while 🙂

Keep meaning to ask - did you manage to do the walk for your birthday? Did you enjoy Pen-y-Ghent?

How many videos of walks do you have?

How long does this walk take?
Quite wide range of times as depends on fitness levels and walking speed, but average time is probably around 2 hours 40 minutes.
Ppl grow marijuana in Hull pot, I guess that's where it's got the name 😂
Maybe…plenty of ‘pots’ around there, so should be a decent supply!
