- Dan DeEntremont Productions released their second trailer for their upcoming sandbox game Squirrel with a Gun today during Summer of Gaming. The trailer features the squirrel's gun-toting origin story (of sorts), plenty of hilarious shenanigans, and most importantly: a Bond-like theme song for our furry protagonist.

The industry needs more games like this honesrly .. just dumb fun hilarious concepts like this, there’s really so many outlandish things that games can do, but the triple A space is so obsessed with being taken serious and being cinematic u just don’t see stuff like this often enough .. obviously there’s a place for serious cinematic games, but I’d love to see more wild stuff like this

This looks like the kind of story where, if it were turned into a movie, Nicolas Cage would be cast in it as, if not a central character, then a incredibly plot-significant cameo.

Squirrel with a Gun follows the antics of a fiendish squirrel after his escape from a secret lab. Players will be able to bound around town, terrorizing their neighbors, running from agents, and blasting their way through platforming puzzles.
So it's NOT a secret agency's new life of defense against enemy organizations plotting to take over the world? Darn! That would have been so cool.
