I love how there is a bunch of sound effects and references of the Mafia franchise, and just a bit of the GTA trilogy, really adds depthness to the plot

This was really enjoyable to watch. The cinematics, the tension, the suspense, and it all feels like a legitimate story of revenge.
The callback to Rise and Fall makes me think this is after such, and before the one where Squidward is separate from Spongebob. Maybe he escaped before Plankton wanted to start anew, desiring to see an old friend.
Yeah I'm still trying to figure out where this sits in the timeline since this takes place after patricks death, yet spongebob is still alive.

I have a feeling that I really watched an action movie from the 90s, with a cool plot and memorable characters. And the ending brought me to tears.

The fact that half of these shots look like they're just mods of Mafia cutscenes with SpongeBob characters is kind of surreal.
Gangster SpongeBob is officially my personal favorite show in the entire universe, i get that the idea of SpongeBob characters being gangsters and doing gang wars is supposed to be a joke, but to me, this is perfect cinematography, the absolute best of the best, the story, the Arc's, hell, even when SpongeBob almost Fucking dies in that one episode, its all perfect to me, and thats what makes it a great and amazing show to me

most gripping story, filled with references, great action and iconic characters, what could you ask more
An underrated masterpiece even though it was out only for 7 hours. I've seen all the tiny mistakes or workarounds and actually I think they add to the experience, really loved the car chase scenes.
These are like a fever dream in adolescence. The merging of childhood fantasy and pseudo adult themes. It's beautiful!

dude this was so amazing the creator obviously knows what he’s doing, i wouldn’t doubt he could make a master peice if he wrote a story more serious but this was hilarious
I'm very conflicted if this is really the finale of gangster spongebob.
If I were to fit this in a timeline I have a feeling that this is only a sequel to "Rise and Fall" and a prequel to "Bikini Bottom is Yours" for reasons like:
1. Sandy and Mermaid Man being alive in this film even though they were murdered in Bikin Bottom is yours.
2. The general themeing of the Era this film is set in which is the mid 40s where Rise and fall was 20s and Bikini Bootom is your is the 80s. These character might definitely be living pass their sell by date, but in a world with contemporary edgy humor and memes, suspending disbelief to these concepts is easy.
3. Mr. Krabs posses a strange looking glass eye with no pupil which is a refrence when Spongebob blew out his eye in Rise and Fall meaning this takes place after Rise and Fall at least.
4.Patrick death was referenced as a kill order meaning it takes place after Rise and fall.
While I have no real evidence for this part. When Squidward was arrested in suspiciously anachronistic clothing. I think this is the set up to the tradgedy that happens in Biknin Bottom is yours.
But I could also be completely wrong as I find it hard to believe that Spongebob (if is really him) was for a few moments working with Krabs with the Robux robbery despite him shooting his eye out from earlier.
I believe the timeline is Rise and Fall, Kill Krabs, and then The World is Yours.

This probably the best thing I've watched in months. And I mean that unironically
I'm not joking when i say that the first time I saw the trailer i got goosebumps. And now, when I finished this video I felt a little bit disappointed.
Don't get the wrong idea, I still enjoyed this film, for me it's an 8/10, but seeing everything made so "quickly", i felt like there was so much potential wasted (and it's ok, I know that you don't want to spend so much time on something like that for free, even tho i would've given thousands of dollars seeing something with the same artstyle, no-sense and story with a big budget, for fucks sake I would even skip my grandmas funeral seeing something like that).
But like, if I've seen more scenes with the trio and their relationship, if I've felt the emotions, the thoughts, the trust and distrust of every member of the mafia and if the fights lasted longer, this would've been a timeless masterpiece. And I don't want to shit-talk, I'm just complaining that just 1 guy decided to do something like this.
Still, you did an incredible job, you should be proud of yourself for these videos and I can't wait for the sequel!

Hello! I actually wanted to do something like this, when planning this video back in January. But I decided not to use it, because I thought that it would make my video even more longer. And as I found out UA-cam viewers doesn’t fully enjoy such deep plots, More people would watch light, fun, and not so complicated video, than deep videos, like woodys redemption. At least, I agree with you, that more closer look on their relations would be epic
Also, I remembered planning to add scene, where trio would just ride, listen music and chat with each other after robbery. But it would be good for 30 minute long film, but not for me, my opinion.
Thank for criticism, I will pay more attention to this aspect, when I will make next video.

Spongebob lost his friend in a sacrifice from the Krabs Family after an argument turned into an attempted killing between friends, and then an assassination hit from the Krabs Family. (Rise and Fall)
Plankton would work with, and then later betray Spongebob with Squidward in a plea deal that saw Sponge dead, and his son in their hands- a lesson in greed that came from the hands of treachery. (The World is Yours)
Squidward, while he did kill Patrick and soon Spongebob in the later times, saw himself working with his former and future victim, his future co-op, all to take down the one person who treated them like shit and betrayed them. But his fate was harder than perhaps Spongebob- he got caught by the feds one day and was forced to work for them- to wrap up old loose ends and betray Spongebob. (Kill Krabs)
