- There are many different factors involved in charging an electric car. In this video, Kate Reid explains some of the numbers around charging a Porsche Taycan.
Kate is the founder and co-owner of Lune Croissanterie in Melbourne, Australia. Before she founded Lune she was working as an aerodynamicist in Formula One.

From F1 to being a chef? Wow.
I'm' a simple man
I see croissant, I upvote
The most perfect video that demonstrate the state of art technology versus Tesla
Nur Porsche macht Träume wahr. Dieses Auto ist was ganz besonderes!
Indeed my friend
Well done video!
Great thanks for best of the best explain how to fast charging
Nice
I'm not a numbers guy - so for me I get the more substantial the system/architecture = the faster the charge. Just like more bhp = go faster. The croissant technology was fascinating (I'd watch a VLOG of production of them in there own right). Kudos to the presenter, but I'm afraid an Ozzie accent to my international English mother tongue ear is way down on my list of charming English accents. German English = Technical Expert : Fantastic; "European" English accents - charming but I'm less keen on souther hemisphere accents (sorry no offence intended). The slightly wooden delivery (reading the script) didn't help but I must say, all in all a very interesting insight. Now - where can I get one of those tasty croissants .....?
93.4kw/h 🤦
Yeah, can't believe no engineer reviewed this video.
Its KW? I am not an engineer, just curios.
@@djprojectus kW measures power so it is used to rate the engine or the charger, power can be called as the ability to provide energy. Energy on the other hand can be measured in several units, one being kWh (and not kW/h which isn't anything). If the video said the battery rating in calories or joules with would be better (but not as useful from a practical pov compared to kWh).
Thanks
Those croissant looks so tasty
ARE YOU GET CREATE A PORSCHE CAYMAN CONCEPT PLEASE
As a total fan of burning Dino juice with a 6 speed in hand we all have to eventually give way to electric powered cars. I just hope that it won’t be illegal to run gas propelled vehicles in the future.
If there are no electric charging stations nearby can I fill it with petrol during such emergencies?
Cyril no there is no engine
It is a electric car with battery.
Taycan should've used a more expensive charger to avoid that recent recall of battery losing cells. Now they are lying to customers about the issue and charging them how to fix it
could do with hairnets and dispossible gloves in your bakery
giving food examples with electric car./:):)
Does it have a combustible turbo like in an engine? It’s confusing with the name turbo...
Это уже не порш...
Should have been called Taycan E-Turbo and Taycan E-Turbo S
ADON1SV your right that’s sounds actually good instead of a fake turbo car because otherwise the Tycan is sick
I honestly don’t know why people are getting so hung up about the word ‘turbo’.. it’s simply the trim level of the car. Some ovens, vacuums and showers are described as having ‘turbo power’ but I’m sure there are no turbo’s in them. Porsche are innovators and lead where others follow.. watch this space as all other car manufactures adopt the ‘turbo’ description moving forward. Stay safe 🤟
@@benmisk4624 Yeah, but actually e turbo is also a term in the combustion vehicle. A turbo charged with an little e motor for air instead of the normal turbo.
@@rapscallion7738 Those convection ovens and vacuums actually have turbines, where as this does not.
@Tony Fruzza ovens have fans and heaters, vacuums have motors and fans.. jet engines and power stations have turbines.
Having a party at mine this weekend, come along... bet you’re really interesting 😆🤣
No subtitles and I give you thump down
She speaks English. What kinda subtitles do you want, thumper?
Can I have a free Porsche idk why I just want one, I don’t have any money sorry

ChirpywaraTofu86 common man I’m sure Porsche has a few cars two spare my local dealership has two 918 spyders 30 tycans and a bunch of 911s 😂
@@benmisk4624 r/youngpeopleyoutube
ChirpywaraTofu86 my guy I can’t even drive and I understand that people spend there lives saving up for fancy cars like Porsches and if you do post this to Reddit this response probably won’t be on it but i just want you to understand that im joking besides Porsches social media director doesn’t have the authority to give a Porsche to a random teen
ChirpywaraTofu86 also you post roblox car videos and drifting memes so yah I’m the young person
PORSCHE HATERS TELSA LOVERS BEAT IT WITH THE DISLIKES..
