sorry about the muted portion towards the end! it got copyright claimed :( basically all you're missing from that segment is me talking about how the typeface for the shows title is really cool due to the handdrawn nature of it. The use of the shattered moon as the "O" and the wave as the "A" was a dynamic way to pull the plot of the show into the typeface of the title! This pilot was super cute and I'm glad to have watched it.
If you want another indie animation, 'Ramshackle (Pilot)' by Zeddyzi came out a few days ago. More chaotic than this one but equally made with lots of love and pasion.
on subtitles: I am not hard of hearing but when a conversation fades into the background for different conversation and only the main conversation is shown in subtitles I feel the same way.
Port by the Sea really reminds me of a lot of Disney TV shows, including SU like you said. It was so entertaining Also would really love for you to react to the Pilot for another indie animation that just came out called Ramshackle! It's also really good with great music and something else in particular I KNOW you'd love!
Theory, the kids seeking the pieces to restore the moon are the other Titans, sacrifice destroyed their original celestial bodies so these are like reincarnations of them, maybe forgot what they were and did something that destroyed the moon *curiosity making them explore their memories and tricked or messed up something*...so yeah long short dead gods reincarnate and without their powers or full memories are either tricked or mess around with stuff they saw fragments of in their dreams or memories and end up releasing the imprisoned titan *or parts of it, get the feeling the pieces of the moon are like pieces of its soul infusing with whatever they touch*. Note: the silhouettes of the kids kind of work with the titans, and yeah the crab might be one of the three as well...
When I was first watching it I already loved the whole thing, but then the music in the ending hit and AAAAHH it's from one of my all-time favorite albums (it's Hawaii: part II by Miracle Musical, you should really listen to it)
I get the Steven Universe look to it, the tone of the pilot itself reminds me more of Over The Garden Wall: a miniseries released on Cartoon Network back in 2014. Since you are looking for suggestions for other indie cartoons, around the time I saw this, I also saw a pilot for a show called Ramshackle. It's about three orphans living on the streets in a Victorian Era or Wild West type of town. In the pilot, they happen to find a baby.
Few Videos back you said your style based on lavender town is that lavender town who just made disease into monster if so a other artist you may like neytririx

I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my frustration
Another perfect reaction by you!! 100/10, keep up the great work!
Thank you! Will do!
Lovecraft Steven? Gotcha!
The story is very reminiscent to Lovecraft's C'thullu mythos

Well, in terms of fledging animation projects, both “Satina” and “Ramshackle” might be worth a look.
"Life is full of dead ends. One day you will run into your own."
that is a fucking hard quote!
It's not a pilot, but it should be.
There is a short animation called Not My Velma, which is really cool. I highly recommend it.
I love this one
EVOL I FINISHED THE CROWN FOR YOU!!!
If you didn't already know; Jolly Roger is named after pirate flags, and Port is named after the left side of a ship and where they dock.

something else I'm only noticing on a second viewing, our two main characters seem to be the only humans with noticable fangs.
Always look forward to your uploads, nevaeh, and yes, I made sure I' spelled your name correctly 😆
I hope ya liked this one! and omg I'm so flattered
