No bbq guys are cringing at this video. Awesome job dude. You make me want to buy a ranger. That damn kitchen in the truck is nicer than my house! Keep the videos coming 👍🏼
This IS the most in depth video for the Trager Ranger. Iv watch nearly every video of this cooker and have always decided to not buy one. This has made me decide to by one just because EVERYTHING is shown on how to use these and set them up. Well done mate
You all are living the life! Found the way to combine work and fun together. Too cool!!
OH-MY-GOD I love this guy. I love the use of the blower also lol:) Great personality. Also, this is the best real world review of this grill I have found, Great work and thank-you for sharing!
Love you guys. Thank you for honest down to earth videos. Love seeing you happy together. From an admirer living on the Caribbean island of Curacao.
I’ve been using a pellet grill for a couple years now. I think you did fine on the tri-tip. Looked delicious. I can see a new series coming. The Crafty Griller😊. Been a subscriber for about 8 months now. Love the videos.
I’m glad I found you all, you seem like really great people. Thanks for the video, I think I may order one !
Great review! As long as you like the food your cooking who cares how you "should" be grilling, looked great to me! Thank you for your service as a trucker and great videos.
Hey Jason! It’s your Grill and your Channel so you Cook it Exactly how you Like 👍 to Prepare it. Enjoy! 👍
I've been running Traegers for 20+ yrs. Might have to look into this one.👍
I have had my treager for about 10 years and let me tell you.. I love my Treager and everyone who eats off of it loves it also.
Congratulations on Reaching 40,000+ Subscribers. 👏 YEA! 👏 You two (2) are a Great Trucking Team. 👍
Thanks a bunch Ken!! 😃🥳
Hi Jason & Heather!! Looks so good!! I've got a Camping World near me Hahahaha Thank you for sharing!! Peace, Love, & Expediting!
You two are awesome, the tri tip looks great and I love my treagers, will be picking up this one for our summer camping this year, didn't even know they make a portable thanks for the video
You guys are the best!!DOWN TO EARTH!!
I’d have to say you did good as a rookie pit master. I personally like to pull off at 120 internal then seat until it gets to 128-130
Yum. That looks delicious. Thanks for sharing the info! 💚
I'm a bbq man and not cringing at all - you did perfect! - great job on the video!
That does look like a nice grill, we smoke with pecan wood love the flavor of the wood, great job Jason the pups looking for a taste of that meat to cute ❤
Great video! You explained how to use the unit really well. AND, you've inspired us to slow down during the cooking process (don't crank the temp up
so we can eat ASAP)! Thanks so much ... Be well ...
You two rock! My wife and I started the video hoping to learn about the Traeger, but were mesmerized by your joy and enthusiasm. A Traeger is in my future.
LOL thanks so much. Hope you enjoy it as much as us
I see you have 2 happy meals on stand bye just in case the tri tip didn't turnout to good😉😉
😜 Our friend PJ came to say hi while we were there and brought those for the babies 🐶
I have the full size traeger and I love it. If yours cooks as good as mine you'll love it. I'm not anywhere near a cooking superstar but the traeger definitely helps. Set it and almost forget it. Thanks for the videos. Oh yeah I almost forgot, momma crafty, my wife has been cooking some of your recipes and we really enjoyed them. Thanks for that. Especially the one with the cheese, egg and almond flour. It's our replacement for bread and taco shells. 👍
Great video yall. I was in the market for an electric smoker and yall sold me on this one. Thanks for doing this.
Wow, what an awesome video. You are such a humble human being. Thank you for keeping it real. I have been cooking on a traeger for almost 20 years and you are exactly right, anybody can be a grill master with a traeger. I am picking up a ranger this weekend for our camper van.God bless you and your puppies!
Thank you so very much. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We use it all the time. It has held up real good
Something you might want to do. I learned on my treager to wrap the outside of grease bucket with aluminum foil then pull it off of outside and use it for liner inside. You won't have to haul a greasy bucket around.
I just bought a Ranger yesterday...always looking for hacks like this! Also, has anyone put handles on the side yet?
Good video it showed a lot.Happy motoring & cooking.
That was a awesome video I’m a 25 year veteran of our driver off the road now but will be buying this for the beach thanks for the awesome video and wow u guys can cook
Excellent and informative video! Tri-tips can be a pain because of the sizes, but oh so good! You can't beat them for the left overs sandwiches or street tacos! Thanks for sharing.......:)
Thanks for actually cooking on it. I just ordered one, I've got the Pro 780 a home.
I think you did a great job! I just found your channel and I subbed - but realized you’re no longer filming 😢. We aren’t truckers, but we’re RV’ers and fellow grill/smokers so thank you for your content!
Nice grill table, heat resistant and fully adjustable too.
LOOKS Good!!!
That grill is awesome! The tri-tip looked delicious. I've never cooked one before, so now I have to get one and grill it up! Thanks for sharing the grill and all the fun you guys get up to.
It’s kind of hard to find, may have to ask your butcher. If you do find it though you love it
Awesome video bud! Man I need this when we can finally go camping
Man that look real good am going to look into that grill ok in joy the meal stay safe
Thank you so much for this video, I found out about this grill from this video and purchased for our rv, we have been using ours for a coulple weeks now and it's the best set it an forget it grill for the rv. It's like having our silverton with us on the road. I did sirloin cap roast last night, cooked for 6hrs and almost no work to monitor so I wanted to come back and tell you how much we love it and say thank you. Stay safe
That’s so awesome! Glad you are enjoying it!
Excellent explanation of how to use the Traeger Ranger..I had never heard of this before..Good to know..Steak looked delicious..Making me very hungry..Lol..Thank you for the video..Stay safe..Have a blessed day..
Wow I was looking at pellet grills yesterday... Thanks for sharing today.... I have to get one for sure... Your babies really love the new grill...lol Take care and be safe
You looked excited for that grill! Now I'm hungry!
I’m definitely buying that grill that try tip looks amazing 👍🏽👍🏽
I rarely comment on any video I watch and I really felt I needed to thank you for this video. I have been shopping for a table top smoker for the last year for myself, even though I bought my husband one a full size one for christmas last year. I wanted one for myself to use for smaller size meals or to put in camper. I ordered this exact one this morning and wasn't sure about it. you really gave the " how to use" and how big it was and it could be do-able for me who has never smoked anything in my life . thank you so much for this video. ps. I've never seen anybody on any other video's show that little button in the middle to check meat temp of the probe. never even thought of it until you pointed it out. I would have thought it was broken or user error hahaha
Lol glad it helped. We’ve had the grille a few years now and still love it. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do
The grill is a handy size. It would fit in most area's of a RV or truck. Thanks for the video.
Just a side note , something we experienced traveling with a Tregar and having the pellets already loaded. The pellets from the vibration of driving packed in the auger and smoke began rolling out of the pellets bin. Just some info from what we experienced. Great video !
Truckin with a Traeger?😱 bro! That's next level 😎🙏 got one at home! But, the best cut of beef for a Traeger is a Tri Tip!!! Awesome video bro !!!🙌
Thank you for this video sir 👍👍🇺🇸 very helpful before buying it.
You’re very welcome. You will love it. We actually got a beautiful pork butt on the grill right now (wish we could share a pic here)
BBQ on Pecan Wood alone is Great. I also use Pecan Chips to Smoke Pork Steaks & Ribs. Yum! 👍
Really thinking about getting one of these. Thanks for the review. 👍
We’ve had it a few years now and still love it
What a jolly couple & happy dogs! You sold me! Just got one! Happy Trails.
Thank you so much
Wow 🤩 fantastic....you guys are one of my favorite UA-camrs.....take care of yourselves stay safe
Thanks Bill!
Hi Ms. Heather and Jason, I know I said I am in the process of lease purchasing my own truck and lease it on with a company with my dad, but after watching another informational video, I might just hold off and come run with you two for a while!! Lol. Ttyl. Take care and be safe.
I have the Asmoke AS 350 very similar and let me tell ya does a great job putting smoke rings in , use with vegetables as well.
Thanks for the review! I own a regular Traeger but have always wondered how well this road version did. Nicely done!
Thanks
That is awesome. Do not worry about the internet critics. They did not get to enjoy such a treat.
Very very cool Jason... Good eats are always hard to find, but you have mastered it..... Good loads and safe driving........
Thank you sir. I’m like a kid in the candy store with this thing lol. Be safe sir hope all is well
@@TheCraftyTrucker Calling me sir is like calling an outhouse a mansion LOL.... However, thanks Jason for your reply. You are welcome to call me Pete or really whatever you want,, I don't offend easy. I'm a small copy of you I think, I like the things you do too like, driving, working on my own stuff when I can, and having the right tools for the job, sleeping with the animals, etc. I think you'd love my garage, but you manage quite well to my surprise working outside and you have yet to make a bad "how to" video. I'm sure Heather enjoys you doing some cooking and the steak did look delicious. You both make a great team regardless what you are doing. I certainly gave you a thumbs up on your video, and wish you good luck with your grilling skills as practice makes perfect, but I have no remarks towards your cooking, other than I think it was a great idea to get that grill and you seem to use it well. Life can be short, so the money you spent on it is not very important as both you guys work hard and deserve treats and toys yourselves and, in this case you both benefit from it. As always, thanks for sharing and you, and Heather, & the babies stay safe is this unpredictable world right now.
I'm from the UK and only just found out about the Traeger Ranger grill and oh my god, what a wonderful invention!!!! That meat looks delicious too, thanks so much for great informative video, your passion for BBQ is infectious mate, keep up the great work!!!!!
Thank you so much. Hope you enjoy the grill as much as we do
Like that you got more than one use for that tail lift lol love the videos 👍
Perfect for my apartment balcony 👍👍👍
Great review! FWIW, I've found that 110 internal temperature with a 2-3 minute sear works well for medium-rare tri-tip.
Loved the video. I do a ton of smoking my family loves it. This is probably way overkill but one thing I do is keep track with a spreadsheet of the weight of the food and internal and cooking temp of each smoke. Then record the result so we can futher tweak the next time.. By doing that I have been able to dial in the cooking , to get very consistent cooking each time. I too liked the height adjustable table on the back of your truck 😁.
As a classically trained chef now an OOIDA member I’m a snob when it comes to food & or Cooking but I got to tell you that I love you zeal for finding something “BETTER” That what sets us apart from the run of the mill microwave road jockeys you see in truck stop parking lots across America! Good for you I am Now a Subscriber thanks for being better then the average Trucker!
Thank you very much
Yes!!!!! I knew y'all would love it!!! Yay pressure from your friends in Nevada hahaha!!
#itsyourfault 🤪
That's a cool grill got to really look into one
Great video buddy! Truckers rule!!!
Heather & Jason for the feet on the Grill permatex brand makes a high temp epoxy that you can use.Stay Safe
Thank you Jack :) We’ll have to look for that.
Love watching your videos Just ordered my 1st t-shirt xx
Thank you very much Tom :)
More grilling videos please ! Be safe out there, peacefrom510 .
30 seconds in and I already love this guy
Lol thanks so much
You guys are awesome! Not sure which I liked best…you two or the ranger. I’ll be buying the ranger AND following you guys!
Look good I like the cookers
It's cool good I what one to thanks for shareing
Keep grilling buddy, that’s how you learn.
Thanks for the vid!
Good job man I'm picking one up today
Nice video. Good thing I already had supper or you would have made me hungry. Even Heather
got a taste test. Way to go gang.
Thank you Marvin :)
It's an excellent product. Banshee Moon does an excellent review on it as well, even though I get distracted for some odd reason while watching her reviews ....lol
I'll just go to a Texas Roadhouse and relax while waiting for the best "Fall off the bone" ribs....
Safe weekend you two . From Washington Court House, Ohio
Very cool grill. Now I'm Hungary!
Peace love and expediting. Poke her in the nose. 😂😂😂😂😂. Love it.
Wow cool channel guys! Just subscribed & looking for more awesome content thanks!
Thanks for the video.
hey if you haven't figured this out a lil silicone chalk to keep the rubber feet on. then you can still remove them if needed............... tip 2 and 3 put foil over the drip pan and the in the grease can to make cleanup way easier. thnx for the review. :D
Definitely gonna get one for my truck
Okay, I'm sold.. I want to get one for my son he's the BBQ master he tells the family, it looks so easy and I love how you can cool it down...good job guys...Peggy
Dont get him one. BBQ guys make fun of these.
@@two-bit8502 Yeah so I hear... I'm glad I'm not a barbecue master.... But with my Traeger everyone thinks I am 😁
We love this grill and use it every chance we get. I’ve made the best brisket and ribs ever! Steaks are amazing too! Heck I’ve even cooked hot dogs on it!
I still want to do bacon & eggs. Stay safe friend 😘
Nice review. I’ll be getting mine on Friday.
Great video and thanks for sharing. I'm waiting on my Ranger to arrive any day now. From what I've read the Ranger pulls 400Watts in the first few minutes of heating up, then drops over time. So, surprisingly not a lot of power is consumed. I bought a 12VDC inverter to take along when camping. Safe Travels.
Yes, I watched a video earlier today of someone running his Ranger off one of those battery jump packs for jump starting your car. It still has 3 out of 4 bars of power left in the pack when he was done.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
You did a great job!
You guys have "roughing it" perfected
Right on bud!!
If you get some heat shrink you can heat shrink the legs and it will be just like those rubber boots for the legs and just replace when they are worn out, I like the video good job 👍
We love our grill. We use the liners from traeger for easy cleanup. If you download their ap, they give recipes and cook times
I was wondering how the liners worked. We’ll have to pick some up thank you :)
NICE! Perfect for you guys, would be great for camping also, yousaa!!! I would douse that with Open Pit sauce!!!
WOW, that’s it im going to get one Thank you. But need a cook
Great video guys keep it up!
Thank you!
They do well with a brisket an or a pork shoulder. This stove is over the top with smoked Mac an cheese
Good Job buddy!
Also the difference between your Ranger and yhe Scout it the 2 inch metal hopper topper. Making it easier to let it run for longer without having to open and reload with pellets.
Nice! I've been looking at smaller pellet grills. The one I have is 200 pounds and not easy to move around.
Amazing video!
looks delicious !
