Richard you are the Jockey i always liked to see riding winners. This was when I was in high school and knew nothing about horse racing. I still remember listening to radio commentary of your ride on Red Cockade. Later i joined Mysore Race Club and worked till 2005 ending up as Asst Administrator and Chief Accounts Officer. I remember meeting you, Freddied and Ernie Alford during my employment with MRC.. Dont know whether you remember me. How are you and Ernie ? God bless you

it's really well made video. despite the short format a complete story is told. hats off. being someone associated with racing in Calcutta I felt really good seeing this video. as someone else stated being a half bred Indo Anglo mix I feel racing is certain in our genetics.
Rutherford Alford should do greatness in training too as well as c Alford now won his first classic too as a horse racing lover i always loved Calcutta centre
Hats off to Alford family who are in racing profession since five generation.Richard,Earnie n Rutherford were very talented jockeys. To day Christopher is doing his job.Rutherford story is tragic but he is very bold n working as a trainer.Amszing.
I believe r alford rode midnight cowboy in the 70's..and another called aqila (miserable horse)then there were the reuben brothers..very good jockeys all of them..i remember playing rummy with the alfords when they lived in hastings..good old days..
Well Nelson.. what about Shane and your brother Melvin and Malcom don't know when was this shoot but during the good old days there wore quite many of you guys..
@@richardalford7251 Hi Richard, yes they are really dumb. I am Christopher N S and I worked as Asst Administrator and Chief Accounts Officer at Mysore Race Club till 2005. Even before i joined Mysore race club and knew nothing much about horse racing, i used to follow you and your performances . I still remember Mid Night Cowboy, Red Cockade, Royal challenge and all. You won Mysore Derby on Mid Night Cowboy for Maharani of Cooch Bihar and if i am correct Sydney Moses trained it. I met you when you came to Mysore and raced your horses as a Trainer. I knew Ernie also well. He used to ride and come to my chamber sit and talk to me. How are you all ? Big man you may not remember me. Hows Ernie ? There was another jockey riding by name Freddie Alford. Well you may not but i remember you
