- OUR FIRST JIMNY EVER!!
So you know we had to go ham… I mean HAMMER. Starting off this build with the bad ass king series bar fitted with some ignite lights which make it look subtle and tough at the same time. 30mm, 40mm, 60mm?? Nah how about 80mm tough dog lift kit to help us fit some 16inch black rhino wheels wrapped with some nittos. Massive shoutout to Antony like all our customer we treat them like family and take pride in their vehicles more then other places…. Don’t believe us?? @@AutoCrazeAu Respect that you're building within regulations. Too many vids with 31's and 2 meter lifts without mentioning it needs an Engineering Certificate.
Questions though, how is the 80mm lift and 245/70R16 tyres within regulations?
NSW's max lift increase (tyres and suspension combined) is 75mm. Just the lift itself has exceeded what they'll allow.
A Jimny's stock 195/80R15 tyres is 27.28" tall. NSW allows a 7% increase in tyre size over stock, so max tyre size allowed would be 29.19". But 245/70R16's are 29.5" tall, which is more than the max allowed.
Tell me I've misinterpreted something cos I wanna go bigger myself (legally)!
