@SloppyNoSeconds me too! My BF had a 98 Z, but I used to always race/drive it. He used to just give it to me for a week at a time usually, just made sure we raced on the weekends. I got my 02 SS on September 13th 2001. Only has around 9700 miles on it now. Not getting rid of it, my daughter will end up with it. The only thing I’ve done to it is BMR lowering springs and Weld S71s. It was completely stock until last Feb. down to the original wheels and tires.

This is a sexy 4th Gen. While EARLY 1st Gen big mouth grille will always be my favorite, it seems as of late that some 3rd Gen builds are really renewing my childhood interest in the cars that I used to love before driving age and as things go, some of the new 4th Gen builds have me falling in love with THAT platform once again, as in my younger years.
Lol yea man when you’re talking on camera you don’t realize you say certain things multiple times. I’ve done it myself plenty of times. Definitely not easy

Very nice and the fact that you drive it to meets and races is very impressive. And for a car that was neglected, you shined it up like a diamond. Same for the wheels, nice build.

Yeah no. Sorry bro but you don't have to make things up to be accepted. There is no such thing as a 2000 35th Anniversary Camaro. There is simply no way you're truth telling. Bye.

Yeah it seems no matter what rims you get, they all require some grinding on the calipers. I have JMS Avengers on the back of mine, 15×10 and they said they bolted on. They did, but not really lol. Couldn't turn. You can fit some pretty big tires though without doing much. I have 28" tall, 13.50 wide hoosier quick time pros and all I had to do was cut the bump stops off and a little spot toward the front inside of the wheel well and bang in the inside a little with a hammer. No fender rolling. I have BMR 1.25-1.5" drop springs in the back too so it can be done with relatively little work. One thing I wasn't aware of was running staggered wheels will mess with your abs. Idk how to remedy that yet but I'll figure it out. The speed sensors just freak out spinning different speeds.
@@trevonwilson1 really the tires weren't the issue. The problem was the rim rubbing the caliper. Hence all the grinding. It didn't take much to make the tires fit. The point of my reply was really to make people aware that these wheels that say they bolt right on, never really do. At least most of them. I think maybe bogarts will work without grinding the calipers but I have never used them so I can't vouch for them.

Even as a Mustang owner, you have to respect the time, effort and money to make such a bad ass build like this! Well done!
Not really. Mustang owners don't typically respect anything. Especially spectator safety 😉

Do you have a filter or screen to use on the turbo for longer street drives? Seems like leaving it open is asking for trouble.
