Brigadier General Teferi Benti was the de facto President of Ethiopia from November 1974 to January 1977. He was rather a God-fearing army professional caught off guard in the ensuing power struggle that ultimately brought his undoing.This part of the piece actually has rare footages of the General's voice. And a rare footage of Mengistu Hailemariam shortly after an attempt on his life. These unique footages were dubbed from the original 16 mm films.The video was produced by Aberra Sahlie in March 2002 (Megabit 1994 E.C.).

Why is it so hard to find footage like this, especially in decent quality? I want to make historical vids in English and edit them a bit but it's impossible to find good material. Any recommendations? Thanks
