I remember 20 years ago, I was working for a company that was security for a warehouse company. The bosses of both companies were best friends. I was asked if I wanted to work security detail for the fence or guard rail next to the big park closest to the end of the cliff side drive... I said sure... extra money never hurt. So I was told to go back and forth asking people who came close to the guard rail not to go over it because on the other side there is a fall full of the biggest rocks all the way down to the ocean. I spent 12 hours in that summer heat and forgot to use sunblock and everyone there was there for the warehouse company picknick. End of the year celebration. Many people hoped over to take pictures and selfies. And I got them all back without a problem. Except one. It's stayed with me. I never worked for a security company again and never did security guard work. It's not worth your life if it's something stupid. People kept jumping over for pictures. How unbelievably stupid.

I've been to this park many times. They have made some improvements but I remember in the early 80s it was very easy to fall off the cliffs. I went to Pt Fermin for our 6th grade picnic and that day a man fell to his death. It's roughly a 200ft drop and big rocks on the bottom...
