I refused to disagree with a word that you said about the very great Jack Charlton, He lifted the Irish people up onto their feet and made them dance and smile and shout with joy

It's difficult to impersonate Jack Charlton, the accent's easy but it's the texture of his voice, he speaks softly over a deep baritone, tough to replicate unless your balls are slapping the back of your knees
I don't watch football anymore and perhaps it's because you don't have character like these guys today. The skill level may be better in today's premiership but I can't relate to anyone who plays the game. Charlton, Best and Marsh are lads you could have a pint with.
I've got my photograph with Jack Charlton at a Pub In my Town after I had just come out my 5 week Coma...European Cup Winner and on Middlesbrough School of Excellence under 12's was the furthest my football Career went...
Jack trying to point out in general it's better to have a team player rather than a team catering to one player, and also as a team player Le Tissier doesn't do enough. They didn't seem to pick up on it, or maybe not want to.
You’re right. They did not pick up on it. Because the host was a comedian, George had drunk too much & Marsh just didn’t get it because he was a player like Le Tissier who did not work for the team.
He was a big star long before we even heard of John, and Justin was a much nicer person. Scored a brilliant goal of the season for Norwich against Liverpool in 1980.
Skysports also cut off Gary Neville taking about racism in early 2020, infact the presenter apologised. Few months later they won't shut up about black lives matter as if they have been fighting racism forever

George had too many hangers on who did not have his best interest at heart. But he was on good form earlier that evening. ua-cam.com/video/wGy8Nf2M4e8/v-deo.html
This was a TV programme meant to entertain the normal "Football Supporter", the guy who pays his hard earned money at the turnstile week in and week out. It featured three of the footballing "greats" and they were so entertaining. "Big Jack" was always a bit of a rebel, George Best was possibly one of the greatest players of that generation and Rodney Marsh had a fantastic personality, so there was bound to be some banter and "Mickey Taking". Very interesting Big Jack touching on le Tissier in my view Venables got it wrong just as Bobby Robson got it wrong with Glen Hoddle both players were good enough to build teams around and both were asked to do things that they did not have to do for there clubs therefore badly miss managed

Come from the same area as the Charltons. Shame he didn’t manage England. However, the honest answer about Matt Le Tissier would be you must play him and build the team around him. Matt was the best midfielder Britain ever produced - and not emotionally / intellectually ‘volatile’ like Gascogne / Best. Incidentally today, Matt has shown himself to be a great man - not just a great player.
