I returned the green jacket.. I felt like the bees were attracted to the darker color too much. I might have have not given it enough time, but that was my first impression so I returned it for a white one of the same size and brand.
My bees will not take from the sugar water (1 to 1) I have placed out in various locations. I have one feeder in the hive now, but so far nothing. Should i be concerned? The hive has the lowest amount of food stored i've seen so far.
If they are not taking 1:1 sugar that means your flower nectar is flowing adequately to meet their needs. Nothing to worry about. It’s good news actually!

Wondering what happened to your new green veil? Us beekeepers are creatures of habit. I know sometimes it takes me months to clean my veil 😅

One needles mostly sometimes planer shavings
