I've been trying to get some new tips for mine. I have bought 3 different "universal" tips for mine, but not one of them have actually fitted. But that is to go on a 3" pipe, and not just a slide over like this which is easier to make universal. This one definitely made a nice cosmetic difference!
I should’ve included it in the vid but at first I didn’t tighten it enough so it did rattle and it sounded awful 😂 it’s about as tight as it can be without breaking anything now so it doesn’t rattle anymore
I have an Audi A3 and it makes a slightly different but pleasent sound from the others with the same engine. I went under it and realized it has two tips welded with an opening in the back (similar to yours). Interesting that a small detail can make a noticeable change.
If you want to get a good more amount of sound out of the stock exhaust and keep it on a budget, but not be overly loud. I suggest to get rid of the resonators and keep the muffler on.
I get what your saying but I think it’s because the sound can reverberate inside the new tip and make it sound different, it definitely does change the sound though
keep the res and delete the muffler i can post a video of what mine sounded like with stock exhaust with just muffler delete I also have a k series k20c3
ill keep that in mind if I want a little more sound down the road! does the k20 sound a lot different than the r18? I know it revs higher but I guess at least from videos I haven't noticed a huge difference between them.

rly like these list, because of content quality and simplicity. nice bro. keep going on these civic stuff
Thanks man! I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I’ve got a few things I’m gonna order for it in the next couple of days so there will definitely be more!!
it does have a little more bass. that's awesome. the looks are not too bad either. keep it up!!!
Definitely! Thank you!
I feel like it’s because of the rattle of the piece

yeah its definitely cool how such a little piece of metal stuck on the exhaust changes the sound 😂 I also love A3s theyre just so cool!!

Thats what i have been trying to find out 😂 accept for some reason no one tells u 😂
Cut the exhaust and resonator it will sound pretty clean
I'd address the rusty open wound on your skirt and wheel fender at 2:07 before modding any further 😅
lol not much I can do about that without cutting those parts out which just wouldn’t be worth the cost unfortunately
There is absolutely no way that could change the sound... the original size pipe is still in place all the way to the exit
I get what your saying but I think it’s because the sound can reverberate inside the new tip and make it sound different, it definitely does change the sound though
It didn’t do anything lol. You just think that it does
Well that’s all that matters to me lol
@@JustGrant25 that’s all that matters! I just got a Solterra. I’m tempted to put an exhaust tip at the end haha
Did a decibel rate on his sounds it def. Changes two micronics to the seemtrack across both levels of I have no idea what I’m talking about 😂
Proceeds to talk shit and then say you are tempted to get one. Make it make sense
I have had tips change the sound, but I had to remove the old tip. You still have the old tip there.
Yeah I was pretty surprised that it made such a difference just sliding onto the stock exhaust tip
To install it did you need to cut the old tip off or did it slide over without needing to cut?
I just slid it over without cutting it off I think it could look a little cleaner if you cut it off but I honestly don’t mind how it looks now
Really cool one!
Thanks!
it looks pretty nice

@@JustGrant25 not to big of a difference until you put a turbo and full exhaust like I have now it’s super loud but only at vtec range
Mmmm I see you’ve got a turbo too?! That’s sick dude!!
@@JustGrant25 yeah it’s a pretty fun little car
Post the link of the exhaust tip please 🥲
I just put the link in the description sorry I didn't even think about that 🤣 thanks!
Cheap MODS 🎉 How you been Grant?

I thought you were supposed to cut them down
You can it would probably give it a better sound but I don’t have the tools for that so this works for me
