I think that the buyer requests tab are usually curated based on the types of services you’re selling. Also, I think it only gets activated after having completed a couple of orders. At least that’s what I’ve read online
I just created a gig a few days ago and haven't had any orders yet. But I can see one request on the buyer requests page today, but there was nothing for the last week. It's in the same niche I am in. Hope this helps.
I only ever see people using buyer request to sell things... It's rare I'll see someone actually ask for something, let alone not try to completely scam people with it.
@@MikeNardiTV I do producing and composing so you probably don’t see those options since it’s specific to your gigs. For that category 90% of it is people trying to sell music instead of looking for people to hire, and the other 5% is people asking for highly professional work for like $20
Good morning, Mike! Thanks for another great video!! I have a couple of questions regarding gig creation. If I want to create gigs for resume writing, cover letter writing, proof reading and powerpoint presentation creation; should I create a separate gig description for each one, or can I outline my skills in all of those areas in my profile description and skills section? Thanks, Gary
Hi Mike, great video as always. I have an unrelated question. I hope you don't mind, it's a bit cheeky I know, but you're the authority on Fiverr topics for me. Having followed a lot of the advice in your videos, my gig has absolutely exploded in the last few weeks (I'm still in shock). Obviously, maintaining quality is key to success, and I'm worried I might just have too much work to maintain my high standards. So, my question is: will it affect my ranking if I pause my gig for a week, i.e. not accept new jobs until I've cleared my workload? I really love that you take the time to respond to all your viewers' questions. You've really helped me a lot, I appreciate it!
Hi Paul, that’s awesome to hear! If it were me, I would prefer to just extend delivery timelines for a while. That way you have more time to complete all these orders and are still giving yourself the opportunity to ride this wave of orders that you’ve found yourself in. You could also pause your gig, that would be my last resort option.
Ahh this video is a bit old, since this was released Fiverr released a new feature called Fiverr briefs that replaced buyer requests. I made a new video about that that you can check out
Hi Mike Nardi! I work on graphic design and I have noticed that whenever I see a buyer request and just refresh my browser after 10-20 seconds, I see that lots of offers like 20-40 have already sent. I always properly read those requests and reply to them as a human, not like using temples. But the problem is, my reply takes time and when I send an offer, I see my serial like 50 or 50+ position. So, how can I solve that matter?
Nothing you can really do there as what you’re describing is competition, which is normal. I would just focus on making your pitch/proposal as strong as possible to give yourself the best possible chance of being selected.
Great video Mike thank you! As a new seller, besides buyer requests and optimising my gig as much as possible, is there anything else I can be doing for prospecting new clients?
Totally! Prospecting and contacting clients yourself is something I talk about in a previous video… here’s the link: ua-cam.com/video/gafaW_hcL_U/v-deo.html
I need help! I accidentally deleted a buyer request after sending the offer, and it doesn't appear in the list anymore, is there a way to recover it???
Hey there I wanted to ask if you have a video or link for people who just started fiverr like no skill, No Ratings, and new to fiverr so we don’t know much about anything so if you could put a link or make a video, and approximately how long will it take to make money on fiverr like as your first gig doing Data Entry or Similar and easy things?
It’s going to be harder and take a lot longer to make money on fiverr with no skills. Made a video recently that talked about this: ua-cam.com/video/XvKhrygjlwM/v-deo.html

Will there be any problem like algorithm detects it to be copied even if it's from my own gig. Please let me know your thoughts on this.
Hey Mike, I have a problem. I created my first gig for video editing and hoped to find new costumers trough buyer requests. The problem is just that there are no requests. Everytime I was checking there just was the caption that there are no requests right now. Can someone help me?
I believe that Fiverr only makes buyer requests available after a new seller has proven themselves and completed a few orders. I’m not 100% sure though, you should check with fiverr support.
For how long a period were you receiving multiple orders daily, and what changed between then and now? Did a buyer leave a negative rating? Any late deliveries? Any issues with orders?
Hi Mike, great content and knowledgeable vid. Thanks for this. Can you please check my Gig. I had sent you a mail regarding this request a long time ago but you have not responded yet. Please help me out with this.
Hey there Mike, Your channel really continues to be a great, insightful platform for people to learn and understand how fiver can be leveraged to make money. Sir, why the buyer ask registration fee on the project before I start, It is normal? And he say it will be refundable on successful completion.
they are asking you to pay them a registration fee? That’s a pretty strange request.
I see like 400offers if I send my offer, what are the chances, my request will be seen?
Not sure, but since you can't really control how many other offers there are... I'd say focus on how you can make yours stand out from the pack.
Thank you for highlighting this one for me! I should go through “Buyer Requests” instead of getting buyers come to me
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you Mike for another great video! Question: as a new seller on Fiverr, how many demo reels are allowed for voice-actors?
I’m not sure, you can start the process of creating a VO gig and see how many they allow you to upload.
If you are talking traditional VO demo reels, the answer is 3 demo reels up to 75 seconds. You can also record a gig video as well.

I want someone to investigate fivrr company..you never know what's going on behind the scenes
It’s publicly traded…
Upwork is safe and good
Upwork is also a large publicly traded company
I got my first order when i abandoned and left my fiverr gigs
I got my email and it was 16 hrs ago
And yehh i missed it
Pays to not give up
Fivrr is the spammer company itself so they give access to spammer to enter into the app..
Disagree
Buyer request is the most useless features..that feature is only made for spammer.. only spammer use the feature the most
Agree that spammers use buyer requests, but it’s not useless
