Hello, have you encountered any NAND compatibility issues with these PicoFly chips? I have had some problems lately, especially with some V1 switches. Sometimes, they don't boot into OFW, or they crash after 30 minutes of playing on OFW. I looked it up on forums, and they are saying that these Chinese RP2040s can be hit-or-miss. The resistance values for DAT0/CMD/CLK are 47 ohms instead of 100/100/47 ohms, so I checked my RP2040, and they had 47-ohm resistors.
I wouldn't doubt the quality, I would expect some issues as it's all about getting them out cheap! I must have been lucky though as up to now I haven't had any of these issues you mention?
@fixingmoddingbuilding Okay, thank you for your reply. Could you please provide me with a link to the one you purchased? I'm looking for a decent quality supplier.

You can, a cellphone camera might work just fine or a magnifying glass. If you have experience with soldering probably none, but if you don't you may knock the SP1 and SP2 capacitors if you're not careful enough
@@fixingmoddingbuilding what kind of microscope setup can you get for somewhat cheap for smd soldering? I could use one and always think about it but i assumed it would be super expensive lol. hey mate just wondering if i can send my switch and a chip somewhere like gamestop or some other place and have a pro install it for me? I just really don't wanna mess up my switch. thanks in advance
Is this a oled switch? I got an Oled one and got an older chip, where i have to solder more and cut off some metal. This one seems easier. I dont want to make any damage so if this chip is an alternative i would get this one.
Hello again, I can'tboot even ofw, there is no changes on the screen. However the last i try to put the modchip, the color coding is blinking blue then turns white. What does it mean?
Hi, once everything is done, my switch turns on but with a black screen only and it starts blinking :( Even the lights turned on correctly (blue-green)
Assuming you haven't taken the board out which would eliminate the ribbon cable being damaged I would disconnect it all, put the nand back into it's original location and try and start it normally.
I soldered the points on and plugged everything in correctly. Instead of the pico chip flashing blue and taking me to the no sd screen, mine just blinks blue twice, turns yellow then the switch boots up like normal and takes me to the switch main menu. Has anyone else encountered this? Do I not have a solid weld on all 4 points?
@@fixingmoddingbuilding thank but I have a SD card that's is already in my switch with my game so what do I do? Do I format it? Change it? And do I gonna lose my game in the emmc mod?
