When Benedict mentioned his wife, there was a great disturbance among the Cumberbitches, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out, and were suddenly silenced.
It was a bit of a forced moment, when he says he expected someone in a cafe his wife may have worked in would be like, "oh there's Sophie's husband". As if. XD He needs to accept he's famous and she's not - and only known by extension of being married to him - and then everyone can move on with their lives. Yes, the fans are OTT over his marriage, but he's awkward af about it himself. People smell blood, they go for it.
I was kinda shocked too when i first heard the news, like "man, my dream man is going to have a wife and kids and ect" it's weird that i'm ok with my other favorite celebrities that have marriage life but not with Benedict.
