I kinda feel bad for her Esthetician. She just had a facial and she's doing the exfoliator and mask the day after? I wouldn't be surprised if they don't know what she's doing at home.
Doing my skincare is such a sacred time for me, haha. I have a toddler as well, so it has always been my time to mentally prepare myself for the day and then unwind after a long day. I follow Renée Rouleau on IG and she frequently flies to LA for Camila and a few other Riverdale actresses and other celebs so I find it interesting she said Tracie Martyn is her "regular" facialist. Also, for those talking about the double masks being too drying, Renée recommends the two together just like she did it, and the second mask is actually for sensitive skin.
Amanda Miles I love Renee! Im sure the two masks together would be fine, it’s the additional treatment products she used with them that got me wondering
@@SusanYara Very true, there is actually another optional mask René says to use after the berry peel that is more moisturizing I would have thought it would be better for what she said her skin type is. Either way, I'm still jealous she gets both facialists at her fingertips lol!
@@SusanYara interestingly, Renee is not a fan of the double cleanse method. It's on her website, under her posts about cleansing. She doesn't feel double cleansing is good for the skin because of the oil. I was introduced to skincare through Renee's website, but I couldn't afford her products and had to look elsewhere. That's when I found out that like... practically everyone else in skincare is a devotee of the method. But I'm curious as to your thoughts on her arguments against the double cleanse.
@@ayeshaali-yn4sk I follow Dr Sam Bunting on here and IG, and she isn't a fan of double cleansing, either. She feels people do it mainly because of long wear foundations. Because of her, I take at least a minute to massage my cleanser on my skin; and this is with usually two layers of SPF and makeup.
I just have to say. When i was much younger, i was very into makeup and never really did any skin care. I thought makeup wipes were great bec on lazy days i would just wipe my makeup off and go to sleep (yuck). But i was having breakouts and texture, i chalked it to my skin being oily and then proceeded to wack on concealer, foundation, powder. But when i got older, i realised my skin wasn't oily. It was oily because i kept drying it out!!! I used bar soap (lol), astringent and no moisturizer (bec i thought why do i need to moisturise when i'm hella oily) and tons of oil control films. I realised my skin was begging me to stop abusing it and that my skin was sensitive. Hella sensitive in fact that when i use something that my skin doesn't like i break out on the same day (hello makeup with spf, unfortunately my skin hates you). I figured out what my skin needed thanks to channels like yours, hyram, james welsh and the beauty within and it has helped LOADS. I use non-expensive stuff like the ordinary, simple most of the time (i do splurge sometimes to treat my skin) and i tell you my skin is the healthiest that its been. Texture gone, less discolouration, and glowy. What i wanted to say in this really drawn out speech is that thank you for these very informative videos. Phew. Tired. Haha
I gained so much weight, I had 5 kids and just completely forgot about taking care of me. Self indulgence, in moderation and mindfulness is what I was lacking. I soothed myself with food. Sounds crazy but skincare seems like what I needed to take steps towards a lot of good things. Plus the way she talks about how aestheticians can help women make me want to be one... Love these videos🌸
Yamile Cordova i also feel like she has a different skin type from camila? lili has oily acne prone skin from what i can tell. maybe that’s why some of the products seemed a little too strong altogether for her!
Lili claims to be an expert on beauty stuff. The fact that she refuses to let the professional make up artists on the show do her make up really irks me.
@@LydianaStgo31 No Camilia doesn't do her own makeup on the show. Lili started doing it in season 2 after apparently always arguing with the makeup artist on the show & then Madelaine followed her lead. I think it's super disrespectful to the professinal make up team that have probably been doing makeup for years if not decades.
mmmm I thought she did because someone i don’t remember if is was cole or lilli posted a video of them doing there makeup and Camila was doing touch up to her self, no makeup artist around. I know the show ask Lilli to do some of the burns and stuff. But Idk if the show lets her get away with it then they are the problem.
I get confused when people say they have an esthetician but they didn't share their routine/products with the expert so they can be guided down the right path product wise.
This is like watching a doctor finally diagnosing a problem that’s been going on for awhile after not getting the right treatments from all the other doctors 😂👌🏼🙌🏼
She is such a cutie pie with the biggest heart. Was glad you did this and talked more on her mentioning having dry skin and how the products she uses work. Your review was very helpful
Susan, love your channel! I’ve completely gotten rid of makeup wipes because of you and the environment. What should you do to remove your makeup the nights you’re super tired to do a double cleanse then? What alternatives do you recommend?
I've read that the cleansing oils and balms and gels we have today are okay to use on their own as the emulsifying step helps take off even more makeup. I do that sometimes with my light, everyday makeup days (just concealer and powder and maybe some blush), but I follow with a BHA toner to make sure as much as possible is off (as leftover makeup will come off on the cotton pad) and make me feel cleaner. But I WILL say not much comes off on the cotton pad, so it's probably okay. I don't know if I would recommend with a full beat though.
LOVE this. Skincare is fun, but sometimes there’s stuff that you really don’t need. Cleanse, moisturize. All of the other stuff is fluff and not necessary. Some sunscreen in the morning, you’re good to go lol
A really good routine with everything you need and not more would be: - cleanse (cleansing oil) - exfoliate (chemical peeling once a week) - treat (serums/ moisturizer...) - night: moisturizing cream, day: sunscreen!! (not all are good, at least 30spf) Don't use any fragrances or products with fragrances Don't dry your skin bc of pimples Don't use physical peelings You don't need eye creams (useless af) or masks

I wish more would be made of the importance of having that time. It's not an option, it can be the only thing keeping you sane! 😁
Please do a Q&A on what to look for when selecting a facial / selecting an esthetician. Approximate price range for a budget and luxury facial? What tools do you like using (Nuface, other Nurse Jamie, etc). What products do you use for your body? Like foot care routine, nail care routine, hand care routine, lip care routine (lip masks? lip scrubs?). Weird question - you always talk about puffiness in eyes/skin and wanting to avoid that, so how much salt do you usually try to eat in a day or do you try to cut most of it out in your food? I’m trying to get my skin/body more hydrated bc I also have dry dehydrated skin, but eating a little more salt with your water will give you necessary electrolytes to retain some of the water you drink throughout the day so you’ll stay hydrated. But I also don’t want to be crazy puffy. Do you use occlusive ceramide moisturizers (for example, Dr. Jart ceramidin liquid)?

Hi Susan! Love watching you react to Camila’s routine! Do you have any tips for those of us who may be looking into seeing an esthetician for the first time? What are some things to look out for or should we expect from a good esthetician?
Doggo at the back 🐕 So true. I started panicking when I broke out. When I changed my cleanser, my skin was so irritated on top of using a 10% lactic acid every night. X.x I changed it to la roche posay caring wash after and reduced use of lactic acid which made alot of difference. I tried incorporating BHA for my breakouts but I found my skin was worse after so I stopped.
ghosting101 It is normal that u will get pimples while using Bha for the first time. First comes the purging and after some time your skin will clear up.
Just adding in, the makeup on set could be drying her skin out, considering I think most shows either use MAC or something similar to MAC, which was made only for how it looked on camera but isn’t actually good for skin. I know when I was in makeup school my best friend would come model for me and her skin would get dry and bumpy and red and break out from the MAC foundation. A lot of us actually experienced that too as soon as we started school but chalked it up to our hands on each other’s faces spreading oil and bacteria. Anyways, just adding in, in case it’s relevant!
Have to say that skin doesn't "breathe". Everyone says that and I guess most people know what we mean but it's important to point out that it doesn't need to be "free" or get some air or whatever :D you can put many GOOD products on your skin, it won't clog pores or anything. Clogged pores or breakouts have other causes
I have a 3yr old, a 2yr old, and a 6 month old. It was right after my oldest was born that I started looking into skincare and got a routine. It was my first real attempt at "me time" and self care with a child. Then when I got pregnant again when my oldest was 7 months, I got even more into skincare. Then when my second was like 8 months old I stopped and I've recently got back into it, just with a more condensed routine for the time being. I had a pretty elaborate regimen, probably wayyy too many steps, but my skin seems to like it and it works.
I randomly broke out like crazy acne on both sides of my cheeks(30 years old)..I never had pimples when I was a teenager..but this adult acne was a complete nightmare it took nine months of me being very careful on everything I put on my face and it finally settled down and right now I barely have any THANK GOD lol but now I’m so scared to try anything new on my face😢
It could also be hormonal- I actually had acne until I had a complete hysterectomy at 33. If you have had children or been on birth control your hormones could be off
I stopped using cleansing wipes a long time ago because, in a moment of desperation, I found that some of them can remove nail polish (particularly the acne wipes). Since then, I did not trust their ingredients to use on my face...
Maybe it’s me but it looks like even through she took off her eye makeup, it still looks like she has a ton underneath her eyes. Or maybe she just have dark under eye circles?

I recently stopped using whipes and have switched to Clinique take the day off then pixi glow mud cleanser and the difference in my skin in just a week! Wow!
The facialist she goes to, Renee Rouleau, discourages an oil makeup remover in one of the podcasts she was featured on. Renee claimed the oil cleansing balms leave a layer on the skin making it harder for other products to penetrate even after a double cleanse.
She also mention it was her extended version if she has the time. So that sounds like not all the time. many say makeup does not cause oily or breakout but my skin does the same. 98% or the time I don’t use makeup. But when I do my skin tends to get oily and even break out. So I get the trying to counteract that specially if you have to use it all the time everyday. She gets it professionally looked after so I’m sure it’s an evolving routine depending on how she reacts. Love your comments. So informative I’m looking into skincare products. Thanks for you react videos they help with seeing how or what may be better or too much.

Liana Grigoriadi They’re stripping the skin as she explains in the video, which may be fine if she wasn’t experiencing dry skin.
no it’s recommended on the website that you use them both together
Yesss I am so glad you reacted positively towards her routine and added a few extra tips that she could use to improve them!! I especially enjoy how she's really *really* gentle with her skin! In another video where she did her morning routine, she was also super gentle with her skin so I appreciate that and I think this is something everyone can benefit from!
I find Camila really endearing, she's seems so sweet.
But cleansing oil is so fast tho :o hopefully someone gets her on to them!!
I kinda feel bad for her Esthetician. She just had a facial and she's doing the exfoliator and mask the day after?
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't know what she's doing at home.
you might enjoy watching madelaine petsch's skincare routine with vogue! she seemed so knowledgeable
Cause she spent time with Lili too😂
Yeah.. by applying moisturizing cream after using a sunscreen...
noya clyst thats fine it it was a chemical sunscreen but in this case it was a physical sunscreen
Doing my skincare is such a sacred time for me, haha. I have a toddler as well, so it has always been my time to mentally prepare myself for the day and then unwind after a long day. My husband jokes that he always knows when it's time for me to do my skincare because I always watch one of your videos while I do it, and he recognizes your voice everytime. 😂
I love that Susan never interrupts she just wait and then give her opinions, I love her so much🖤
When she said she didn't use cotton rounds due to waste, I figured she meant wasting the product - not trash waste.
Actually, both.. :)
Don’t makeup wipes create waste?🤔
I would say both
Fn it up with Ericka Fn Cutlass yes but just because it does do you really have to create more?
Fn it up with Ericka Fn Cutlass yes, but she was referring to wasting product, not cotton pads. Cotton pads do absorb SO much toner so after watching this i started using my hands too - I way prefer it now!
Pleeeeeeeaaaase react to patricia bright routine ! That’s a black girl and I would love your opinion on The many products she uses 😊
This is what I love about susan. She really explained as she can and give informative information. Unlike other “skincare experts gurus” here in UA-cam who reacting to a lot of skincare routines I found it really kind of bullying instead give them advice they fuckin laughing and throw shady line about that person.
Could you react to Madelaine Petsch´s skincare routine. I would be very interested to hear your thoughts.
Lumi Linda ouff , that was kinda of a mess
I would love to see a reaction on madeline petch skin care routine!!! Her skin is flawless!!
no one:
susan: I DESPISE makeup wipes
Oh for God's sake enough with this stupid text meme. It's so cringey and completely played out.
@@TheAtl198 dont use it then?💀🤷♀️
@@fifaashfaq Thank you for the insightful advice. I still have to look at it though. 😭🙄
I love how Camila talks about Lili’s skincare knowledge - Madeline Petsch did the same thing in her Vogue video. So cute
I hate being so early that there aren’t a lot of comments to scroll through while I watch😂
Starr Monroe Hahahah I feel the same way
Exactly
Same I barely watch full screen nowadays haha I have to read the comments!
It’s why I always wait a day before I watch 😂😂 much more amusing
Phew. Tired. Haha
Vogue has started listing their products in the comment section.
Shabba Hakim really? FINALLY! 🙌🏻
Thank God 😩
I hope these Go to bed videos never end because I LOVE Susan´s reactions! Thanks so much for making them!
Time to snuggle up in bed and watch a Skincare React video!
Rachel perfect
I gained so much weight, I had 5 kids and just completely forgot about taking care of me. Self indulgence, in moderation and mindfulness is what I was lacking. I soothed myself with food. Sounds crazy but skincare seems like what I needed to take steps towards a lot of good things. Plus the way she talks about how aestheticians can help women make me want to be one... Love these videos🌸
camila: lili is a really big skin person, she knows a lot abt skin
lili on her instagram stories: applies serums and rinses off after 15 minutes
Yamile Cordova i also feel like she has a different skin type from camila? lili has oily acne prone skin from what i can tell. maybe that’s why some of the products seemed a little too strong altogether for her!
Lili claims to be an expert on beauty stuff. The fact that she refuses to let the professional make up artists on the show do her make up really irks me.
I think most of the girl do their own makeup in Riverdale. At least Madelaine, Camila and Lilli do their own makeup now.
I love how all these actors talk about having/getting brakeouts with completely clear skin and zero pimples. 🙄
This is like watching a doctor finally diagnosing a problem that’s been going on for awhile after not getting the right treatments from all the other doctors 😂👌🏼🙌🏼
Susan Yara is NOTHING like a doctor.
TheAtl198 thats why the comment said “like” :)
Not a doctor, nowhere near a doctor.
@@Mindcrashed but she is not "like" a doctor either. :)
Huge issue with anyone taking advice from this woman who has zero qualifications to be giving said advice
"It really doesn't take that long" as she takes forever to remove her eye makeup😂😂😂
Cleansing oil is the fastest way to clean your makeup in my opinion
yami j I think so too🤔
Would you please recommend a cheap cleansing oil for the face? I’m trying to find a new one bc mine is running out.
@@irisbenitho I'm pretty new to this but I like neutrogena cleansing oil
She is such a cutie pie with the biggest heart. Was glad you did this and talked more on her mentioning having dry skin and how the products she uses work. Your review was very helpful
I always enjoy a good skin reaction video! 😎 also you should do a video on Proactiv!
Mirina S yes!!
Susan, love your channel! I’ve completely gotten rid of makeup wipes because of you and the environment. What should you do to remove your makeup the nights you’re super tired to do a double cleanse then? What alternatives do you recommend?
April Those late nights or when I’m too tired I just use the oil and that’s it.. then I wash my face the next morning 😬
Micellar water
Use micellar water!!!
April face halo!!!
Hey Susan! Can you do a video of the ages, talking about 20’s skin care and products you recommend, and for 30’s and so on?
Susan's facial expressions during the entire make up wipes section were HILARIOUS!
Tommy she was counting the number of wipes ... 7/8/9 😂
LOVE this. Skincare is fun, but sometimes there’s stuff that you really don’t need. Cleanse, moisturize. All of the other stuff is fluff and not necessary. Some sunscreen in the morning, you’re good to go lol
She was going to town on her eye with that wipe omg, I could almost feel the burn in my own eyes just watching this 😂
A really good routine with everything you need and not more would be:
- cleanse (cleansing oil)
- exfoliate (chemical peeling once a week)
- treat (serums/ moisturizer...)
- night: moisturizing cream, day: sunscreen!! (not all are good, at least 30spf)
Don't use any fragrances or products with fragrances
Don't dry your skin bc of pimples
Don't use physical peelings
You don't need eye creams (useless af) or masks
Lu :3 you can’t just use cleansing oil . You have to use a regular cleanser after
Please review Madelaine Petsch’s vogue skin care routine! 😊

She did bring down the moisturiser down to her neck Yara. 😉😆
@@firstloveacrossthesea5835 she did this only for the video. We cant judge her how she does it on a daily basis. Maybe she does it all in a shower room without the water dripping on the back of her arms, like what Yara said..

Susan Yara, I love your skincare reaction videos and watch them religiously! But my favorite part of this video has to be your dog's🐕 cameo (30 seconds in). 😂

Props to you, Susan!!! A baby AND a toddler, dear Lord, and that puppy in the back! Good job holding down the fort AND looking lovely doing it (that pink lip and red top are great together; I love pink and red) AND MAKING TIME FOR YOURSELF, even if it's just during your nighttime skincare...
Please react to Kathleen LIghts' routine! I love you and your reactions
ElliPrefers Yess i want to see it too!

When I worked the counters at Saks, as SOON as the last customer left, the makeup wipes came out everywhere, and we all left with raw looking faces thanks to Estée Lauder 😂😩😩😩 . I would NEVER do anything like that now.
Susan is my hero, such a fabulous presenter and gorgeous to boot.. She inspired me to set up my own channel which launched last week and i would love any support you guys could give xxxx
Hi Susan! Love watching you react to Camila’s routine! Do you have any tips for those of us who may be looking into seeing an esthetician for the first time? What are some things to look out for or should we expect from a good esthetician?
Doggo at the back 🐕
So true.

Camila is absolutely stunning!
Please do Madeleine too!
I am literally crying laughing from the first 5 minutes of this chick using a makeup wipe and Susan just patiently tra-la-la-ing while it goes on 😂😂😂
I randomly broke out like crazy acne on both sides of my cheeks(30 years old)..I never had pimples when I was a teenager..but this adult acne was a complete nightmare it took nine months of me being very careful on everything I put on my face and it finally settled down and right now I barely have any THANK GOD lol but now I’m so scared to try anything new on my face😢
Alina Mus You might think about going to the doctor and test out if your allergic to stuff.
It could also be hormonal- I actually had acne until I had a complete hysterectomy at 33. If you have had children or been on birth
control your hormones could be off
I stopped using cleansing wipes a long time ago because, in a moment of desperation, I found that some of them can remove nail polish (particularly the acne wipes). Since then, I did not trust their ingredients to use on my face...
The dog in the background 😍 so cute
How often should someone with balanced skin do a detox type mask? I do not have breakouts, but I do have some congestion and blackheads in my t-zone.
Renée had a Plano, TX spa. It’s closing as of 01/31/2020. I’m so sad. It is so hard to find a great esthetician in DFW.
Maybe it’s me but it looks like even through she took off her eye makeup, it still looks like she has a ton underneath her eyes. Or maybe she just have dark under eye circles?

ArtofDylan makeup does not discolor your skin 🙄
@@artofdylan2356 LOL you literally made this up. It's simply not true.

Why do they film this like it’s the middle of the day 😂
Hello Susan, I always enjoy watching your video and its very energizing! I would really love to see your reaction on Lily Aldridge's Nighttime Skincare Routine!
Clancy Turner Shani Darden shares a similar view.
Thanks for you react videos they help with seeing how or what may be better or too much.
keep on reacting!! I love these episodes!!
