Very nice. Would enjoy seeing you make one of these without wheels and with a traditional recurve shelf so broadheads could be shot from it. You now have a new subscriber.

Big fan I love your content
But like this video sometimes you post things that make me wonder if you understand or know certain rules of thumb
There's not enough distance between the string your wrist and that handle that is dangerous all by itself considering the material you use for your limbs that should strong enough to slit your wrist personally I would use this as a crossbow and I strongly feel that it would be more sufficient if used as a crossbow and I think you need a shorter string
Mini compact compound bows are truly a worthwhile designed to contribute to the world of archery and has great and as beautiful as this right here is I feel strongly that it is yet to be finished

    • @ModernDayAfro
      @ModernDayAfro 2 роки тому

And those key rings or whatever they are
      After enough draws and release
I promise they will give way and unravel
I PROMISE that that's what will happen

Thank you for the detailed and precise information, though I do agree with you that most of my products are filled with many errors and mistakes, I always try to develop a way to wield them as efficently and safely as possible. Moreover, by having an interesting holding mechanism, it also contributes into making them more unique than the ordinary ones.

      @@WoodenDIY first off
NO YOU DONT lol no really I mean only a few and specifically with archery and just archery do I see some reasonably minor mistakes but that's it I'm not knocking your work
I say that because I marked one full year self taught archery woodworking craftsmanship and your content actually helped my development
Seriously the way your hands make such easy work of the hardwoods your use once they get a saw or chessel
Like your literally the only woodworker Im subscribed to that makes absolute masterpieces with ZERO power tools
Trust me I legit wanna be just like you
But my point is in regards to Archery I read and watched a lot of basic beginner rule of thumb type videos
Bro I insist you consider my input
That bow and it's design is all by itself brilliant and unique as well as beautifully crafted and I really mean that
Seriously your sling bow and compound bow concepts are fucking amazing and I assume you just basically get inspired grab some materials and actually make quality products each and every time that absolutely unique in each one
Hell looking at it again at least consider make this same one but 1-2 sizes bigger
That way you'll have a better hold on it while maintaining it's compact design and a shorter string would maximize limbs full draw weight that I assume will probably need a trigger release in order to draw because it might go over 80lbs by the looks of it
And shorter string by it self will give your arm and wrist safe space
Personally I've smacked my arm and wrist and drew blood at a 50lbs draw
One your design it's custom and advised to use metal cords because your bow and bows like em are strong enough to snap traditional string materials and that way you could also remove the key rings and attach the cord directly to the limbs string knock
      Just an idea
But if it means anything the "mistakes" are very few and your final products always perform ridiculously well
But in terms of safety first and followers potentially making the same design and getting hurt too
It really would be best for multiple reasons to increase the wrist space And remove the key rings and use a metal cord
      I'm speaking from experience tbh
I've snapped entire risers stringing them up I've stripped limbs right out their limb post and snapped strings at full draw with 40lbs behind each one of those fuck ups and I got smacked dead in the fucking face with the limb or string with all the kenotic force behind it
      Learn from my mistakes
Cutting my arm open was bad enough get chin checked with ,40lbs rouge limbs and strings are a whole nother thing
      TRUST ME LOL
