One thing modern day sports game fail with is how slow the game feels, when you play a sport in real life the speed of the game is crazy, it’s what makes your decision making important because if you go left and he goes right you’re cooked, but in modern day sports games it feels like your stuck in the mud and idk why it’s these next gen games that feel like that.

I like the idea of the game.. Execution is garbage.. Shooting good shots shouldn’t punish you they are forcing RNG misses to combat cheaters. They drop the game every year with the same issues and then incorporate more ways to pull money out of their playerbase all while not fixing the game..
Ex. Why are animations locked behind attributes which I have to pay to acquire then pay to get the animation lol.. The game is $100 a build is $100 and change to max out.. I have to boost my player etc etc.. That alone isn’t simulation.. The game is fine but when you take into account how much money people are spending just to play it’s understandable the way the community acts..

From somebody who played 2k in its prime (2k13-17) other good 2ks after that, but I blame content creators for why the game is like it is, my example is they make build/sig videos weeks before the game releases knowing that people are going to tune into certain videos when it drops, so they push out build and sig videos which is why everyone ends up with the same build, imagine if no one made build videos or dribble videos 🤷🏽♂️
Like when 2k first got lit, only the adaptable will survive. You either learn how to use your build, find you a jumper, some animations that fit your play style etc. or you don’t win and end up one of the nigs who cry cuz the game doesn’t play how THEY want, it’s that simple😂

I feel you on that Pry. I made a 6’2 PG with a 55 interior/55 Perimeter D in 24. I was fairing well, but I understood that I could not contest anything at all. This 2k25 the shot contest are broken. I made a max wingspan 6’3 PG with 92 perimeter and 96 steal, HOF Glove and gold on ball menace, gold challenger. A person the same size as me, is still making shots over me. It’s almost like the attributes don’t matter. A person with a 70 can do the same thing as me. It’s almost like I wasted my time and attributes on defense.
