Mikoyan MiG-29UB Fulcrum "Edge of Space" flight - to the stratosphere. Watch the contrails from 12:40!

This outside mounted camera filmed the whole flight.
Unfortunately that day was in early fall and rather warm, more than 15° C. So the jet couldn't climb that high as it usually does, 20km. Remember, Edge of Space flights are best in winter when the air is cold.

Haha! when is this in the video? xD

He asked "How're your ears?" xD
ha ha i loved that ruzzian in ROCKY!
I guess Russia is so poor that they can't afford too many vowels in their alphabet? :-D
Such a beautiful irony, that a machine built for a war that might have ended us all, is now being used to make us see what we might have lost.
+The Overloader well said
Best comment on UA-cam ever.
The cockpit canopy has a fisheye lens effect! Why? Or is it the camera? Why?
Wow, what an insane amount of comments! Sorry but we can't answer all of them personally. Just a few points:
- This video was taken in August on a very hot day - hence the MiG-29 was not able to climb that high. We always recommend to book in winter, with a max altitude of 20km these days- That used to be significantly higher with the MiG-25 when the "Edge of Space" flight was created.
- Edge of Space is a marketing name that was also used much later by Baumgartner/Red Bull. It is not really close to Space, we are aware of that
- The curvature you can see is mostly caused by the fisheye lense
- To all Flat Earthers - here is the deal: Book an Edge of Space flight, if you can't see the curvature you'll get a full refund. We are serious about that.
Hi MiGFlug, Are you able to let us know what camera and lens were used for that view please? Thanks
looks like a fish bowl lens
Go pro ??? 4k
+vegan&lecker 10:50 the curvature is obvious
Congratulations, you won the award for the dumbest person on youtube today..

But why it look like starscream
The Karman line ("space") is up at 100km; this flight tops out at 16.8km. So less the "Edge of Space" and more "Edge of the Stratosphere"). Pretty cool though.
There is no definition if what exactly Edge of Space is, that's more a marketing expression that was created for these flights. But yes, it is overexaggerating a bit... :)
that's more like a marketing fail. passenger planes (concorde) flew higher than 55.000 feet. it is not overexaggerating, it is clickbait.
Who cares :D When you can't breath and the sky is dark and the horizon is rounded, you are not in the 'Earth' anymore.
+Diadema033 horizon is rounded because of the "fishlense" on the camera, not because of the height.
True, but misses the point. We've all seen the endless barrage of air balloon videos presented by Western mass-media as flights to the "edge of space", even though neither of these balloon flighs come even close to 100 km in altitude. Felix Baumgartner's jump was also advertised using exactly the same wording. So basically the "edge of space" is the modern pop-culture moniker for the kind of altuitude where the sky visibly darkens and Earth's curvature becomes apparent. For which reason I officially declare the naming used here as "100% appropriate".
11:10 "How are you ears?"..."Excuse me?"..."HOW ARE YOUR EARS?"...lol
what the fuck ?
Hahah I laughed at that exact same thing!! HOW ARE YOUR EARS!!!??
WHAT DID YOU SAY? WHY DO YOU SOUND LIKE I'M HEARING YOU THROUGH A WALL?
11:10 "how are your ears ?"
"Eeeuh, excuse me ??"
The flat earthers will call this fake. LOL
through out the whole video i was thinking that as i recently torn apart a flat head lol
im here looking or the flat earth comments. im sure theyll say its hollywood
At that height the curvature of the earth is not discernible. The Earth appears curved from the fish eye (wide angle) lens. This is a flight at 55,000 feet the edge of space is at almost 330,000 feet. So not even remotely close to being near the edge of space.
The earth is round though.
+IntenseNoobFPS it's not a fisheye lens. It is a wide angle and there is some distortion, but not nearly as much as an actual fisheye that has close to 180° in view. If they're trying to prove the earth is curved why does the horizon curve up when the plane is on the ground? It this was a "fake" it would curve down at that point just like it appears to when they are 35k feet in the air. The reason you see curvature there is because the earth isn't flat.
+Brisdad53 At that altitude you'll see the earth rounded shape, fisheye or not.
To me that lense didn't look very fish-eye anyway, fish-eye makes things look like they are further away, but he WAS far away.. 😜
That was a very gentle low G-force ride well adapted to novice passenger. Would by nice to see the same filming angle when going at combat power.
I love MigFlug - I am going for a flight on a MIG 29 in 4 years.
greetings from germany
Lol. I saw how some Russian politics proposed to nuke Germany when Merkel introduced sanctions against Russia at same day, when Third Reich attacked USSR! 😄 it was incredible hysteric)))
But more likely it's Germany will nuke Russia in next few years, just watch at all that nato preparations and pre-war hysteric in media) and of course on Germany army that again on Russian borders. Or just small provocation of third side, like terrorists from ISIS, and both sides will start real war.
p.s.
As Polish, I'm already emigrated 😂
Germany has no nuclear weapons
+Julia P. After W2 under the UN that if a major war were to break out Germany is in the frontlines of the war weither Germany likes it or not it's under treaty and Germany doesn't have Nukes.
+Michael Henke they have, as and Turkey with Italy - american bombs. And US with violation of treats teaching how use it misc countries, including even Poland and Baltic countries (one of reason for Russian hysteric).
mmbaster: what will it cost for your flight?
Beautiful! I loved watching the contrail form behind the aircraft, especially in the turns.
Wow! What a smooth ascent and view at the top. Makes it look effortless! If the Orville Brothers had any idea. Loved the loop-de-loops and barrel rolls too. I can't believe the acceleration of this brute, from the time the pilot parked his Hugo, it only took a few minutes to the time he reached 40,100 feet.
Amaaaazing!!!!!!
Thanks
The One, The Only, MIG. Thank you Russia for making such a Unique Machine. God bless Russia!
I think there are a lot more then one!
"Unique Machine"? Compared to other MIG's? Other supersonic jets?
I think every modern jet can obtain this altitude. Hell it isn't even 747 max cruise altitude on a regular commercial flight.
You know regular commercial flights that show no Earth curvature.
God bless Russia indeed.
+funkydmunky1 Unique ? may be it is unique in the way that this MIG is made as a normal plane with high performance. However, an U2 could easily fly above 70,000 feet ( over 21,000 meters) and max to 90,000 feet, but an U2 is way more expensive to fly and maintain.
+Nha Trang the u2 is a plane designed to fly at high altitude.
the mig 29-though capable of extraordinarily high altitudes- is not a reconnaisance place. its a fighter. relying on thick air for good turning.
Give it SOME credit. :P
Fantastic! What an experience that must be.
oh yes! Learn more on MiGFlug.com
With an Airbus 320, we where at an altitude at 15500 meters (50853 feet).
This is exceptional for a passenger airplane, but not near the edge of space!
But the view was like from space.
A320 service ceiling is 12000 meters
service ceiling is max. altitude for normal operations masured as the ability for a plane to descend to 10,000 in a certain amount of time. All planes can go higher
thank you for the experience, watched every minute!
Thank you for sharing this with us! Very inspiring! Great pilot!
I loved the moment as he stalled the plane and showed of the awesome capabilities of the MiG-29. He also hit +7 G's and always checked the condition of his Co-Pilot / Passenger. Very cool.
Again, thanks a lot!
Some more greetings from Germany ;D
Max Altitude at 10:47 save some time :D
The Kármán line is the boundary between the Earth's upper atmosphere and outer space -- which is at an altitude of 100 km or 62 miles above sea level.
55100 ft / 5280 ft/mile = 10.4356 miles
10.4356 miles / 62 miles = 0.168 = 16.8% of the distance between sea level & outer space or ~1/6th of the distance to space -- so yeah, NOT very close to the "edge" of space in reality -- nevertheless, that altitude provides a very good view of Earth!
butno!i disagree. citation below
Karman line, lies at an altitude of 100 kilometres (62 mi) above the Earth's sea level, and commonly represents the boundary between the Earth's atmosphere and outer space.
That is true, but at that altitude there isn't enough air to sustain the aircraft...
"Edge of Space" is the name of the ride, not exactly reaching the real edge by plane...
Then, perhaps, it would be better to entitle the video as "To the altitude limits of a Mig29"
You didn't get it... it's the name of the ride they're offering. Checkout the description.
Thanks so much to MiGFlug. It is fantastic to see for people like me who will most likely never be able to do this. Love the high definition too!
Stunning, breath taking views from one of the legendary fighter designs ever built.
People in Concorde were having a 5 course meal at this height.....
Not all of them landed.
I've seen the tapes. =(
And the 69 MiG's that crashed? www.ejection-history.org.uk/Aircraft_by_Type/mig-29.htm
A bit careless perhaps?
FYI the cause of the Concorde crash was metal from another plane. Before that there were no losses at all!
Plus another 20 thousand feet. This is height most commercial aircraft reach. The steel MIG is too heavy.
Most comercial flights reach like 39,000 ft or 41,000 ft and that take a long time to do it. This guy was at 15,000 ft in less than 1 minute.
He also could keep the speed, that's something i guess.
55K feet is not the "edge of space"....
Flat earther??

How high would it be possible to go then with a jet plane?
We all are in the space, where is Earth then?
+Wheatley Johnson What? You can see the curvature of the earth stood on a beach facing the ocean...
best 30 minutes I've spent on you tube!! thank you? hello from land o lakes WI USA!
Absolutely beautiful flight footage.
Astonished to see our mother earth from such height and what a great pilot... thanxx for uploading such nice video :)
Where are the flat earthers? someone tag one of them for me, please. 😂
no point, they'll probably say it's a conspiracy or something :p
Do not get me wrong. I DO NOT believe that the Earth is flat, but the roundness that you see on the video is because the lens distortion of the camera :)
They will just claim the curvature of earth in the video is merely a camera trick produced by cgi!
LMFAO!!! Hahahahahahahahahah :D :D
this video does not confirm the earth is round, the fish eye camera gives the effect of an earth curvature
Stunning beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Really enjoyed the rapid speed decay down to 0 knots for a few moments followed by the nose dropping just after 25 minutes. Also thought it was interesting that the engine nozzles seem to open/close independently of each other ... I guess I just always assumed both engines would be in sync across the power band
Debunking Flat EArth AND Chemtrails all in one blow.
well condensation has nothing to do with chem trails ,condensation goes away after 15-30 minutes , chem trails last longer to my knowledge . As for as the shape of the earth , id Mig could give the answer we would have changed it few times . First it was a ball , then a sphere , then a spheroid , then a pear shaped spheroid , i dont know wahts next . Interestingly other planets are perfect spheres , icluding the moon. But not the earth
I'm only scrolling through the comments to find the "this video is fake, the earth is flat!" kind of stuff. ;)
me too. lol
Debunking with what, fish eye camera lens? Don't jump to conclusions.
Curvature created by the lens can be seen clearly if you just look at the tail on the left of the frame. Objects closer in get more curvature so you are right, there is curvature. Oh wait, but it's curved inward towards the center! So the curvature we see of the Earth is the actual curvature of the Earth as it's curving the other way from the lens effect.
Awesome video and as an American I have to say that the Russians have everything we have and have achieved greatness. I wish our countries could get along as the Russians are great people. I hope we put our nuclear weapons in the garbage can and go to Mars and to the next Galaxy. We could accomplish so much if these 2 great countries could play nice. Brilliant people from both nations can achieve the impossible. God bless both and you reading:)
Dont forget the russian girls
To me, Russian women are very similar to American women. I like them all when it comes down to it. What is your take?
It's such a shame that after WW2 the Western Allies and the Soviet Union were too stubborn to continue working together. But as always people proved incapable of accepting each other's differences.
Absolutely, Chad! The problem are politicians who are also with corporations- seeking their own interests.
It really is the one thing from stopping all people from achieving "greatness". Instead so many of us are content to be fixated on pointless shit like war. Imagine if everyone put aside their "differences" for one common goal?
That was amazing, loved the pilot asking if the other guy was okay and then handing the controls over to let him have a play. I love it when you go up in a light plane and the pilot and the controls are handed to you. But to get your hands on the controls of an aircraft that cost US$29 million the average cost in 2009 and is capable of 2,600 km / h
WOW, what a view, little bit envious!
Being into aviation alot, this is like the best video ever to me!

Beautiful flight, great flying.
every video on UA-cam that involves flight, there are flat earth nutters commenting. the earth isn't flat! oh my god you all sound so ridiculous.
the earth is shaped like a cone!
a cone? wtf

+Colby Bryan the earth is not round, it is spherical.. and not even close to being perfectly spherical. It's all lumpy and grotesque.. like a pug's face.

I love it every time to watch your video. The the talks throu the pilot and the passenger are very cool too.
What an amazing climb rate. It was all that long ago that all we had were propellor driven planes and it would take them 20 minutes or more to reach their service ceilings on the 20 K range.

Absolutely amazing!
Thanks for this video. Nice flight, and lucky passenger.
this is so awesome!
great that you like it!
Anyone who is dumb enough to think the earth is flat, needs to get a ride along, or at least see this video lol
Does this video prove anything in any direction? Nope.
+Pjor Berger yeah...it proves you are a stupid dipshit if you think the world is flat.
Dan Sciortino When the "edge" is close to the top of the screen it is round-looking(16:00) and when it's close to the center of the screen it looks flat(15:25) and when it's close to the bottom of the screen(14:50) it bends the other way. How does this prove anything?
Pjor Berger if you bothered to watch the altimeter you'd know the curve is obvious the higher you are. He only flew up to 40,000+. If you was in a SR-71 Blackbird that reaches 80,000+ ft. You can see what astronauts see...the world that is a sphere...lol. Fool.
Dan Sciortino You cannot see from a plane that the earth is round, you are the fool in this case sir.
Just fantastic one of the best posting on you tube.
super! those are contrails (condensation trail from jet exhaust, not the exhaust smoke itself) and notice the vortices @ L & R edges nr. begin & end
55,000 ft is not the edge of space! Its only 1/6 of the way! Space is at 327,360 ft.
In the space program altitude is measured in meter, not in feet.
Right. Remember what happened to that Mars probe where scientists used feet instead of meters. OOPS!
what an amazing video
+Valentina S thanks!
Absolutely awesome video!! Thank you for sharing!!
Incredible!! :)
damn these are some good graphics! IL-2 looks great in HD
summary of this video:
pilot: "how are you?"
passenger: "fine!"
repeat 1000 times
Every 2 minutes "How are yuo?" xD
I think that is the pilot asking his English-speaking passenger how he is coping because he wouldn't be able to see him in a tandem cockpit.
Looks like a great opportunity to install a backseat vid cam to visually monitor the rider rather than verbally checking so frequently.
Verbal response is required since it would be hard to see the passenger's condition through the pressure suit flight helmet.
Jeff Codling
I'm pretty sure even a Russian pilot is capable of watching a person who is looking at the earth (& probably all around) during the flight to get a pretty good idea if the person is cognizant or unconscious -- hint: it's all in the eyes & movement of the head -- regardless of the flight suit obstructions.
There are obviously far too many armchair military fighter pilots on UA-cam.
Believe what you want. I'm not going to argue about it.
Awesome video mate!
Whaou ! Merci pour ces images
I just love to think about how medieval man would have reacted to something like this...
Don`t worry, some of them are reacting here, right now, stating that planet earth is flat, hahaha.
+Bill Ashe lol
Herecy! Burn him!
The modern day flat-earthers have nothing to do with medieval people, who (at least in Europe and the mid-east) knew very well the earth was round and even its likely circumference. It was common knowledge since the 6th century BC and no one in medieval Europe denied it or believed the earth was flat. This was first made up as a 19th century anecdote about how stupid medieval people must have been, and then developped in the 20th century as a real theory. Medieval people would laugh at the current flat-earthers same as us.
+Jag giello indeed it was
At 7:03 why is Mach 1.0 at 530 km/h when it's actually 1,235 km/h?
Or does M 1.0 represent something else?
Mostly accurate explanation. The only difference is that the speed of sound in air is dependent on air temperature (lower temp, lower velocity of sound). Since air temperature generally decreases with altitude, your explanation is essentially correct. Of course, the decrease in INDICATED speed is indeed due to the lower air density.
So are you saying this bird of prey measures air density/temperature in calculating it's Mach speed? That would be cheating. And all the Mach ratings of aircraft would be quite meaningless if the speed of sound is not fixed at some value.
How is it cheating? Yes, mach 1 = the speed of sound. You're used to the speed of sound at standard temps. As temps drop, the speed of sound changes, therefore the speed of mach 1 changes. Mach 1 will always be the speed of sound, nothing else.
+DM whatever you say ;) lol
+DM Are you even serious? This is the first paragraph on Mach on the wikipedia article:
'At standard sea level conditions (corresponding to a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius), the speed of sound is 340.3 m/s (1225 km/h, 761.2 mph, 661.5 knots, or 1116 ft/s) in the Earth's atmosphere. The speed represented by Mach 1 is not a constant; for example, it is mostly dependent on temperature.'
You're at a computer, google exists, for the love of god man, look things up before you open your yap.
Fantastic video! Awesome!
MIG-29 state of art and it is still one of the best!
55,000=edge of space? Me thinks not.
+Lee White They were less than 20% of the way there, didn't even clear the Troposphere. That said, it must have been quite an experience.
Based on the Earth's Parabola... they were over 100 miles above the Surface. Actually over 400,000 feet high. They at one point reached Escape Velocity (11 kilometers per second) and at one point cracked Earth Timespace back in on itself and re-entered around the 1950s, did a Negative G Roll to bend it back the other way and landed here and there... until adjustments were made to come back around the correct time. It's all just guesswork but hey you gotta be good.
You don't honestly trust those instruments over the Eye Test? Come on. No one is that stupid.
I know in one of these videos... just by using the Eye Test... they do *almost* break Escape Velocity and get catapulted out into Space. I don't know. Those pilots are crazy.
Past the 0G maneuver at 25:09 they begin a jump through Hyperspace they successfully complete the jump when the frame changes. It takes a while to set course for the jump... but the jump itself takes only a fraction of a second.
If you pay close attention you can see airport runways going from rubble to fully functional back to rubble again in only a few seconds. Live action proof that time travel is a Scientific Fact.
There is no definition if what exactly Edge of Space is, that's more a marketing expression that was created for these flights.
Actually there is - it's called the Karman Line.

It's a thing.
Use it.

16,7 km... edge of space?... Concorde 18.3 km...
Concorde no longer flying
...*but it will rise from the ashes like the phoenix....someday???.....*
nope :)
I know! Space doesn't start until 100 km.
Myasishchev M-55 - 21,800 m (71,600 ft), still is flying.
wow epic video. I have a question, how does the pilot know know how far he can ascend, is there a gauge which shows the atmosphere density?
+Bic narok Great that you like it. At some point he just can't climb higher
OK, thanks. I thought the engines would cut out at some point when there´s not enough air for some reason :)
rockets have the exact same problem, _don't they?_ ;)
It would be cool if you could compile either a 4K video of each perspective in each quadrant of the screen along with translations and telemetry on the empty quadrant, or a 1080p video switching between the views.
Edge of space? The edge of space is 328,000 feet. This flight only went to 55k feet, or roughly 17% of the altitude needed.
Whoever thinks that 55k feet is the edge of space, is clearly a product of Common Core math.
I think someone should fix that bent tail on that plain. Bent tail. Bent runway. Even saw the Earth bent two ways. Bending the laws of phisics with the fishy eye. Still my favourite plane though. Awesome!!!!
BENT TAIL AND ALL, IT WAS BUILT TO LAST
He was making a joke. Are you not smarter than a 5th grader?
+Barry its hard to get what is a joke and what is not with all these crazy flat earth cult people around.
Colosphonium --- Imbecile. That's you I feel. You disconect your eye from brain. Looking from a distorted plane. The earth curved covex concave. Wibble wobble this way that. Looked like the runway was on a curvy mat. Townships on mounds that then look flat but you disconnect your eye from brain then dare call others insane.
Was the tail curved?
Did the earth curve convex concave?
Was the runway bent?
Is 55,000 feet. The edge of SpAcE?
I just commented on the use of the fish eyed lense. Why, why why. When things go up high. Must they have a fishy eye?
Connect your eye to your brain before answering. Daft cunt!!!!
They use fisheye lenses because they provide a nice, wide view.
Why does it matter?
That is one hell of a video!
+Mika Hakinen great that you like it Mika. Also check the latest one we published!
This would be awesome!! Would love to do this. Imagine looking up and it’s night. And look down its day .
Even at 39,000 ft the earth looks curved on this video, but 'i've flown at 41,000 ft and the curve wasn't obvious to me at that height. It was said that you could see the earth's curvature from Concorde at cruising altitude (60,000 ft)
Wide angle lens makes the horizon distorted. It makes the curvature of the earth look more than it is at that height.
you can see it. I've been up that high. it's not obvious right away. you have to look at the edge, the horizon. that's where the earth is curving out of sight.
I love flying. I hope one day I can go higher. 40k feet isn't that high, but it is spectacular.

Your funny. you do not see the earth curve out of sight, that's the limit of your vision. Its called the horizon, you seem to know what its called but not what it is. If you can"t see the curve from left to right, you will never see it looking forward. If this video was not filmed with a fisheye lens I guarantee you it would be perfectly flat. Bottom line is they are lying big time its not a coincidence that they use fisheye lens every time they do high altitude flying. One question for you, do you believe we went to the moon?
My God! You can see the curve even from the passenger airliners.
6:42 oh my good...chemtrails :-D
nice gave a real sense of being there, like watching a rollercoaster
This is incredible.
Awesome !!!!!!!
+PETER CH thanks Peter
It’s a fisheye camera, regardless of anything else.
I enjoyed that. Thanks
Btw, the curviture is in fact due to the fish-eye lense used on the tail, it tends to round the image at its edges, you cannot see the curviture of the Earth from only 15 km up, which doesn't mean it's not there, of course.
the mach speedometer didnt work properly.. 680kmh 0.8 and 750 was 0.7 and 690kmh was 1.2!
Speed of sound varies with altitude
Kevin Dunn well I learnt something today..quite mad though that at 690kmh he was going faster than sound in that medium. I wonder what the point of tyhe guage is.. I suppose ti know when the shock wave is coming if he's dippiong above and below it
That's correct. km/h is based in GoPro GPS and only accurate at low altitude and low speed. Seems the GoPro guys didn't expect their camera to reach alsmost Mach 2.0 and stratosphere altitudes!
Strictly speaking speed of sound depends on the density of the air;)
The mach number is not a "speed" as we commonly know it. It is in fact a ratio of two speeds. In this case, the true airspeed of the aircraft over the local speed of sound.
The speed of sound is not a constant and in air, varies with the temperature alone. Here is the formulae: speed of sound in air = 20 x square root of the absolute temperature (or 273.15 + temperature in °C). The colder it gets, the slower the speed of sound and the slower you need to go to reach mach 1.
To answer the speedometer issue, that speed is a ground speed. So there is wind to take into account.

wow
Perfect Experience!!!!!!!! Thank You for video !!!! Pilot is a Great Man !!!!
My bucket list is complete.
M 1.0 are not only 520 km/h!
That's correct. km/h is based in GoPro GPS and only accurate at low altitude and low speed. Seems the GoPro guys didn't expect their camera to reach alsmost Mach 2.0 and stratosphere altitudes!
Okay, thank you for the answer. Unbelivebel that it is realy a GoPro, awesome.
It is dependant on temperature...ask google
Mach 1.0 is defined by Temperatur and Air pressure. You can't just say ~1000km/h=Mach 1
Air density/temp based on altitude. Mach 1 at sea level is 762mph, at 60,000ft it's 660mph. It's also much harder to achieve that speed at altitude because of the minimal air density. Want a scary laugh? Investigate stall speed vs altitude. You'll see just how close the Lear jet you're flying is to falling out of the sky at high altitude. Very cool stuff here. The new jets are hot rods.
40,000ft is not the edge of space. Another 35,000ft would be at the edge
Think i saw 560FT
No, i saw on the video he reached 56,000 ft. I have no idea how far is the edge of space. You said 40,000 ft wasn't the edge, so... 330,000 ft! Is a long way... So you're a pilot?
kkk, you said you've been there, or close, many times lol
+doctornige1 i edited that wiki to your specs citation below
+doctornige1 +doctornige1 , impressive for that jet? How so? I've been to 51,000ft agl in a Gulfstream business jet. G550 to be exact and that's nothing for it. Most intercepted jets can reach 22km or 72,000 ft agl. Depends on the weather and temp.
Great shots
That was awesome!
55k feet? ehhhhhhh
500 + Nautical Altitude miles at 1.01 Escape Velocity, which is 5+ miles per second squared.
Think about that one.
One wrong move up there... and you become dead.
still 4k lower than the edge of the troposphere. ..
Does anybody can see the flat earth?
The camera is using a fish eye lens genius...
+mpkid5 yeah which it curving the picture the wrong way to fake a round earth. You can clearly see that the earth is round if you have ever been on a long gone flight
The earth is flat like a tortilla. If you go to the edge, you fall out. That's why it's called the edge of space.
That is not a fisheye lens look at the tail fins of the plane they are not distorted
The camera lens makes the world look round. Crazy. I thought camera lens technology would be farther along by now.
Bahahahahahha,,,WTF,,??????
Thanks for VDO really i like it Keep it up
6:18min...The earth is not flat! Thx XD lol
my thoughts exactly
They put a fish eye at the camera to make you think it's not flat.
No. It's fish eye lens. Look how the land flattens out when it goes up and down at 5:08 it'ss flat, then curved at 5:14. Flat EARTH FTW!
Lock at start. Its not a fisheye cam.
...do you know with what kind of camera that film was made???
if it is a fisheyelinse one can not tell...
15km is not edge of space. rubbish, waste of time
maybe its not the edge of space but its still an awesom flight :)
It's the edge of space if you have air breathing engines.
+STKS no it's not, SR71 operates comfortably to 100000ft AND at Mach 3 for sustained 30 min, img cannot even reach 100k
Gavin Beverley Unfortunately that one *doesn't take passengers* and therefore is a fucking stupid comparison. Keep comparing apples and oranges you cretin.
Thank you, Mr Shunt. Pretty sure there's some jealousy in them there nay-sayers...
Hi, question: why it is stated better in winter? The 15° C issue is relevant close to the ground level only, as at about 8000 meters and more you are already at -50, whatever is the season... isn't it?
Cool video. Those aren't smoke trails. They are condensation trails and they are visible much earlier (see 5:20). These are caused by the combustion of Hydrocarbons in the cold atmosphere. The hot water vapor in the exhaust quickly condenses in the cold atmosphere to cause small water droplets (steam) that form con-trails.
badass smokin' trails 0:4317:0519:5621:4922:1323:5024:2525:0925:54
7:47 flat earth without the gopro fish eye lense effect.
they don't even know what is fish eye lens (ball earth believers)
Yep fish eye curve as turning around otherwise, yup deff flat as fuck !!!!
It's actually hollow, but them lenses are twisting people's perspective. The sun is small flame within. That's why in winter, when it's cold and the sun combustion isn't good enough there is too much carbon monoxide and when sometimes the air smells like mule it's due to the sun volcanic activity.
+Kiki a malac yes we do, you moron.
+Kiki a malac How thick is the Earth, then? What do the sides look like when you fly over the edge? Why can someone fly in the same direction and come back to the same place? I would love to hear your informed opinions on the topic.
in level flight the twin exhausts are parallel and even; when banking one is higher than the other - this is how, from my perspective anyway - level flight seems to show a flat horizon
Cuando el avión está girado, el horizonte se dobla, cuando está recto, el horizonte es plano o cóncavo.
Gracias por la demostración.
