A note from us after all of the years again in regards to high-performance jet flights for civilians: Most of you guys never flown in a high-performance jet fighter, even not in a normal plane. To prepare for such an adventure mainly took 6 months in advance, and a lot of work was involved, including showing up that the client had a good health status. We sent out specific documents about all the facts & figures involved in such a flight adventure. And only if the documents were filled out and the med-exam by a doctor (or even in some cases by a flight surgeon) were given, the adventure could be booked. When a client did not take control of the jet by offering that by the pilot in command, it was his own decision. Most clients never sat in such a plane or even did aerobatics in their lifetime. In addition, by crossing the sound barrier, the blood pressure decreases, and so it could happen that a client felt a little bit tired. Also, some clients closed their eyes during aerobatics and found later out that this wasn't a good idea, much better to keep their eyes open to see all of that what was going on outside the cockpit so that the equilibrium system can work properly and can adapt on the unusual situation. We flew such fighter jets between 2002 and 2017 (then they stopped the flights for civilians), and there was not one client who vomit or didn't like the flight. Only one case appeared that a client had really struggled to make the pressure compensation by blowing through the nose, and later on, it shows up that he had the same issue as astronaut Alan B. Most passengers do want to feel the flight in total. To control the jet means to concentrate on the jet, and not on the experience. Some of our clients refuse to steer the jet by themselves. Each flight is an extraordinary experience based on other reasons by customers.
Man I would love to go on a flight. He can tail slide, loop, loop again, invert , barrel roll, all those moves till he sees me either gray out or totally blacked out. I would love it!! Just don’t crash me!!😳
To be honest, I would decline too. I would prefer to let the professional pilot do the flying so I could enjoy the ride and take in the beautiful view. Thanks
Yes... TOP GUN... Russian version... I would of gotten the chance. It's not like anyone can actually take control of a MiG-29 on a daily basis (without having a flight booked). What I find funny is that this guy is Australian... he lives in an environment where anything can kill you, and he is scared to open his eyes when the pilot is pitching the plane up. I wish I had the money that this guy spent to do this.
When a Russian pilot tells you "you can have the stick for a few moments." YOU BETTER GET IT BOY! once in a lifetime opportunity... instead of making full use of it, he says, _i'm good_ ?!?!??!WHAT??!?!?????!!
How are you defining best? US made jets outperform on almost any metric. I also couldn't believe he said "nah, i'm good" I think even the pilot was like "wuh??? and thought maybe English not good I misunderstand"

05Hogsrule. Hi, just read your note on the Mig 29 that you wanted to fly in. Check internet to see if there are flights to buy as there are many Migs around the world! If not available there other jets such as the L39. Also I can say for another aircraft to fly in is the Gorgeous Extra 300. It is just beautiful to fly, there is no lag in the stick and rudder, it’s instant movement! The aircraft has so much power that It will do anything with power set 160Kts. The Extra is excellent fly one! I wish you jolly good luck whatever you fly, and you’ll be wearing a big smile for many days! Enjoy your flying sport. JB. Surrey. UK.
What a stunning video! The pilot was terrific; calm, relaxed, friendly, outgoing, and a superb flyer. P2 clearly wasn't enjoying the flight by the look in his eyes and by not taking the stick. Most of us earthlings would had behaved much worse! I rate this five stars, not just for the exclusive quality and production, but for the uninterrupted clear sound of the crew and the MIG without those annoying hard rock guitars' others play echoing like porn music.
The behaviour of the backseater is normal because most people do not understand what does it mean to fly as a non-professional in a high-performance fighter jet. The feelings are different by any human. Some of them shown more fear, some of them were very quiet at all, some of them were talking the whole time. He enjoyed the flight totally, even he found out later on that he should not have closed his eyes through some maneuvres because he thought, that would help against motion sickness because that doesn't help. And some claiming that he missed the opportunity to steer the jet by self. Andrew had had too much respect and he wanted to enjoy each second of the flight with a Russian test-pilot. He came a long way from Australia to do so.

Most passengers do want to feel the flight in total. To control the jet means to concentrate on the jet, and not on the experience. Some of our clients refuse to steer the jet by themselves. Each flight is an extraordinary experience based on other reasons by customers.

That is beautiful. Pilot is very talented. Loves to fly and it shows. Thanks for sharing.
He had the chance to fly a Mig-29, and he declined?!
I'd have begged for some stick time from the beginning.
To each his own, I suppose.
He was still fine but wasn't sure if he should. There are so many things around you during such a flight; you need time to realise where you are.
To be honest, I would decline too. I would prefer to let the professional pilot do the flying so I could enjoy the ride and take in the beautiful view. Thanks
Like I said, to each his own
Cheers :)
Yes...
Dee Jay that's why he gets a thumb down. he asked him twice!!!
When a Russian pilot tells you "you can have the stick for a few moments."
YOU BETTER GET IT BOY! once in a lifetime opportunity... instead of making full use of it, he says, _i'm good_
?!?!??!WHAT??!?!?????!!
he seemed many times like he was on the edge to getting unconscious, probably thats why
Don’t want game over with only 1 life.
Chad Klaren these are incredible jets man, Russians know how to build the best jets.
How are you defining best? US made jets outperform on almost any metric. I also couldn't believe he said "nah, i'm good" I think even the pilot was like "wuh??? and thought maybe English not good I misunderstand"
I'd knock out the pilot from behind, ejects him, flips the plane like bat outta hell, then ejects myself, and parachute nicely to the border.
Les russes ont été les premiers à nous ouvrir les portes du cosmos. Gagarine, son audace et son courage nous a permis de franchir cette porte vers l'espace.
Love it! No bullshit background music!

"No thanks I'm good".

Rohan Supari 56000ft is nothing but 10000km? How about 100km? It's already near vacuum above that and I don't think it's seriously wrong to say space starts there.

Hi, just read your note on the Mig 29 that you wanted to fly in.
Check internet to see if there are flights to buy as there are many Migs around the world! If not available there other jets such as the L39. Also I can say for another aircraft to fly in is the
Gorgeous Extra 300. It is just beautiful
to fly, there is no lag in the stick and rudder, it’s instant movement!
The aircraft has so much power that
It will do anything with power set 160Kts. The Extra is excellent fly one!
I wish you jolly good luck whatever you
fly, and you’ll be wearing a big smile
for many days!
