Definitely a bizarre model subject. I've seen the boxes but never seen one built. It's rare and unusual enough that I think it's a good candidate for box stock.

@@timkustom I've been thinking about "cloning" the basic idea using "parts box" stuff and wood from a hobby shop and printed fabric from a craft store. The "clone" could be made to look more 'realistic' than the official "Sticks and Slicks" kits, which were more concept art than serious models. But if I could get a legit "Sticks and Slicks" kit for my collection, I wouldn't turn it down . . . . Again, I wish you the best with your Elegant Farmer build!
You should have used the subtitle "That wasn't made in Japan" The Japanese have made some truly weird kits of some strange subjects over the years, including an injection molded kit of an injection molding machine and more recently a 1:1 scale plastic kit of a cup of noodles! As for the "Elegant Farmer", I don't think it was a very good seller back then, so I doubt it would ever be reissued. I think you should build it! I don't recall ever seeing one of those built.
Yeah, maybe I should fill the trailer with some of those noodles? That would be a terrible idea. It should make an interesting out of the box build. Someday... we shall see. Thanks for watching!

I used to think Bandai's styrene kit of a "Cup-O-Noodles" was the weirdest kit I'd seen, but that wheelbarrow rod takes the prize! 😅
