i got one a week tomorrow in the same colour . £3550 on the road . only done 10 miles as windy and wet and dont want to get it filthy . love it so far .
I love mine but did notice it has a bit of a wobble at speed in the front end. Gonna check air pressure and triple clamp hardware but it’s definitely more squirrelly than my Monkey
Gee Jon, the gear change is back to front from the Meteor. They ain’t half funky looking. Glen bought one. I can just imagine him being out of the Hayabusa, then saying, right I take the Dax now. But, I like the look of them, looks awesome fun. I did notice a some web page selling a flyscreen.
I’ve used the Handlebar attachment Quadlock. It fits well on the bars and is very secure. I’d recommend adding a Vibration dampener too. Here is the link to the correct one: www.quadlockcase.co.uk/products/motorcycle-mount I hope this helps. Cheers 👍
@@Subject__017 Super.. thanks.. My big brother had a gold colored ST-50 Dax in 1983, and ever since I have been in love with the Dax.. I even owned 2 Skyteam Dax.. but now finally the real thing is back.. and I appreciate that Honda upgraded it to a much more modern bike. I am in the process of selling my Suzuki GS500, because I am going to buy this new ST-125 Dax for sure! Keep the videos coming.. Maybe one where you show how fast is goes according to GPS reading. (I'm from Denmark, by the way)
What Honda should do long time ago was to give semi-auto 5 gears and 10-11 kW. You can buy short ratio 5 gear kit from japan, but power is still only good for first year. If you are asian size, it is slow uphill. I have semi-auto, and if it really was 10-11 kW it would be the best car driving licence scooter in my country. Btw Honda stole that clutch from our country motorcycle producer back when they developed cub.
I will do a future video on the gears. I thought it would be as you suggested, the rear pedal to change up and the front to change down. However, it’s the opposite way round. It’s down on the front pedal into first from neutral. Repeat again into second, third and fourth. To change down from 4th, press the rear pedal, you can do this 3 times to take you into 1st gear. If you press the rear pedal while in 1st gear, the bike will go into neutral. It’s very simple to get the hang of, once you have cycled the gearbox a few times. I hope this helps :)
@@Subject__017 thank you so much, I ordered my Dax a few weeks ago and delivery is due in a few months. I just really wondered about how the gears work.
@@Subject__017 watched u tube , dont change down a gear too soon ,also blip the throttle as you start to heel the pedal as this syncronises the revs and smoothes out snatchiness during down changes . smooth foot movements make all the difference .
A channel dedicated to the DAX would be cool. 👊🏼
Great bike mate …I do like these small bike from Honda
Dax jest👌. Podróżuję razem z moją żoną. Też jest czerwony 😊

Great video, just wondering where you got the cover for the horn from? thanks.
I got the horn cover from eBay, I think it was around £10-15. I hope this helps.
😀Love it. I have the same bike and find it hard to choose between this and my Monkey 125. Happy days
Glad you enjoyed it! Both bikes are brilliant, the Monkey looks so good 😎

Hi. What's the correct quad lock to look for when buying one for the Dax? Cheers.

Could you tell me more about shifting gears on this? Front pedal to go down a gear and heel pedal to go up a gear or am I wrong?
