Caldera de Bandama -volcanic eruption hole | Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Hi dear YT friends,
I posted this video recorded in November 2023, if you watched my previous Gran Canaria videos, then you know it.
On that day, we decided to visit a famous spot Pico de Bandama, the highest pointers have a look out of the volcanic crater Bandama Caldera which was developed during the drastic eruptions 2000 years ago.
It is then recorded as the most recent volcanic activity in Gran Canaria island.
We travelled about 70 km from Gloria Hotel Puerto Rico to Pico de Bandama.
I hope you enjoy the drive and the spectacular view from the highest point.

Who said this was Pico de las Nieves? The one you mention is the highest point in Gran Canaria, located just behind the big mountains at the end of this video.
The one you are visiting is Pico de Bandama and Caldera de Bandama as shown clearly by the signs at 06:00

I was mistakenly acknowledged it, my husband did tell me there was a mistake earlier about the location. Anyway thanks for telling me the same thing :)
