We stayed at the Eurotel several times; the hotel is pretty good with a good breakfast buffet. We never paid much over Php1000 (US$20), and I checked with agoda.com., our favorite online booking site, and the price listed was $21, so the price they quoted you, even with the 40% discount is a little high. Another plus for this hotel is that it has a large and secure car park. We generally have our car with us as we visit Naga frequently, but live in Libmanan.
470 Pesos was for 12 Hours, 24 hours was 620 pesos, I guess you could check in at 8pm and leave 8am the next morning? But for 620 I think I would just pay the 24 hour rate.
Ha! I saw me in the video. Yes you are a famous vlogger! And I hope to bump into you again(next time) and your beautiful wife and children. I enjoy watching your vlogs, makes me feel closer to my hometown. ♥️ From, NC USA
Hi Chris and Mel, great vids on hotels to be honest the 470 peso a night would do all you need is a bed to sleep in and a shower no need for breakfast you can always get your eats on the street plenty of places to get breakfast .thanks for vid:)
@EUROTEL looks very nice and clean. 40% discount that's about 1110 pesos a day. For me this is already a good price even with out breakfast buffet. Maybe thier breakfast buffet is less than 500 pesos. Still big savings if you stay more than a day.
I am in Toronto but I still have a house there by Conception area in Magsysay but it is not a slum area. There’s a few to mention of nice good hotels with amenities like Bistro Roberto and etc. And with wifi connection but pricey of course. Naga City is a nice City to live in I knew the place where you live guys due to I used to know a person from there
They were all good, even the budget one. I would just put up with the budget one as I just want somewhere to sleep. If I want a hotel room and service, just go to a resort and access to a beach too.
My fiancé lives in Bairan in the other Naga in Cebu, she calls it the jungle and it's pretty rough but it's also very beautiful and I can't wait to go there this month.
The lady at the reception desk is dressed like a flight attendant with the hat. Hotel looks very clean like you can eat off the floor. I hope that hat is not hot on her head.
Thank you for that, a really informative vlog. Definitely shows the Philippines as a developing country as opposed to third world. Some amazing value for money, with standards I would be pleased with for the price. I've stayed in far worse in the UK for more money. Would be great if you could mange an update when you had some time as Php prices are going up fast. I am late in watching the video as I am going through your back catalogue. Kind regards to Mel, Mathew, Sofia and your good self.
Thanks for the information. There are some of us who fly into Naga through Pili Airport. It is important to have a complimentary shuttle for arrival and departure. Between Eurotel and Villa Caceres, the latter is better for me. Good job guys!
Great part one and two videos, very informative, and something for every taste and budget, good job! Thanks again and have a pleasant week, we miss Mathew though! Best regards/Ned!

Hi. I like watching your videos. But, if you can avoid moving the camera so much, i would greatly appreciate it. My headache won't be as much afterwards. Thank you.
Great Video all the prices and hotels looks good to me. In Vancouver BC because it is the long weekend I read the Hotels downtown are charging $900.00 per night works out to 36,000 pesos hotels out of down town can be had for $400.00 per night 16,000 pesos per night we stayed there off season in March to watch the Vancouver Canucks game the Hotel was $200.00 per night and $20.00 per night to park your car it did include a Continental breakfast also the tickets to watch the Canucks from the nose bleeds cost $167.00 Just wanted to say all those people were waiting for the elevator and they shuffled you in first but the noise when the doors closed freaked me out I thought it was a major malfunction with the elevator Cheep oranges and expensive everything not so every thing looks like a bargain there to us here in Canada
A Brit in the Philippines I was thinking that Chris when you were mentioning prices for apples and oranges. In Canada you might get the stem of the apple for 25 cents ha ha. Good set of videos Chris.
I often stay at sogo yes they rent by 2 or 3 hours but they all so have 12 and 24 hour rates that are very good I've stayed in the sta mesa one in metro Manila and it has all ways been clean for me and my wife we normally get the 12 hour rate cause her nephew lives close by so we store our bags during the day there and just sleep in the room normally its under $10U.S.

Naga bureau of tourism should pay you... I thi nk you re starting to convince me to take a look overthere kuya ; )
There doesn't seem to be much interest in helping me promote Naga City,I have my thoughts on in my case why,but it's best I keep them to myself.
