@@arczi1309I got FOTS recently and the two units that I found anywhere close to viable from Vanilla where the Portuguese Tercos and Donderbuss and even then, they suffer because they lack men and range. FOTS hits fucking hard

No way man. There are 'commerce raider' type ships in fall of the samurai. Wooden boats but with steam engines. They don't blow up that easy and they're made from the same material as the black ship. Cool video though
Technically if ship would blow or not in the FotS was still a matter of the RNG rolls. In one of my games AI deployed a single wooden frigate against one of my ports where I stationed a fleet with Kotetsu Ironcloud in it, so I moved her to get rid of that frigate... and imagine my surprise when after single hit frigate literally exploded like giant fireball... 😳 But yes Warrior in the FotS was a true ship killer... while French or US Ironclouds leaves many to desire in terms of mobility and firepower.
It's almost as if three hundred years makes a difference...
Maybe The English Queen brought some ironclad through portals on 1588 Spanish invasion......thats why they still call her witch.

Makes me want to go back and capture it with a bunch of boats at the beginning of the game and just dominate the sea.
